Some people will talk shit until they die to try to win an argument that it's not overrated. I've seen that with a guy trying to say that the 2jz is the best engine ever made. As you said. Android users but worse. I like it quiet when in a car. When working in an auto shop you want to be able to have some quiet time.

40:40, that is a toll booth card reader. I think that was what you heard beeping at you when starting up the car, they usually have a female announcer telling you that you need to put the card in for it to work.
But by god, fun to watch you react to JDM culture that I've been a part of from the sidelines and it's just nice to hear you dog on it lmao as a 19 y/o
Wangan Midnight was a comic book series in Japan, the anime was awful might check out the movie.
Another series of note is Initial D for that which was way better by every metric in the series. I doubt you'd ever watch the subtitled Japanese one but dammit it's amazing.
I'd love to see you in a FD RX-7, my personal dream car of choice of that period. 50-50 weight distribution, E-Type comparison worthy looks, the crazy 13b rotary engine, great motorsport history, not as overhyped as the GT-R or Supra.
Just a damn good car even if the plastics suck and rotaries get a bad rap.
Please continue giving them a bad rap and devaluing them.
I might own one one day lmao.
Hearing you complain about JDM just makes me want to hear your thoughts on Hello Kitty fans and Harley riders. Other than #3 on a Dale Earnhardt trinket they are the most crazy wanting show off their flair stuff.
So funny. We love ya Bill ! Keep it up!
I personally love the Celica GT-4. I love unique and quirky cars. This is why I also ABSOLUTELY love Saabs. Underrated IMO. But, you shouldn't bash someone for liking something. I sometimes get bashed on for liking Saabs.
That's a specialty for the JDM community in some ways. I like the supra. But, it's overrated. Some people will talk shit until they die to try to win an argument that it's not overrated. I've seen that with a guy trying to say that the 2jz is the best engine ever made. As you said. Android users but worse.
I like it quiet when in a car. When working in an auto shop you want to be able to have some quiet time.
Love your car reviews Bill !! BUT I think it’s time to get a camera mounted to the windshield!!
"94' Celica. A new car dealership’s worst nightmare!" 😂 Scotty Kilmer
Nice. I haven't seen one of these since I played Gran Turismo 4 on my PS2.
40:47 that thing its actually an "ETC" Electronic Tool Collector. You put a card that collects fees everytime you get on some highways.
Bill out here snappin
A Tijuana Pimp…. I laughed soooo damn hard. Thanks for a great review!
Back in the day I actually considered one of these but I went with my 94 Firebird T/A
Thanks Bill another great video
First import I ever really took a good look at but passed over as I refused to buy new at the time. Ended up with an 1987 911 turbo…. probably shoulda got the Celica
The world needs more people like you Bill! Tell it the way it is, have your opinions and stick to your guns! No politically correct worries, the world was better before the "Do Gooders" came along and screwed everything up!
I think the actual video starts around 18:50.
Honestly, great walk around minus the rambling in the beginning.
Corvette Summer is a fun movie. I saw it as a very young kid in the 70s at a cinema walk in.
Scotty Kilmer approved!!
Scotty Kilmer's car right here, the legendary '94 Celica.
