That is wonderful; you may also see the floating plants surfacing fish and depth of field within the aquascape. That is trully the best and most durable looking light I've seen. Congratulations.

Just did my maintenance on my Tank while watching your new video. I got lights that sit ontop of the rim of the aquarium.
Sometimes I would really like to have pendant lights. Especially when working in the tank xD

What impressed me the most is the lumens in this light, my Chihiros Vivid 2 is around 5,500 lumens and can go up to 130 watts

Hee Mark, gave lamp hoor die skylight. Je hebt waarschijnlijk de duidelijkste video over de lamp gemaakt die er tot nu toe is op YT 👌👍 Ben nogsteeds benieuwd naar de kleurweergave! (met name rode planten, ik zie praktisch alleen maar foto's en video's van de SL met groene planten)
Tof dat je aquarium er is, hopelijk krijgt Mike snel nog meer binnen 😉

I think that's a VERY bold statement to make regarding its the best unit on the market, do you have any stats to back this up? It doesn't even look like it's got smart app/Bluetooth/WiFi capabilities?
Of course that's a very bold statement, and no I can't back it up 😊 I just said that because I'm very enthusiastic about this light.
Which lights in your opinion are some of the top performers right now?
@@MJAquascaping I've owned a Twinstar S version, which I found to be an excellent light that could grow anything I put under it. Currently running 2 x Vivid RGB II on a larger tank. It's early days yet (4 weeks) but I'm impressed with them so far, also the ability to control them and gradually increase the wattage is very useful being that they are so powerful. My comment wasn't a criticism, just not seen or heard of the lights and have been scaping for a few years 🙂

Why are you replacing the sponges? Sponges are great filter media, easy to clean and will last for years!
I have some ceramic media which should lower the ph slightly, so I'm curious to test that.

Good choice! The cabinet is from Juwel! This one is the cabinet for the juwel rio 400 i think
@@MJAquascaping thank You for very kind answer. It's for Rio 300/350 and I'm worring if it strong enough to hold 350 liters i a opti white taks, witch is already more than 70 kg empty. Toogether with a hardscape and water could be over a 450kg... 💪
