Some of what I normally don't show on this channel is when things don't work out. No go decisions are part of flying small aircraft and often times you arent able to make it where you would like, like they say, time to spare go by air.

You got to go flying with newly-met friends/collaborators and you took me along (virtually). While it may not have worked in accordance with your plans, it was a pleasure for me to watch, so thank you for that...and now Becki and Chris have to come back so you can teach her how to cast a fly rod, so it's a win-win!
It's so green out there now. The last time I was in Reno at this time of year it was like the driest dry. Incredible what a liitle water can do.

Awesome, hopefully they get to come back thru when they pick up the helicopter from Overhaul, and you 3 get to do more exploring.
Such a shame to hear of the duration of time the Falcon will be out of service, but what a cool send off. I'm looking forward to watching their documentation of the trip. And maybe one day if you find yourself back in New Hampshire/Vermont, we could meet up and fly there together too! We're hosting a helicopter fly-in this fall that we intend to become an annual event as well.

Another great video. You did a cost per hour breakdown on your plane once I wonder what would it be on a helicopter? You could let her practice with your flyrod in your yard instead of at the stream. I find it easier to teach when you don't have bushes and things to hang up on. Want to have fun if you have a cat tie a bit of cloth to the end of your line [no hook ] and tease the cat.
