The pacing in this video was just way too fast for it to be a useful guide. And that's coming from someone who understands optimization and genshin (but not optimizing in genshin specifically). For a useful guide you would want to slowly and methodically go through the UI and explain what the elements are and what is their purpose. Also a big part of how to use an optimizer like this is choosing the optimization target. This video pretty much assumes the user knows what they want to optimize for, but the reality is that they don't know. While this video did not hit the mark, I hope someone would do a proper video series on how this particular optimizer works. It just takes a bit more planning to educate than just calling someone who knows about the subject and recording the call.
I feel like if you know the substats you're filtering for, and can provide the situation assumptions you'd be running under, then you already have enough internalized knowledge to manually pick the artifacts yourself with a high degree of accuracy. Maybe this is more useful for the Zajef types that have a common pool of shared artifacts that they have to constantly swap off every time they field a different team for Abyss. But I have individual sets for every character that are pretty much locked in and already Abyss-ready, so this seems like a lot of additional work for not much gain.
Yeah, it do be hard taking artifact advice from guys who've been full resin refreshing for years. Must be nice having so many good pieces that you need help sorting them all.
I used this once a few months ago to optimize builds. It's great, though feels useless unless you have a LOT of good unused artifacts. I really don't like swapping builds, so I generally farm 1 character at a time. It does help more if you feel like you want to make some characters as strong as possible, and you don't mind stealing good artifacts from other characters. I'll probably use it again in a few months, just to reorganize and upgrade more artifacts. The Natlan archon will probably change up builds for me as well.
@@planetary-rendez-vous Yeah it helps locate minor upgrades for situations where you may have misjudged, though I'm not going to comment on the abyss run stuff. Maybe for newer accounts that may matter.
Finally set up the optimizer thanks to this video, was useful! I'd suggest to link Artiscan tutorial in the pinned comment or in the description tho, it's pretty important. I also hope a database for teams importing for the various characters gets created/linked if there's one already
I am practically a day 1 player and have never used a optimizer. Not to say you can’t do it, I just find it to be too much work. The optimization also works for specific teams. So say you have optimized Keqing’s gear for team A and want to use her in team B, then her damage in team B will be lower, maybe even much lower. That’s why I have every character that I have built on an “overall/average” build. And I can switch characters between teams easily and the damage output in every team is still somewhat decent. For example, my Raiden has relatively low EM since I mainly use her as a Burst-DPS but whenever I want to use her in Hyperbloom she still performs decently since I purposefully didn’t avoid any EM stats that her artifacts currently have. My Xiangling might have too much ER when I use her in mono-pyro but she’ll still perform decently and I don’t have to switch artifacts at all. If they one day will finally implement artifact loadouts in Genshin, then I might use the optimizer to make better sets for specific teams because then I could switch them quickly.
I think genshin optimizer is a great tool for people who like having good builds/enjoy midmaxing it's not for everyone and can be a bit of a hassle to use but for people like myself who don't know a lot about genshin tc but still care a little bit about the numbers it's a great tool. I have a favorite character that I main in genshin who I want to see do the biggest dmg number possible and optimizer helps me to find the best artifacts to do that. Certainly isn't for everyone but for the people who do use it it's an amazing tool.
I use the Optimizer sometimes and I cannot follow this either. 😅 It is useful to e.g. figure out how the artifact sets within a specific team could be fine tuned for maximum performance. For teams who need every % of added power... But it is such a big work to do this for every character and team...
My artifacts are absolutly correct. Even 10% weaker set that is specifically for that character is much better then constant shuffle on artefacts. Not to mention going for like 0.8% upgrades this page suggests sometimes. Even more true with addition of Imaginarium Theather. So many people had trouble there cause they share cracked artifacts between many characters.
You can exclude artifacts that are already used by other characters when optimizing. I've done optimization on 32 characters so far and none of them share artifacts.
I really like the optimizer, so many features and you can optimize for anything on a character. However, I stopped using it. It just kept telling me that the builds I were using were the best I had... I guess the hours of watching build videos and theory crafting, being very good at math, and a veteran min/max gamer helped build my characters as best as I possibly could. Thanks to Jello for many of those videos, they really helped me early on when I started playing Genshin. This is an amazing tool. If nothing else, it made me much more confident that I was building my characters as best as they possibly could be. Everyone should be using it. Use the tool, watch Jello's videos on what teams/characters to build, and then have a much smoother game experience. 100% worth it, even if you aren't that serious when playing, since it will make playing feel so much better when you play.
The pain of getting the right main stat and double crit sub-stats on an artifact and not having a SINGLE roll go into either of them... (My life story) 🥲
I found out it's easier if u level multiple artifacts often nd you'll get a hang of mastering artifacts. Nowadays I'm getting really decent sub stats on my artifacts for my free to play account where I hardly have 5 star weapons the rest of my 5 star weapons are all 50 50 loses where I got bows instead of the weapon I wanted
I was excited when I saw this, but having gone through the optimizer myself, and only watching the first few minutes, this video skips over SOOO many preliminary details.
Remember guys to SAVE YOUR DATA by downloading and storing your latest changes on the optimizer as a file in your device (replace with new file if you have an existing file). If you don't, there is no guarantee that closing the optimizer and opening it back up will save what you have (I've had to re-enter all of my character details and artifacts (300+) more than once because of this mistake and it was very time-consuming).
Is it ok to feel a bit sorry for Jello? 😅At a certain point it just felt like someone pointed a word gattling at him pressed fire and never released the button 😂 Very useful Information though and kinda cute how passionate he was about the Optimizer 😁Thank you both!
I feel like this is too much work to not get a worth it increase for any casual player Like yeah if i stole the artifacts from my other characters i could get a significant upgrade, but for obvious reasons i dont want to do it Also, setting up teams like childe international (or any team with multiple reacting dps/lots of buffs) looks like hell for me
There also isn't any need, I can't be bothered to 12 star the abyss most times although I have in the past. As for the new theatre mode the problem I have is ending up with crappy teams that don't work even if the individual characters are decently built and micro optimization of their artifacts won't help.
Looks wildly complicated. Theres 10,000 things on the screen at all times. Everytime I think that I should try out the optimizer I see these videos and change my mind.
I just sometimes scan my artifacts into it to see which ones are absolute trash and which could stay. Otherwise, I tried, but... It is so much work to set up all these teams for all the characters...
Me, who is leveling every character, has trash artifacts, and prefers non-combat gameplay: Interesting. 😂I like seeing how passionate and incredible the Genshin community can be, even if I never plan on using this.
@@None38389 I'm a bit of a completionist with things I like. I want everyone at least 70/80 for all the free wishes and to be theater viable. It's basically the highest they would need to be to meet every unlock except for being the strongest they can be. I have just 3 characters left!
It is a good tool for end game players that have tons of good artifacts. Usually lower level players don't grind artifacts as much. So new players shouldn't sweat it. You guys so many other things to catch up in-game anyways.
Oh no, it's happening. In Path of Exile, we have a thing called PoB warriors, which is people who play on optimizer all day without touching the actual game. I hope this won't happen to Genshin.
@@None38389 I'm not talking about min/maxing, ofc you do min/maxing. I'm talking about PoB warriors, not your average player. You can min/max in the game and with some calculator alright. But it has gone too far when most of the build videos on UA-cam is of some guy sitting on PoB without even showing the actual gameplay. I don't even know if they have the character built or not, they can even talk air in the PoB only without any play testing for all I know.
This tool really REALLY needs simplification. The interface is ridiculously overwhelming. The average user is going to see that and hit "X". I have tried to make it work several times and just got super frustrated. Too many choices and basically zero documentation to explain it. Unless someone can simplify this down to near the level of in-game build assistant, it's doomed to stay a niche tool for the abyss obsessed crowd. (Sorry for being harsh but I felt that I should be honest due to all the work that's gone into GO and the vast potential it has if it was more accessible by normal people. )
Can the optimizer work where the artifacts can be tested among multiple characters? Say I wanted to optimize Neuvillette's average charged attack damage but maybe some MH and GT pieces could work on Furina. As far as I understand, the optimizer can work with Neuvi's loadout as the parameter to be optimized, but can Furina's be added as well?
Each time you optimize your character (Neuv in this instance), you can choose the builds of your support characters (they showed how to do this at 16:10). There is also a setting that allows you to use artifacts equipped to other characters ("use equipped artifacts" section on the right side of the optimize screen with the gear symbol). What you want to do is first optimize for Furina, then save that build for her as "Furina Optimized." Then optimize for Neuvilette, stealing some pieces from Furina by enabling the "used equipped artifacts." Then go back and optimize Furina again (this time unchecking the "use equipped artifacts" portion so she doesn't steal pieces back) and save that build as "Furina 2nd best" or something similar. After that, all you would have to do is optimize for Neuvilette and swap back and forth between the 2 Furina builds to see the difference it would make if you stole pieces from Furina. Not sure how confusing this is, but I hope it helps.
@@latitude990 Ah ok, so it can't do one big optimization, right? We'd have to find candidate support builds and then try each one. And not sure if this is known, but does this swap-optimizing guarantee that the absolute max is achieved (i.e. is it possible that Furina's optimal build for Neuvi lies between "Furina Optimized" and "Furina 2nd best")? If "Furina Optimized" optimizes Furina first, while "Furina 2nd best" optimizes Neuvillette first, could it be the case that the maximum actually has a shared optimization between the two characters?
@@latitude990 As an example, if I had a cracked goblet and circlet, and the "Furina Optimized" build takes both pieces, but "Furina 2nd best" gives both to Neuvi, could the best combination actually split the goblet and circlet between the two?
I switched out of my top 1% akasha Marechaussee Hunter set to 2pc pyro 2pc atk% for Lyney because optimizer told me Marechaussee Hunter gives less dmg than the 2 pieces 😅
this video is useless, no one can process all this, this guys is so utterly hardcore hes not even speaking English at this point. And not even when you call him out on it he doesn't get it. This is a major investment in both time and mental capacity and no one should be required to do a PhD to use a video game optimization tool. 1/10
Not exactly, having the right combination of sub stats could potentially give you a lot of extra powers with the same amount of total stats. For example if you invested into only CV and nothing else you might ended up being much weaker than you could've been if you had a more balanced distribution.
Most typical method used is crit value. You double the crit rate on an artifact and add that to the crit dmg on the artifact. The higher the value, the better the artifact. Maximum value of crit value for any artifact(except circlets) is about 52cv.
@@raffaelloperi7500 i think you wanna ask how much crit value(cv) does a good artifact have? Well it depends on your standards. If your current artifacts are very bad then even a 30cv will look good to you. But for endgame players who basically play just to maximize their build strength, they won't be satisfied until the artifact has 45+cv. That being said, here's a somewhat generalized list.. 50cv - god level
@@crimsonmoon123 30CV is not meh. That's very good. Especially for casuals. The game is easy. Even at C0 and 4* weapons. Anything past 20CV is just cherry on top

Its to hot, I spend my resin on books, first time that I don't go into domains. just ONE pyro goblet.
It was an interesting watch. However I won't ever use this, because the setup is taking a long time and the system just takes whatever artifact. It doesn't account for the fact that artifact is on another charachter does it? And lastly I can clearly beat every content in the game anyway. 🤷🏽
@@JelloImpact On the optimizer sight, when I click the "scanners" tab at the top of the page, there are 3 scanners shown. Which one works? Or is there one for the site I am missing? O.o
unfortunately, the import of the artifacts to the tool via Artiscan doesn't work for me at all - I play on playstation and it seems the stats' scanner is shifted vertically, so the text recognition doesn't work. I changed the language to English (as a native German speaker, I usually play in German of corse), but this has no effect. Do anyone know any other method to get this tool working?
Hmm... I play on pc, but I what I do is: -switch to controller to quickly go through all the artifacts in my bag while recording -feed the video in artiscan and choose "scan as loot screen" (This seems to be the option if you scanned from the bag since the other one doesn't work for me.) Sometimes there are errors when the video quality isn't up to par, but this method never failed for me.
From what it seems like, it takes into consideration the team composition & gives you an overall damage output based on the stats of the artifacts you have rather than being based on specific sets.
You need to set some parameters first before running the optimizer. For example: what teammates (that provide team buffs) will you run with the character? Will you take into account elemental resonance and toggle it on/off? Are you calculating for the biggest raw damage (more focused on character scaling stats like ATK, HP, DEF) or reaction dmg like melt, vape, quicken (more focused on EM)? Do you want to take into account ALL artifacts that you have or only ones not equipped by other characters? What artifact set(s) will you allow the character to have? Or will 2 piece-2 piece/random artifacts be okay with you if it means better substats and dmg? Should some stats be set to a minimum must-have? For example, you might want a minimum of 50% crit rate for DPSes or Favonius carriers, or at least 200% ER on energy hungry characters that don't have teammates on Fav nor double elements etc. There are a lot of things to consider in order for the optimizer to spit out the best artifacts (that you possess) for your character scenarios.
Is this even useful in any way? The game is already so easy to the point where the end game (especially the imaginerium theater) relies much more on the quantity rather than quality of your characters on the account. That's why instead of optimizing and min maxing my top characters I chose to only farm artifacts until an acceptable build with roughly 60/120 ratio on majority of the roaster, instead of trying to min max the top 8 who I always use in the abyss.
For anyone wondering, optimizers don’t change anything. Especially, if you don’t have hundreds of lvl20 artifacts stashed in your inventory (which most people don’tg
It does change everything. With an optimizer, you would be surprised how useful some 'useless' artifacts actually are, and how some useless some 'useful' artifacts are, depending on the character and total SV in your artifacts. And yes, in the TC community, CV is no longer the standard
@@skybattler2624 Second this. Sometimes I'm tempted to feed my "bad" artifacts into new ones, only to find out on the optimizer that they have good balanced stats for some characters, while a bunch of my 30+ CV pieces are gathering dust in my inventory lol.
@@skybattler2624 if the artifact is not double crit and rolls into def hp or elemental mastery or something, then it’s garbage and you can throw it out. Jk, kinda. For 95% of cases you can build your dps and subdps characters by just giving high cv pieces and supports by giving them high er pieces. And for 95% of players reaching a point where crit becomes less useful than attack% or hp% is unrealistic without specific weapons/constellations and even though with the optimizer, you can find out that a 24% atk flower with em rolls but no cv can be stronger than your current mediocre flower, that is only a temporary solution before one day you actually roll a good flower. And mind you, mostly these differences you’re talking about are going to be 1-3% which is nothing in the grand scheme of things. So yes, the optimizer is useless unless you’re hardcore minmaxing, which is kinda pointless
if you have 270CD when you only have 70CR then yes your artifacts are wrong. You are wasting stats by investing so much into something that does nothing 30% of the time. Drop some CD for CR. 210CD and 100CR would give you much higher DPS on average.
the pain of building thankfully will become lesser with 5.0, once you can obtain finally an item, that allows you to make Artefacts with Main Stat and 2 Sub Stats of choice... sure, it doesnt help against the rng hell that is still buildign up the artefacts n gettign the stat boots to the subs that you want.. but you can at least finally incluence with these items in a significant way to get mainly the Stats that help you boos up significantly your DPS and give you a chance to get your build into the right direction....plus it removes some of the most annoying rng aspects that make artefact grind feel like intentionally made for infinity...with no influence on which main stat you get.. this will change now with 5.0. Over are the days then ,where you waste unendless amounts of resin ,just to try get an Artefact piece you want with the main stat you want and that with both crit rates subs in... which is the most important stuff, gettign the other 2 stats with either EM or other % stats is just icing on the cake for min maxers... and some characters dont even need certain stats, like Kokomi, needs no crit, do you can build her even easier now, choosing just HP% as main stat and ATK% and ER% for example, then you are basically done already...any EM, Flat HP and DEF% are just icing on the cake...as logn no crits are on her Artefacts , everything helps her to just get better n waste no Sub Stat Slots with something that doesnt bring her anything. Cant wait till 5.0 is finalyl there, it adds soo much incredible QoL improvements, its insane...
Ideally you're gonna want to look for a crit rate hat instead of crit dmg to balance out that lopsided ratio (so more like 50:140). But if you don't have a decent one yet, you run with what you have I guess.
@@damianellnoir9318 You'll see bigger numbers with what you have right now, but the low crit rate = less consistent. Your 20:204 might average a 100k hit every 5 hits while 50:140 would be like a 70k hit every 2 hits. In 10 hits, your 20:204 does 200k + non-crits while 50:140 does 350k + non-crits (if, theoretically, all other artifact substats were the same). While it is very napkin math, it really just comes down to crit damage being useless if you don't crit. Your crit damage numbers are high but a nicer crit rate would serve you much better if you're just looking for overall DPS.

So 1 set might be considered best for 1 team but not others. Id much rather make a more universal set t hen box myself into 1 optimal restricted

I'll probably use it again in a few months, just to reorganize and upgrade more artifacts. The Natlan archon will probably change up builds for me as well.
When you need to squeeze something to clear abyss or compare two finer artifacts it's useful for me
@@planetary-rendez-vous Yeah it helps locate minor upgrades for situations where you may have misjudged, though I'm not going to comment on the abyss run stuff. Maybe for newer accounts that may matter.
This is so helpful! Thank you so much 😭🙏
Finally set up the optimizer thanks to this video, was useful!
So much is happening, i feel like i cant follow it and will not doing this
I use the Optimizer sometimes and I cannot follow this either. 😅
It is useful to e.g. figure out how the artifact sets within a specific team could be fine tuned for maximum performance.
They should atleast make getting double crit artifacts easier, guaranteed to get double crit artifact with 5 condensed resin runs.
Every genshin player’s life story.
Hot take: if you know how to use this you are able to 36 star abyss already.
My goal is not to just 36 star it, my goal is to speed run it, every second matters to me.
I was excited when I saw this, but having gone through the optimizer myself, and only watching the first few minutes, this video skips over SOOO many preliminary details.
Unfortunately I can’t show the scanner setup 😔
Remember guys to SAVE YOUR DATA by downloading and storing your latest changes on the optimizer as a file in your device (replace with new file if you have an existing file). If you don't, there is no guarantee that closing the optimizer and opening it back up will save what you have (I've had to re-enter all of my character details and artifacts (300+) more than once because of this mistake and it was very time-consuming).
The thumbnail image of Arlecchino looking down at me always makes me feel things.
Is it ok to feel a bit sorry for Jello? 😅At a certain point it just felt like someone pointed a word gattling at him pressed fire and never released the button 😂 Very useful Information though and kinda cute how passionate he was about the Optimizer 😁Thank you both!
Would love to see a part 2 ngl
I feel like this is too much work to not get a worth it increase for any casual player
Like yeah if i stole the artifacts from my other characters i could get a significant upgrade, but for obvious reasons i dont want to do it
Also, setting up teams like childe international (or any team with multiple reacting dps/lots of buffs) looks like hell for me
There also isn't any need, I can't be bothered to 12 star the abyss most times although I have in the past. As for the new theatre mode the problem I have is ending up with crappy teams that don't work even if the individual characters are decently built and micro optimization of their artifacts won't help.
If this was simpler 😂i would but I'm already over it by the end of the video
What I learned from this video: I will not be touching this tool. 💀
Man I needed this one
Looks wildly complicated. Theres 10,000 things on the screen at all times. Everytime I think that I should try out the optimizer I see these videos and change my mind.
I just sometimes scan my artifacts into it to see which ones are absolute trash and which could stay. Otherwise, I tried, but... It is so much work to set up all these teams for all the characters...
9:23 Bro let out the wettest fart in history lmfao
Me, who is leveling every character, has trash artifacts, and prefers non-combat gameplay: Interesting. 😂I like seeing how passionate and incredible the Genshin community can be, even if I never plan on using this.
Why even level characters if you prefer non-combat gameplay though?
@@None38389 I'm a bit of a completionist with things I like. I want everyone at least 70/80 for all the free wishes and to be theater viable. It's basically the highest they would need to be to meet every unlock except for being the strongest they can be. I have just 3 characters left!
It is a good tool for end game players that have tons of good artifacts.
Usually lower level players don't grind artifacts as much.
So new players shouldn't sweat it. You guys so many other things to catch up in-game anyways.
you guys never got to the artifact upgrader
Oh no, it's happening.
In Path of Exile, we have a thing called PoB warriors, which is people who play on optimizer all day without touching the actual game.
I hope this won't happen to Genshin.
Why not? Min/maxing is a big part of the fun for me, I would've quit genshin(and PoE) a long time ago if not for the min/maxing.
(Sorry for being harsh but I felt that I should be honest due to all the work that's gone into GO and the vast potential it has if it was more accessible by normal people. )
i agree tbh
Bro that process seems so tedious
Lyney now top 0.9% nice
This might be the case but do make sure you didn’t miss any conditionals being toggled
did you turn on the 4 piece effect before optimizing?
i swear ive seen this before
this video is useless, no one can process all this, this guys is so utterly hardcore hes not even speaking English at this point. And not even when you call him out on it he doesn't get it.
This is a major investment in both time and mental capacity and no one should be required to do a PhD to use a video game optimization tool. 1/10
My brain 🧠 😫 lol I'm newbie tho 😅 but this is very interesting
Why oh why doesnt Genshin have a read only API so tools like this can just suck in your artifacts and players automatically?
You can scan them with a scanner app (it screenshots).
The issue here is that the Optimizer itself needs manual setup for every character and team...
I already know majority of my artifacts are bad
the true GIGACHAD way to play
There is still a best combination among the artifacts you have.
Counting Substats is all you need to know
This is too cumbersome.
Not exactly, having the right combination of sub stats could potentially give you a lot of extra powers with the same amount of total stats. For example if you invested into only CV and nothing else you might ended up being much weaker than you could've been if you had a more balanced distribution.
Sorry but how do I tell if a artafact is good or not
Most typical method used is crit value.
You double the crit rate on an artifact and add that to the crit dmg on the artifact. The higher the value, the better the artifact.
Maximum value of crit value for any artifact(except circlets) is about 52cv.
@@crimsonmoon123 then how much should be a good a creat value for an artifact
@@raffaelloperi7500 i think you wanna ask how much crit value(cv) does a good artifact have?
Well it depends on your standards.
If your current artifacts are very bad then even a 30cv will look good to you. But for endgame players who basically play just to maximize their build strength, they won't be satisfied until the artifact has 45+cv. That being said, here's a somewhat generalized list..
50cv - god level
@@crimsonmoon123 thank you very much for the explanation
@@crimsonmoon123
30CV is not meh. That's very good. Especially for casuals. The game is easy. Even at C0 and 4* weapons. Anything past 20CV is just cherry on top
I’m wondering if any c0 five stars are actually stronger than my c2 raiden. Every time I try a new character it feels weaker than my c2 raiden with c6 chev c6 fichel c5 jangling…
It's too much of a hassle. I'll farm as I'm doing now. I'm sure I'll be able to clear the abyss with 36 stars (currently doing 32-33 stars).
Im trying to get semi decent pyro goblet from new domain , nahh. my Arle is on something, maybe gilded dreams, she is fine. on the other hand Emilie that I may or may not pull for have three sets, and my Clorinde is awesome.
Its to hot, I spend my resin on books, first time that I don't go into domains.
just ONE pyro goblet.
This Tool tells me to use ATK-Sands on Neuvilette? How about no
It was an interesting watch.
However I won't ever use this, because the setup is taking a long time and the system just takes whatever artifact. It doesn't account for the fact that artifact is on another charachter does it?
And lastly I can clearly beat every content in the game anyway. 🤷🏽
How to get the JSON?
I've been playing since 1.0 but I will NOT be using the optimizer unless loadouts are made into a thing. So i guess never
How do you even set this up? I saw they used some kind of file to load it up automatically but idk how that works
I'm sure this is a good, informative video but uh, no thanks. I like having fun and keeping my sanity
Ill wait for the website version so i dont have to download 3rd party programs
It's literally a website, read the pinned comment.

3 minute guide on how to scan and import your artifacts: ua-cam.com/video/_qzzunuef4Y/v-deo.html&ab_channel=WSGenshin
Yes
For the last few months I have not been able to import my artifacts with AkashaScanner. Is there a scanner that still works?
The one on the site works
@@JelloImpact On the optimizer sight, when I click the "scanners" tab at the top of the page, there are 3 scanners shown. Which one works? Or is there one for the site I am missing? O.o
@@THESocialJusticeWarrior I've been using artiscan from the start, and it always works for me. Just did my last scan yesterday.
Rather than aiming for average damage, I prefer set the minimum crit rate value and see for highest damage.
My most with arle is only 160k+ dmg
unfortunately, the import of the artifacts to the tool via Artiscan doesn't work for me at all - I play on playstation and it seems the stats' scanner is shifted vertically, so the text recognition doesn't work. I changed the language to English (as a native German speaker, I usually play in German of corse), but this has no effect. Do anyone know any other method to get this tool working?
Hmm... I play on pc, but I what I do is:
-switch to controller to quickly go through all the artifacts in my bag while recording
-feed the video in artiscan and choose "scan as loot screen" (This seems to be the option if you scanned from the bag since the other one doesn't work for me.)
Sometimes there are errors when the video quality isn't up to par, but this method never failed for me.
Im confused what it does. So we load all info of our artifacts then it tells you what type artifacts we need to improve character stats?
From what it seems like, it takes into consideration the team composition & gives you an overall damage output based on the stats of the artifacts you have rather than being based on specific sets.
It takes the artifacts you have and then tells you the optimal build you can make with your artifacts.
@Feathertail2205 wow that explains alot thankyou.
All that work to get .5% better damage over just eyeballing it is not worth it.
i’m confused 😋
Is this even useful in any way? The game is already so easy to the point where the end game (especially the imaginerium theater) relies much more on the quantity rather than quality of your characters on the account. That's why instead of optimizing and min maxing my top characters I chose to only farm artifacts until an acceptable build with roughly 60/120 ratio on majority of the roaster, instead of trying to min max the top 8 who I always use in the abyss.
This is so complicated
Let me guess, if I don't show my characters' build in-game from my profile, then I cannot use this optimizer?
You can input manually it’s just more of a pain
For me is most convenient is to use artiscan tool, it scan them from your inventory video
This isn’t even true
@@Feathertail2205 yes, but i think if you’ve played the game for a year at least, you can easily spot “good” keeper artifacts
Shame on Jello for having resin capped!!! Shame!! For a video about an optimizer, that’s not very optimal! :-p

No gameplay for this info? I dont believe
From the comments it looks like it's not a thing for your audience
Your artifacts are wrong my xiao and ayaka with 270+Cd and 70+Cr with 2200+ attack
Maybe yes
if you have 270CD when you only have 70CR then yes your artifacts are wrong.
I've just given up with artifacts once they are OK. It's not worth the diminishing returns and effort when you don't really need them for the game.
You lost me at spelling Genshin optimizor.
Your life is wrong.
is there a way to import characters without a scanner cause I play on cloud and recording videos sucks cause of lag
You can input manually it’s just more of a pain
I have Gladiator's finale on Arlecchino with crit rate 20% & crit damage 204 % with Pyro damage bonus.
Ideally you're gonna want to look for a crit rate hat instead of crit dmg to balance out that lopsided ratio (so more like 50:140).
But if you don't have a decent one yet, you run with what you have I guess.
@@phoenixlauShe can do upto 100k damage with Furina coz I have both of their talents upgraded to lvl 9
@@damianellnoir9318 Your 204% crit damage doesn't do anything 80% of the time, that's A LOT of wasted stats you have there.

Optimizer is overrated, reasons:
It takes best artifacts, while you might want to use these on other characters and not take them off them
It looks at teamcomps. So 1 set might be considered best for 1 team but not others. Id much rather make a more universal set t hen box myself into 1 optimal restricted
At least until we get proper artifact load outs I'm not messing around with changing them when I want to switch out teams.
you can configure it to ignore characters and you can optomise for 1 character teams if you don't want to consider external buffs
You can check the option to not pick artifacts that are already equipped by others
@@101Mant Honestly, I tend to use the site as some sort of way to save artifact loadouts so I don't have to remember which ones to use whenever I swap the pieces around, since the site actually lets you save different loadouts.
You can set it up to optimize for a more universal build, you can also exclude artifact that are already used by other characters when optimizing.
Optimizers are a waste of time
first?
I honestly love the new feature where it suggests which artifact to level up for that small extra boost. Idk what magic calculation it does, but the rolls go to the right substats for like 80% of the time.
Also, I already know how to use the optimizer, but this still seems way too fast for a proper tutorial. So many things have been skipped. I can see jello's eyes darting all over and trying to keep up. 🥲
