Furina lets any DPS use this set and it gives a ridiculous amount of stats. Getting furina and farming this set is one of the most resin efficient thing you can do for your account these days.
My strategy is to farm artifacts but only look at their stats and level them on Sunday, that way, I only get my heart broken once a week instead of every day
My friends always joke that farming for artifacts is the "true Genshin experience". You can farm for anyone in less than a month, but artifacts is something you do for the rest of the game
aw yes when the dps artifacts keeps giving you hp and def rolls and upgrades and support/heal artifact keeps giving you crit damage and crit rate. And once you finally get the piece you wanted with full 4 sub stats the game decides mmmm let us give you most defense and one other stat upgrade you didn't need. 🥲

artifact grind is big pain. At least I got the artifacts that I need and I can just use those so I don't need to grind for artifacts anymore. No grinding artifacts means greater enjoyment.
Yup! I just went through my 500+ locked artifacts I’ve been saving since 1.2 when I first started, sifted through the sets I know I’ll never farm again (like crimson witch), and unlocked them so I have a stockpile to throw in the emblem box. It was nostalgic to see what I’ve been holding onto for so long, I basically kept an artifact of every mainstay for every set I owned. But as more sets release with designated 2pce bonuses (like def 30%) I can finally bin my def% glad pieces. Can’t wait for my new emblem pieces!

What's funny is that I tend to gravitate to characters who emblem is pretty well useless on lol. Not intentionally, it just happens. Like Itto, Cyno, Xiao, Yanfei. I like the characters whose bursts are a long-duration buff, rather than one big hit, or an AOE. Emblem is a great set but I struggle to find people who can benefit from it that I want to use lol.
i never understood Streamers/YTContentCreators saying the strongbox is a scam whatsoever. strongbox probably one of the best feature in the game, while burning your dead pieces you can potentially get a good-to-godtier pieces and at the same time clearing up your inventory.

Yeah, I immediately got good artifacts for yelan when I first got her. Got extremely lucky with strongbox, while grinding on domains on the otherhand... Keeps giving bad artifacts
There are also "artifact exp" routes out there that people can follow to collect a bunch of 1-2 star artifacts from the shiny spots around the overworld to better alleviate the EXP crunch, and that frees up more 5star artifacts for the strongbox. I never use a 5star artifact for EXP unless I decide to trash one that rolled badly in substats so I can get the EXP refunded.
I started doing this, not even full runs, just some places with 2-5 artifacts close together. A couple pins on the map and it's a pretty easy thing to do, usually every other day since lots take 24 hours to reset
Yup the routes are worth like 100 resin worth of exp (assuming gold foddered) per run. Insane advantage for building artifacts to ensure you can test out as many potential pieces.
After i built my core characters properly i started to love farming artifacts It feels so good when you improve the ones that you have, but, in fact, it is a pain if you dont have your mains minimally builded

5:20 I'm actually happy about a set like this. I've always wanted a 5* version of the Gambler's Set (increased Skill Dmg) for characters that are very "Skill(E)centric". I'm glad they've finally added one to the game. What was once my 4* Meme Build (for fun) can now become an actual very potent 5* build for some characters. (Fischl, Yae, Nahida, Heizou quickswap, Albedo come to mind for now depending on their playstyle).
Honestly, this is the most useful artifact guide I've ever come across. I have been playing for an entire year now and I'm AR 57 with many characters and no idea what stats each one needs in my teams. Thank you so much!
Thanks for the video! I like how you weren't too precious about artifacts or resin. People get burned out on Genshin by trying to get perfect artifacts. I say don't bother. You can complete all content with just okay artifacts, easy. This is a great guide to learn all you really need to know, nice work!
I rarely use fragiles for artifacts, and use it mostly for boss mats, and talents. Whenever I want to have something sooner, than later. Whatever you spend it on isn't really "wasting" it as all resin are equivalent, and whatever artifacts stat you roll are independent from each other.
I've honestly never felt like using fragile resin on anything other than artifacts. I dunno, I guess with most things the finite need makes it feel like it's better to just wait until tomorrow.
Something I wanna comment: The 1:2 crit ratio does NOT apply if crit rate is below 50 (buffs included) Because if you have below 50% crit rate, you're basically missing half your crits. Meaning half your crit damage is rendered useless. I usually aim for at least 60-70% crit rate before I look at crit damage myself. Cause really, it doesn't matter if you have 300% Crit damage if you have like 20% critrate, cause you're not gonna be critting at all ahah
Honestly speaking, the new fontaine artifact domain that comes out in 4.0 is CRACKED and that would be am understatement. There are and will be many characters whose E (skill) would be the main damage source. And for most f2p players like me, building crit focused dps characters was a real pain (i had to do with 50:130 around crit ratio for diluc and ganyu in my early days (past ar45)) because there aren't f2p weapons that could be a stat stick for crit values. The marechaussee set makes it wayyy effing easier for crit focused builds, and the hp change condition will be erradicated when focalor drops. Like some fontaine characters will have to trade their health for dmg boost and also healing ability (like hu tao's kit) i believe that hydro archon will trade teammates hp for dmg boost and it will be gradual (because archons are typically the better version of traveller of that element).
As a new player, I'm beginning to understand artifact struggle. I got a husk goblet the other day with electro damage. Substats were crit rate and crit damage. I mean it's a 5-star, so I'm keeping it, but ... yeah. Wish I'd gotten that in the thunder domain.
A lotttttt of people use the off-piece as the elemental dmg goblet, so I’d say go ahead and lock it/ upgrade it. Ur other 4 though will have to be from grinding thundering fury
Same thing happened to me, I got an electro goblet with Crit Rate, and Dmg. Also EM and ER, it’s my best artifact ever, but it’s on the Dendro set lol.
For fragile reason: I like to save up a stack for new characters who require mats that cannot be prefarmed (e.g. when they release alongside a new boss or an entire new region). If you are like me, you want to play with your new character at a reasonable power level as soon as possible.
I do hate the word "challenge" for something that it's out of your control. RNG in this game is just bull and MiHoYo don't give us a in bulk spend resin system, like in HSR or PGR. I love you channel. 🥰

@@mangshu21 Resin slider. l looked for the "excess" word and I didn't find it. In HSR you'll set you team for autoruns based on the amout of resin selected (for exp, credit and traces resources). As for artifact farming in HSR, you don't have the same QoL as in basic resources farm, but since it has a auto combat system, it's passable. In PGR, you each run is like 30 resin. You can slide to 120 and get rewards according to the amount selected in a single run; in other contents you also have an "auto-clear", where you just "trade" the amount of energy you want and get rewards, without the need for manual play. In Genshin you need to run around chasing lay lines 8x, rerun domains 8x or kill field bosses 4x. It was fun during first year, but it's not fun anymore 3 year down the road. Would be great to clear a single lay line and use all resin in a single flower to collect rewards accondingly, same for domains and field bosses. Not to say the disgusting carpal tunner syndromer key tapping to get things from the floor... Just make drops and chest items go directly to your inventory already! 3 YEARS! I should note: salvaging artifacts in HSR gives you an exp equivalent item, avoiding the need to increase artifacts bag slots, which they announced they would do in Genshin for 4.0... Why all good QoL gathered from Genshin's feedback goes to other titles and not to Genshin? Simple but worthy QoL chances that should've been there since launch.
I think it would be good to preface the 2:1 golden ratio with that it's not always true, if your unit is a support with a favonius weapon they care almost exclusively about the crit rate, and if your final build has less than maybe 40 crit rate then it's barely worth investing to crit at all until you get better pieces in the future. Just building attack and EM is fine early on.
I'm also at the point where a good artifact is just a bonus since I go weeks-months before even getting a potential upgrade. What I really need is XP cuz I got over 200 untested artifacts with potential
I only own around 200 artifacts.😂 it was only 150 at one point recently. My brother has the opposite problem- “No space in artifact inventory”. Yeaaaah I might be a high AR but u can tell who’s played the game for years vs just months.
For people worrying about exp, trust me, you will get a ton of them, the emblem on exchanger is one of the feature I hope gets updated and it did, like me I focus farming the dendro artifact, with the intro of 4.0 I am now focusing the new domain and make a weekly exchange for paleflame set, and I was able to get a better pale feather within less than 2 weeks, once I get better of the rest, Ima shift it back to either emblem or echo, there is no point in getting emblem on exchanger except if most your chars can utilize those 2 set, then go crazy and spam the hell out of emblem, remember.

Well technically you still have to farm artifact to trade to that specific artifact you want. Also one of these days they need to add way to trade boss material for capping character level.

@@JelloImpact when you don't want to wait forever for original resin to refresh, it's only reasonable to use fragile resin. Ascension mats are guaranteed and won't be a total waste compared to farming artifacts. Other mats such as expe and mora are available by other means (shop and teapot).
My strategy (as someone who has almost everyone I want built with good artifacts, just not lved) is to first ask any of my friends if they need help, and then just use those fodder and strongbox any bad 5*s, maybe keep a couple if I'm lucky. If no one needs help, I will just choose one character who needs a better artifact, or chose whatever domain is easiest to farm, then do the same as before. Still spread out thin, cause I'm an idiot, but people are strong, and slowly getting better
This video is incredibly valuable. As one of those people who has rarely gotten a good artifact, with those few times getting a good artifact being spoiled by rolls that are statistically the unluckiest thing one could think of (rolling 5 of 5 into flat hp, flat attack or em on multiple husk pieces with Crit rate crit damage, and def%) there needs to be some form of rework on the artifact system. Rng on top of Rng on top of Rng on top of RNG ON TOP OF RNG ON TOP OF RNG ... *takes deep breath* on top of Rng, umm *counts on fingers* ahh on top of Rng is an impossible way to guarantee any form of progression. Its a 1 out of 350880 chance to get an artifact with perfect the main and sub stats a player wants and that's before rolling into the artifacts themselves. I haven't had any sense of progression in the game since I leveled my first character to level 90. I'm in the endgame and I cant get get past the endgame content because I'm blocked by a wall of Rng with a limited amount of chances a day to climb a single rung of a ladder to get over it.
As a complacent completionist, I did give up on caring about every character. Even tho everyone says you can make any team work I just couldn’t so I decided I’ll make a team of nukes just so when someone on the team dies don’t need to care. It’s such a slow start since I basically decided to restart completely but I finally feel like I’m having fun. Very slow ramp up speed but I can rlly see the results because I don’t have to build multiple teams only between like 10 or so characters so I see things improve even at c0. It’s only so hard cuz I’m f2p n jus didn’t know what I was doing or wanted to do for so long but once I get the constellations I need (cuz ppl like hu tao don’t need c6) I’ll finally have fun blowing away the abyss😈
Finally Emblem will be in strong box. I keep getting shimenawa like 80% all the time. Farming Emblem for so many characters has been painful. Instead my Yoimiya ended up being cracked. 😂

I like farming artifacts but that's only when I'm just doing it just to do it not when I'm building a specific character like I'll just randomly do a artifact run just because I enjoy it and 5/10 I'll get a good piece
14:33 “I didn’t go in there and stay in there until I had those crazy good builds” …… I did exactly that on the VV domain the instant I got kazuha bc I was very excited to try him out as soon as humanly possible. About 3 weeks later, his build is nearly perfected; now I can leave him alone and focus on my other chars. Granted it’s not PERFECT to my standards, but his EM is 874 (lv80/80 & talents 6/7/7) and I even got a 33/70 crit ratio & 135% ER from just sub stats which is good enough for my uses. 4-pc VV with glad goblet off piece, all +20. I’m totally fine with hyperfocusing on one specific artifact set. Cuz now, I’m happy with it and I can focus on slowly building everyone else until I feel like revisiting VV. Also idk abt u guys but i WILL be camping out in the new Fontaine domain bc i AM getting Lyney, and my Fischl would love the other new set as well; she’s been stuck on a scuffed 2-pc berserkers/ 2-pc wanderer’s troupe and I really would just like to get her 4-pc Thundering or smth but haven’t had the extra time for her. So this is great news for me, tbh.
It took me -+2 years to get a proper electro db goblet, but its only take me a couple of week to get a full crack set of emblem just before raiden release, this game really harsh sometimes. And now i'm struggling with getting a goo ATK% sands...
Especially when you want every character as a low spender. The amount of mediocre build I have because I have to pause farming artifacts to level up a new character is astounding.
Bruh I got sooooo lucky with my strong box artifacts. I literally built my yelan from there and didn’t even need to go to the domain. She’s currently 67/226. I kinda got lucky with my ayaka too but she still has room to improvement lol

Yeah, I'm currently making a team with Neuvillette and Fischl. Neuvillette needs to the Marechaussee Hunter set, and Fischl needs the Golden Troupe, so I'm using one domain to farm for two characters at once.
Best of luck with that, mate. Personally, the Marechaussee Hunter/Golden Troupe domain is my worst nightmare artifacts wise. The construction mek is a serious damage sponge, and the two meks after it aren't much better.
My experience with the strongbox is mixed. I got one of my best pieces from it, but at the same time it made me very slow at leveling up potentially good artifacts and so I collected more and more really promising artifacts. Now I stopped with the strongbox and oh boy, I am so much faster in leveling artifacts and they are just relly good. Once in a while you have to asses your situation and think what's more beneficial to you.
I somewhat agree. Somewhat because i love the whole rpg experience, but now that im in the endgame i enjoy that slow grind of watching my characters get stronger. I dont think i'll ever pre farm for anyone because it'll destroy that experience for me. But also, it doesnt really matter to min max characters either to be the best of the best, if they're strong enough i'll leave them there even though i know i can endlessly grind more for them. I'm definitely enjoying this experience to instead raise other characters i think can be fun even if they're not meta.

I just got a double crit, flat attack, physical damage Pale Flame goblet for my Eula this morning. It got HP% as the 4th stat, but then I rolled crit damage for every upgrade. 40.4 CV 😂
The funny thing is that the artifacts i farm have less likely a chance of getting important stats depending on which character i'm using to build them. For instance, building a Kokomi is almost guaranteed to pick up both crit rate and crit dmg in the random stats then upgrading her artifacts. I've yet to test this in earnest, but I'm considering a "reverse psychology" approach: take artifacts designed for dps, put them on Kokomi, build them, then swap them back. Those "bad roles" for Koko could pay back in full as prime DPS material elsewhere if my theory is correct.
I like to get my artifacts for feeding the strongbox from killing bosses for leveling characters. This way I am guaranteeing an outcome(leveling the character) and I have insurance that can possibly be a huge windfall in getting a 4 stat double crit piece from the strongbox.
like most important is to upgrade the guaranteed stuff first, like character ascension and talents. once you have upgraded them and gotten last ascension, you can then farm artifacts. like normally, i never use resin on exp books and mora, because throughout the time, you will accumulate so much books and mora from doing events and exploration. i also noticed that so many ppl lvl literally every single character in the game when they dont need to, they dont focus on 4-8 characters. once you have played for a while, you will have enough characters that you can play multiple different teams. at this point i dont need to lvl characters or talents cuz my fave characters are all tripple crowned so all i can do is to farm artifacts for my mains and min max them as much as i can and i have 1 full team of characters where i cant really get any upgrades and the other team have a few pieces that can get upgraded a little bit and i have tons of other 5 stars that have good gear, could been better, but its still good cuz those pieces are very universal that work on many characters. always focus on those sets that will benefit most of your characters before going for something only 1 of your character needs
I just finished otherwise building the characters I want to use, so it is artifact farming time! Most of my new characters and some of my old would love either Golden Troupe or Marechausse Hunter, but I also have many Emblem of Severed Fate characters that have too suboptimal sets, so I am going to farm Marechausse/Golden Troupe domain and box the useless ones into Emblems. That way my new characters will eventually have good sets and meanwhile my emblem characters get better little by little.
What are these different teams? How do you determine what sets are good for a specific character? How do you determine if the stats on a gear piece from a set are good or not? I’m hearing a bunch of information in the beginning of this video but without the advanced knowledge like he has I won’t be able to make sense of what he is saying to do.
I just get good enough artifacts and focus on leveling characters. After I build the top 4 characters in each element I’ll vertically build characters.
I swear, these people with like a SHIT TON of 5 star EVERYTHING must not have a life. Because i have been playing Genshin since DAY ONE release and i have NO WHERE NEAR that many itsm, my characters are NOT max level, my artifacts are NOT max level and my weapons are NOT max level. Hell i MIGHT have 15 5 star artifacts in TOTAL and like MAYBE 5 five star weapons. So i REALLY dont understand HOW these people have so many 5 star everything and NOT be people who sit there, play Genshin for TENS of hours a day AND spend HUNDREDS of dollars a week on the game.
It is indeed challenging to get good ones. But a mixed set with right stats is better than best set with wrong stats. If the BIS set has good main stats, you're good enough and can farm seldomly to see if you can upgrade to better ones.
For a full decent set it could take 20 or 300 condensed resin per domain. Pure RNG experience it just matters how long the luck will allow You to get those stats. As for strongblox I never uset it even though I play from the start. I have too much decent artifacts that are needed to check to +4 or go to +20, I farmed almost all domains in the game and have at least 1 full decent set for many different teams. The pain is enchanting these artifacts, not because the rolls go into bad stats, but the EXP to upgrade to +20 artifact and the resin limit allows You to max at max 4 artifacts to +20 during 1 week. From getting all artifacts just as exp for 160 resin per day, count 4 condensed per day on artifacts. Let's say You play 15-30 minutes per day. If you do route map for artifact grinding every day this means being a hardcore player :P And strongbox means loosing artifact EXP and gambling just to get some potencial super pieces to upgrade. But from playing for long time I can say that having like 300 artifacts with insane potential waiting to be enhanced is something normal.
Im surprised they didn’t make another artifact set for Furina, but I’m guessing the next sets are coming in 4.3 or 4.4 with navia because there’s no artifact to help her really in Fontaine
I used to farm emblem for my raiden. And shimenawa is not bad. I used shimenawa on hu tao and ayato, later replacing hu tao's shimenawa with cwof from strongbox and giving her old shimenawa's 2 set to ningguang and 2 set to keqing. And emblem set is the best, like xingqiu, yelan, xianging, beidou, rozaria.. like almost every sub-dps uses that artifact.

Yeah, I immediately got good artifacts for yelan when I first got her. Got extremely lucky with strongbox, while grinding on domains on the otherhand... Keeps giving bad artifacts
There are also "artifact exp" routes out there that people can follow to collect a bunch of 1-2 star artifacts from the shiny spots around the overworld to better alleviate the EXP crunch, and that frees up more 5star artifacts for the strongbox. I never use a 5star artifact for EXP unless I decide to trash one that rolled badly in substats so I can get the EXP refunded.

I started doing this, not even full runs, just some places with 2-5 artifacts close together. A couple pins on the map and it's a pretty easy thing to do, usually every other day since lots take 24 hours to reset

Yup the routes are worth like 100 resin worth of exp (assuming gold foddered) per run. Insane advantage for building artifacts to ensure you can test out as many potential pieces.

5:20 I'm actually happy about a set like this. I've always wanted a 5* version of the Gambler's Set (increased Skill Dmg) for characters that are very "Skill(E)centric".
I'm glad they've finally added one to the game.
What was once my 4* Meme Build (for fun) can now become an actual very potent 5* build for some characters.
(Fischl, Yae, Nahida, Heizou quickswap, Albedo come to mind for now depending on their playstyle).

Thanks for the video! I like how you weren't too precious about artifacts or resin. People get burned out on Genshin by trying to get perfect artifacts. I say don't bother. You can complete all content with just okay artifacts, easy. This is a great guide to learn all you really need to know, nice work!
I rarely use fragiles for artifacts, and use it mostly for boss mats, and talents. Whenever I want to have something sooner, than later. Whatever you spend it on isn't really "wasting" it as all resin are equivalent, and whatever artifacts stat you roll are independent from each other.
I've honestly never felt like using fragile resin on anything other than artifacts. I dunno, I guess with most things the finite need makes it feel like it's better to just wait until tomorrow.
Something I wanna comment:
The 1:2 crit ratio does NOT apply if crit rate is below 50 (buffs included)
Because if you have below 50% crit rate, you're basically missing half your crits. Meaning half your crit damage is rendered useless.
I usually aim for at least 60-70% crit rate before I look at crit damage myself.
Cause really, it doesn't matter if you have 300% Crit damage if you have like 20% critrate, cause you're not gonna be critting at all ahah

1:2 remains best dps in any case. And tbh if you can't reach 50cr while retaining 1:2, you just have plain bad artis and should keep farming

Honestly speaking, the new fontaine artifact domain that comes out in 4.0 is CRACKED and that would be am understatement.
There are and will be many characters whose E (skill) would be the main damage source.
And for most f2p players like me, building crit focused dps characters was a real pain (i had to do with 50:130 around crit ratio for diluc and ganyu in my early days (past ar45)) because there aren't f2p weapons that could be a stat stick for crit values.
The marechaussee set makes it wayyy effing easier for crit focused builds, and the hp change condition will be erradicated when focalor drops. Like some fontaine characters will have to trade their health for dmg boost and also healing ability (like hu tao's kit) i believe that hydro archon will trade teammates hp for dmg boost and it will be gradual (because archons are typically the better version of traveller of that element).
I think we need 5.0 before the artifact strongbox becomes complete cuz we still need one for dendro pieces on it.
As a new player, I'm beginning to understand artifact struggle. I got a husk goblet the other day with electro damage. Substats were crit rate and crit damage. I mean it's a 5-star, so I'm keeping it, but ... yeah. Wish I'd gotten that in the thunder domain.

A lotttttt of people use the off-piece as the elemental dmg goblet, so I’d say go ahead and lock it/ upgrade it. Ur other 4 though will have to be from grinding thundering fury
Same thing happened to me, I got an electro goblet with Crit Rate, and Dmg. Also EM and ER, it’s my best artifact ever, but it’s on the Dendro set lol.
For fragile reason: I like to save up a stack for new characters who require mats that cannot be prefarmed (e.g. when they release alongside a new boss or an entire new region). If you are like me, you want to play with your new character at a reasonable power level as soon as possible.
Golden troupe will be such a good set, 2 piece can slot into pretty much every damage dealer that doesnt need a 4 piece set
I do hate the word "challenge" for something that it's out of your control. RNG in this game is just bull and MiHoYo don't give us a in bulk spend resin system, like in HSR or PGR.

In HSR you'll set you team for autoruns based on the amout of resin selected (for exp, credit and traces resources). As for artifact farming in HSR, you don't have the same QoL as in basic resources farm, but since it has a auto combat system, it's passable.
In PGR, you each run is like 30 resin. You can slide to 120 and get rewards according to the amount selected in a single run; in other contents you also have an "auto-clear", where you just "trade" the amount of energy you want and get rewards, without the need for manual play.
In Genshin you need to run around chasing lay lines 8x, rerun domains 8x or kill field bosses 4x. It was fun during first year, but it's not fun anymore 3 year down the road. Would be great to clear a single lay line and use all resin in a single flower to collect rewards accondingly, same for domains and field bosses. Not to say the disgusting carpal tunner syndromer key tapping to get things from the floor... Just make drops and chest items go directly to your inventory already! 3 YEARS!
I should note: salvaging artifacts in HSR gives you an exp equivalent item, avoiding the need to increase artifacts bag slots, which they announced they would do in Genshin for 4.0... Why all good QoL gathered from Genshin's feedback goes to other titles and not to Genshin?

I think it would be good to preface the 2:1 golden ratio with that it's not always true, if your unit is a support with a favonius weapon they care almost exclusively about the crit rate, and if your final build has less than maybe 40 crit rate then it's barely worth investing to crit at all until you get better pieces in the future. Just building attack and EM is fine early on.

For people worrying about exp, trust me, you will get a ton of them, the emblem on exchanger is one of the feature I hope gets updated and it did, like me I focus farming the dendro artifact, with the intro of 4.0 I am now focusing the new domain and make a weekly exchange for paleflame set, and I was able to get a better pale feather within less than 2 weeks, once I get better of the rest, Ima shift it back to either emblem or echo, there is no point in getting emblem on exchanger except if most your chars can utilize those 2 set, then go crazy and spam the hell out of emblem, remember.

@@JelloImpact when you don't want to wait forever for original resin to refresh, it's only reasonable to use fragile resin. Ascension mats are guaranteed and won't be a total waste compared to farming artifacts. Other mats such as expe and mora are available by other means (shop and teapot).
My strategy (as someone who has almost everyone I want built with good artifacts, just not lved) is to first ask any of my friends if they need help, and then just use those fodder and strongbox any bad 5*s, maybe keep a couple if I'm lucky.
If no one needs help, I will just choose one character who needs a better artifact, or chose whatever domain is easiest to farm, then do the same as before.
Still spread out thin, cause I'm an idiot, but people are strong, and slowly getting better
Since 4.0 dropped I've been spending almost all my resin on farming *and* strongboxing Emblem, because I have like 8 different characters that use it.
This video is incredibly valuable. As one of those people who has rarely gotten a good artifact, with those few times getting a good artifact being spoiled by rolls that are statistically the unluckiest thing one could think of (rolling 5 of 5 into flat hp, flat attack or em on multiple husk pieces with Crit rate crit damage, and def%) there needs to be some form of rework on the artifact system. Rng on top of Rng on top of Rng on top of RNG ON TOP OF RNG ON TOP OF RNG ... *takes deep breath* on top of Rng, umm *counts on fingers* ahh on top of Rng is an impossible way to guarantee any form of progression. Its a 1 out of 350880 chance to get an artifact with perfect the main and sub stats a player wants and that's before rolling into the artifacts themselves. I haven't had any sense of progression in the game since I leveled my first character to level 90. I'm in the endgame and I cant get get past the endgame content because I'm blocked by a wall of Rng with a limited amount of chances a day to climb a single rung of a ladder to get over it.
As a complacent completionist, I did give up on caring about every character. Even tho everyone says you can make any team work I just couldn’t so I decided I’ll make a team of nukes just so when someone on the team dies don’t need to care. It’s such a slow start since I basically decided to restart completely but I finally feel like I’m having fun. Very slow ramp up speed but I can rlly see the results because I don’t have to build multiple teams only between like 10 or so characters so I see things improve even at c0. It’s only so hard cuz I’m f2p n jus didn’t know what I was doing or wanted to do for so long but once I get the constellations I need (cuz ppl like hu tao don’t need c6) I’ll finally have fun blowing away the abyss😈
Finally Emblem will be in strong box. I keep getting shimenawa like 80% all the time. Farming Emblem for so many characters has been painful. Instead my Yoimiya ended up being cracked. 😂

I like farming artifacts but that's only when I'm just doing it just to do it not when I'm building a specific character like I'll just randomly do a artifact run just because I enjoy it and 5/10 I'll get a good piece
14:33 “I didn’t go in there and stay in there until I had those crazy good builds” …… I did exactly that on the VV domain the instant I got kazuha bc I was very excited to try him out as soon as humanly possible. About 3 weeks later, his build is nearly perfected; now I can leave him alone and focus on my other chars. Granted it’s not PERFECT to my standards, but his EM is 874 (lv80/80 & talents 6/7/7) and I even got a 33/70 crit ratio & 135% ER from just sub stats which is good enough for my uses. 4-pc VV with glad goblet off piece, all +20.
I’m totally fine with hyperfocusing on one specific artifact set. Cuz now, I’m happy with it and I can focus on slowly building everyone else until I feel like revisiting VV.
Also idk abt u guys but i WILL be camping out in the new Fontaine domain bc i AM getting Lyney, and my Fischl would love the other new set as well; she’s been stuck on a scuffed 2-pc berserkers/ 2-pc wanderer’s troupe and I really would just like to get her 4-pc Thundering or smth but haven’t had the extra time for her. So this is great news for me, tbh.

Kinda stopped grinding artifacts. I was capped with 1503/1500 artifacts and it became pain. Luckily FINALLY raised the cap to 1800.
It took me -+2 years to get a proper electro db goblet, but its only take me a couple of week to get a full crack set of emblem just before raiden release, this game really harsh sometimes.
And now i'm struggling with getting a goo ATK% sands...

Bruh I got sooooo lucky with my strong box artifacts. I literally built my yelan from there and didn’t even need to go to the domain. She’s currently 67/226. I kinda got lucky with my ayaka too but she still has room to improvement lol

Yeah, I'm currently making a team with Neuvillette and Fischl. Neuvillette needs to the Marechaussee Hunter set, and Fischl needs the Golden Troupe, so I'm using one domain to farm for two characters at once.
Best of luck with that, mate. Personally, the Marechaussee Hunter/Golden Troupe domain is my worst nightmare artifacts wise. The construction mek is a serious damage sponge, and the two meks after it aren't much better.

My experience with the strongbox is mixed. I got one of my best pieces from it, but at the same time it made me very slow at leveling up potentially good artifacts and so I collected more and more really promising artifacts. Now I stopped with the strongbox and oh boy, I am so much faster in leveling artifacts and they are just relly good. Once in a while you have to asses your situation and think what's more beneficial to you.
I may be soon be able to start playing the game for the first time, and artefacts and resin blocking your activities so fast are really scary...
haven't watch the full vids yet, but i think this guy will reveal my trick on farming artifacts

I used all my fragile resins when I reached AR 55 in the deepwood/gilded domain.
For me questing is the most painful part of genshin, artifact farming, character building, and combat is my favorite.
I somewhat agree. Somewhat because i love the whole rpg experience, but now that im in the endgame i enjoy that slow grind of watching my characters get stronger. I dont think i'll ever pre farm for anyone because it'll destroy that experience for me. But also, it doesnt really matter to min max characters either to be the best of the best, if they're strong enough i'll leave them there even though i know i can endlessly grind more for them. I'm definitely enjoying this experience to instead raise other characters i think can be fun even if they're not meta.

I’m also doing that in my own way by playing around with weird teams or trying a new char I haven’t touched in a while just to see how fun the play style is. (I’ve played the game since April this year so not a Veteran by any means but I got my AR high pretty rapidly)
The best advice I can give is to play with the dialogue in Japanese because Paimon is less annoying.

I just got a double crit, flat attack, physical damage Pale Flame goblet for my Eula this morning. It got HP% as the 4th stat, but then I rolled crit damage for every upgrade. 40.4 CV 😂

I’m determined to build all the characters I have and everyone says that’s insane.
The funny thing is that the artifacts i farm have less likely a chance of getting important stats depending on which character i'm using to build them. For instance, building a Kokomi is almost guaranteed to pick up both crit rate and crit dmg in the random stats then upgrading her artifacts.
I've yet to test this in earnest, but I'm considering a "reverse psychology" approach: take artifacts designed for dps, put them on Kokomi, build them, then swap them back. Those "bad roles" for Koko could pay back in full as prime DPS material elsewhere if my theory is correct.
I like to get my artifacts for feeding the strongbox from killing bosses for leveling characters. This way I am guaranteeing an outcome(leveling the character) and I have insurance that can possibly be a huge windfall in getting a 4 stat double crit piece from the strongbox.
I recommend Ayaka with Gladiator, it's very good on her!
like most important is to upgrade the guaranteed stuff first, like character ascension and talents. once you have upgraded them and gotten last ascension, you can then farm artifacts. like normally, i never use resin on exp books and mora, because throughout the time, you will accumulate so much books and mora from doing events and exploration. i also noticed that so many ppl lvl literally every single character in the game when they dont need to, they dont focus on 4-8 characters. once you have played for a while, you will have enough characters that you can play multiple different teams. at this point i dont need to lvl characters or talents cuz my fave characters are all tripple crowned so all i can do is to farm artifacts for my mains and min max them as much as i can and i have 1 full team of characters where i cant really get any upgrades and the other team have a few pieces that can get upgraded a little bit and i have tons of other 5 stars that have good gear, could been better, but its still good cuz those pieces are very universal that work on many characters. always focus on those sets that will benefit most of your characters before going for something only 1 of your character needs

I just finished otherwise building the characters I want to use, so it is artifact farming time! Most of my new characters and some of my old would love either Golden Troupe or Marechausse Hunter, but I also have many Emblem of Severed Fate characters that have too suboptimal sets, so I am going to farm Marechausse/Golden Troupe domain and box the useless ones into Emblems. That way my new characters will eventually have good sets and meanwhile my emblem characters get better little by little.
Strongbox update is based! Time to leave the cursed Emblem domain. The emblem purgatory ends my friends, rejoyce!

How do you determine if the stats on a gear piece from a set are good or not?

maybe you can put a good single goblet Gladiator or Wanderer since you are more likely to have an elemental damage bonus one for that as a beginner
I swear, these people with like a SHIT TON of 5 star EVERYTHING must not have a life. Because i have been playing Genshin since DAY ONE release and i have NO WHERE NEAR that many itsm, my characters are NOT max level, my artifacts are NOT max level and my weapons are NOT max level. Hell i MIGHT have 15 5 star artifacts in TOTAL and like MAYBE 5 five star weapons. So i REALLY dont understand HOW these people have so many 5 star everything and NOT be people who sit there, play Genshin for TENS of hours a day AND spend HUNDREDS of dollars a week on the game.

It is indeed challenging to get good ones. But a mixed set with right stats is better than best set with wrong stats.
If the BIS set has good main stats, you're good enough and can farm seldomly to see if you can upgrade to better ones.
For a full decent set it could take 20 or 300 condensed resin per domain. Pure RNG experience it just matters how long the luck will allow You to get those stats. As for strongblox I never uset it even though I play from the start. I have too much decent artifacts that are needed to check to +4 or go to +20, I farmed almost all domains in the game and have at least 1 full decent set for many different teams. The pain is enchanting these artifacts, not because the rolls go into bad stats, but the EXP to upgrade to +20 artifact and the resin limit allows You to max at max 4 artifacts to +20 during 1 week. From getting all artifacts just as exp for 160 resin per day, count 4 condensed per day on artifacts. Let's say You play 15-30 minutes per day. If you do route map for artifact grinding every day this means being a hardcore player :P And strongbox means loosing artifact EXP and gambling just to get some potencial super pieces to upgrade. But from playing for long time I can say that having like 300 artifacts with insane potential waiting to be enhanced is something normal.

I used to farm emblem for my raiden. And shimenawa is not bad. I used shimenawa on hu tao and ayato, later replacing hu tao's shimenawa with cwof from strongbox and giving her old shimenawa's 2 set to ningguang and 2 set to keqing. And emblem set is the best, like xingqiu, yelan, xianging, beidou, rozaria.. like almost every sub-dps uses that artifact.
