My dad has a restored 35 Ford truck just like that, it’s even painted the same color, it’s not all original, but it’s pretty cool... Beautiful truck, love it. 👍🏻
I would take the 1935 Ford Truck Over the 2022 any day. So 30 Years from now the 2022 Ford will be in the junkyard and the 1935 will be sitting proudly in a collectors garage as a masterpiece of Art Deco design.
First of all, the 1935 engine is not a 100 hp engine, it was less than 85 hp, and it is not a 239. there is no plastic gear in the engine, don't know what you are talking about when you say spur gear. The camshaft gear is a fiber gear, however. It is a very nice truck .
Hi Cal - great comment and thanks for watching and commenting. To be more clear, this example has the 1939 239 95hp engine. I do over rate it to 100hp in my commenting. Nice catch. The camshaft's spur gear was/is made of plastic. Always like a gear head conversation!
I have a 36 with correct 221 engine wide 5 wheels .otherwise similar . My engine was rebuilt never fired till I got it. Was restored in collection for 20 years. Runs beautifully. I'm not sure if it's babbitt or an L B block with main bearing shells. Mine is solid as new with steel fenders. Love it
Hi this is a 21 stud 221 ci correct style for 35. 36 looked same. Babbitt main bearing s in 32 to36 except some late 36 stamed LB would look same but updated to main bearing shells
@@tedhewitson823 great comment. The owner’s placard listed 239. Given your comment I looked up 39 studs and there may be more. I will reply with what the owner says. Thx for viewing, commenting, and subscribing.
