Nice to see you are letting the old girl age gracefully, she's not one for lipstick, just clean out the arteries and she's ready to dance some more. Great display of old school radiator know how.
It's great to see your skills in action! Not many craftsmen are doing these old radiators any more. We need guys like you out there!
Total work of art my man.... my Dad started with one of these roadsters ran moonshine from Kentucky to Georgia in the 30s he was 16 years old , he said he had to feed the entire family somehow , then he got a 32 Coupe , made enough money to pay cash for brand new 1934. He drove the 1934 to Cincinnati and got a real job....
It's like watching a skilled artist at work on a fine painting. Can see you love what you do, and cherish the history of these glorious old cars.
such a joy to see someone that knows how to Recore a radiator the correct way
It’s so wonderful to see how lovely life was back in the day.
Really neat that they want to keep it the way his grandfather liked. Lots of respect and great family values right there🙂
Wow, I have never watched anyone rebuild a radiator before. Very interesting to watch !! Happy to see what good care you take of this old truck.
Father and son working on this pickup, just like father and son did back in the day. As it should be. Grandpa is smiling big saying those are my boys.
Love you're keeping granddad's tradition alive. Love it when there's a lot of "patina" remaining on an old vehicle.
I have my Dad's 1931 Coupe that he purchased and did a "driveway" restoration in 1965 and sold to me for $1 in 2014 before he passed away in 2016. He did install a reproduction radiator back in the late 1980's and it's still working good.. He taught me a lot about the Model A.. Good to see a Dad and son video working on grandpa's Model A!! Thanx for showing what it takes to re-core a Model A radiator.
Do you have a video of your cars
Beauty of a truck & great to see the skills for a radiator being rebuilt :)
Please double clutch a Model A. Especially if you are down shifting to low gear. Never speed shift, just gently move shift lever to each gear. That pickup is absolutely beautiful! You did an outstanding job on the radiator.
That was the car of my dreams.
There was one parked in a shed down the street from where I grew up. I saw a 1937 Ford Roadster pickup-, one of a kind.
The skill of the radiator repair man is a pleasure to behold.
Never stop showing us these old trucks and cars !!
Thank you for the video . I turned 70 in early June and that was the first time I ever saw a record radiator process . I just subscribed and I'll be back !!
felicitation pour ce magnifique travail d'orfèvre ,bravo!! 🛠👌🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🏅🏅🏅,tres belle region, belle music, vous avez une trés belle Ford très cool😎... tank you very much for the partage...
I bet Grandpa is looking down and has a huge smile and sense of pride watching “his boys” carry on with his legacy! Nothing makes you feel as good as being caretaker of a sentimental family heirloom. May you have best of luck in keeping her going like grandpa did!!
Love It, I've been Hunting one of These For YEARS, very Cool to see one running and Driving
That was probably the best video I’ve seen all week! Thanks guys.
Thanks!
Thanks for bringing us along on the ride! You are the guys to keep her running! Love that shotgun as and the ropes behind the bumper. I just subscribed!! 🎩🇺🇸🎩🇺🇸🎩

Your vid just came up out of no where, so glad it did… watch the hole thing… love the model A Ford… nice to see a survivor still on the road.
Had to see it to believe it. Dead car back to life!❤️
That motor had a distinctive rattle sound I’ll never forget... I hear it in my mind now..
This popped up on my feed, and I gave it a look. You got me all enthusiastic about getting my two As out again, that I've been neglecting a bit. I'm a subscriber now.
Thanks for watching!
Ll
I helped my boss restore his 28 roadster pickup in the 80s. Vary cool ride. We also did his number 13 55 thunderbird. Fun times.
Absolutely time travel to go for a ride in this beaut!
Lordy I do love the sound of a Model A, one day I'll find me one.
You did a very nice job on that old radiator, I have a 31 coupe which I had to soak the radiator all week-end to get it clean.Good video - thank you
OMG! I am in love with this 93 year old rare gem. And can't believe it runs this great. What a great find. I would replace the interior and leave the original patena...
Very nice , great job on the rad .
You do a dandy job on a radiator, but oh my ! You need some schoolin’ on shifting the ole girl! I drove all kinds of A-bones growing up, even plowed snow with a cut-down for many years and I never made that many nasty sounds when shifting!
Good job on keeping your faithful A cool! Enjoy!
it is good to see a craftsmen at work .
Very cool you boy's are good at your craft thanks for sharing!👍👍👌✝️🙏
It looked like village social event showing off the new radiator, great video
Excellent work on pop’s radiator! He would be proud that you’re taking good care of her.. you got a new subscriber..
me 2......was amazed at the start up....cant wait for the rest of the restoration.....be safe..
My uncle has a few model A's and a model T in different conditions some have been restored and others are all original and we go driving every sunday when it's nice out. The hardest car to learn to drive was the model T if you never drove one before it's totally different then a normal car and even the Model A's
When I see something like this pickup it just makes me want to cry.
Nice old Model A. Love the look.
A wonderful car. Grandpa would be proud of the newly recorded radiator. You need to learn how to double clutch so that the gears don’t crunch every time you shift. Thank you for the detailed video of the recore. I am almost done rodding out an old Model A radiator and you showed me how to put the top tank back on. Thanks again.
Agree. Double-clutch up and learn to time third to second and folks will think you have syncros! First is just to get moving then into second right away.
Wow that is a beautiful old pice of history that is a (KEEPER ) GLAD TO SEE YOU GUYS KEEP IT IN THE FAMILY
The only thing I would change on the old girl is the oil from time to time .
It's perfect !!!
Wonderful craftsmanship.
Who doesn't love a model a roadster pickup
What a great job. Nice to see someone who still has this kind of skill and knowledge. Love the model a roadster pickup. I hope your son can learn how to recor .

Loved getting it un-stuck. Ain't nothing it hasn't done before.
Hope ya finish putting it together .liked watching the rad rebuild cheers
Great truck. Wish I lived close to you guys. Bought a new radiator for my car a couple of years ago. Rather have one of yours.
Stop by if you are ever in the area!
Sweet lil ole car, and sweet music too
Thank you!
WOW! A true craftsman!
Never saw a radiator that old being rebuilt. Very cool to watch.
One of the coolest cars I’ve ever seen indeed! The condition is stunning and should be conserved as it is with no unnecessary repairing and renewal. Pure wonder.
You sure made that look easy...nice one buddy..
Wow, what a survivor. I understand the practicality of wanting to upgrade the radiator but, that would been a hard trigger to pull for me. Hope you guys enjoy it for years to come, very cool.
Something built in.1929 ..you.modify
Nothing leave it all.origional
I cant believe what I'm seeing boil the old rad and you done and it's still original some people have no respect for origionality
Grandpop looked after the car. Nice job rip sir God bless you . All the best from 🇬🇧 I subscribe 🙏🙏🙏👍🏼🤓
Awesome Truck
Very nice work on the radiator.
Nice work!
Just give it s nice make over and you will have something to tell and give your grandkids something to very proud. If it would of been mine I would bring it back to his original condition, what an outstanding and impressive well done job with that radiator, congratulations, from the endless summer paradise Puerto Rico Jesus Torres.
Most kind of you gentleman, blessings to you and your family, thanks you for sharing it with us, from the endless summer paradise Puerto Rico Jesus Torres.
Beautiful
The rifle and the license plate are priceless
The water pump packing can be tightened easily or replaced. Give the nut a quarter turn.
My dad was born in 1900 I know he is watching with me. Way up there.
Geat car. Thanks to share.
hermosa pick up
saludos desde Argentina
Super frickin cool!
This is the year and model pick up, is going to be my next project!
e beleza de mais ver estes CARRINHOS, antigos voltando a correr nas ESTRADAS, relembrando o passado distante valeu ok.
Obrigado por assistir.
Muito bom trabalho no radiador
Top... é nois Brasil
Muito bom reviver o passado
What a really Great vidio,,!! 😀
I never tried it on a Model A but some double clutching on the shifts may help with the gear scratching.
works good on a Model A too.
Dang that's cool!
Cool to think, the last guy who messed with that radiator was more than likely the guy who put in, on the assembly line back in 1929..
Hola buenas tardes saludos desde Panamá excelente video sigan adelante
This is so cool
Double clutching would help a lot to soften the grinding between shifts hope this info helps
Todo un gran clasico
try doubling the clutch will find changes easier and quieter it is a crash gear box , nice old vehicle and nice to see an old trade still going jus tneed those missing bits from the dash
Just remember Aussies invented the ute as it is now known and yes was a ford
Love this model since Archie got his one back in the sixties, him , jughead ,moose and the gang 😁,jokes, . Loved the video mainly the pickup👍
Henry Fords Genious !
that engine sounds so good
Normally I hate "patina" and prefer restoration, but in this case I would agree completely with the owners; can't beat it character. I really liked the radiator rebuild.
Very interesting video.
I think they cost around $600.00 New and it still runs & Drives ... wish they built new ones like that seems like we went backward or forgot something along the way.
I had a '31 roadster p/u for many years built as a full fenders street rod. 3.8 V6 with a supercharger, AOD transmission and 9" 4:11 gears rear differential. 5 years ago, I sold it for $65,000.
I like that wagon 😁
Nice car insane car
You did an excellent job on radiator, good video.
Good job, it's a nice piece of American history, bay the way i think that you should use Double clutch while shifting gear.
Hi, beautiful car!
I really can not belive you destroy the original radiator!!
Nice!!
Interesting to see radiator work. Now for the double clutching and crash-less shifts... LOL
