Tesla are as important to me today as they were when I thought 57 would never arrive. Bust A Nut is such an underrated album, here in Australia anyway, an absolute Classic. A big heartfelt thank you to the band , played a major part in my life and a solid foundation of my music taste as it stands today . THANK YOU

I met Jeff at Red Rocks. I was waiting in front of their buses for some friends to catch up climbing up the mountain. Jeff comes off his tour bus and walks right up to me and just starts talking to me. He asks me which shirt he's holding that he should wear for the show. Sho nuff, he wore it too. They opened for the Scorpions and that now goes down as one of my very favorite shows there.
I met him as well backstage at a show in Philly. The whole band was very cool. It was on the Bust a Nut Tour so they were a 4 piece. No Tommy but still great

Jeff absolutely smashes this way out of the park, I'm so addicted to Tesla , have been since the 90's , got to meet them in Norfolk VA at the Boathouse , it was an old drydock converted in to huge bar , it was torn down a long time ago, but Jeff is a very unusual dude far as singing technique goes , but super cool , and one of the greats no doubt !!
My husband handed me a cd of this song right before we got married. We struggled a lot with our feelings and this song was perfect. I loved it too when I was much younger. Still brings a tear to my eyes. He passed away last year. This song epitomized our relationship. Never take anyone for granted. Give to them and love them with all your heart. Great song, great band! Frank Hannon is absolutely the most tasteful guitarist in rock n roll. Even when he plays covers he makes them better with his style. He always plays for the song yet when he wants to go technical he can shred with the best except he makes shred shape and color the song. Truly one of the greatest guitarist and most underrated of all time.

You probably mean 1984 bc they weren't actually a band til then. Changed their name from City Kidd to Tesla in 1986. Jeff, Frank & Brian did originally start City Kidd in 1982 but Tommy & Troy didn't join til 84 to form the full band. Then in 1986 changed their name & became the iconic Tesla!
Teslas music has always been relevant in my life since the mid eighties when I was first introduced to them,absolutely one of the best bands in history.hall of fame worthy for sure!

Actually this is a cover of a song by the climax blues band. I think it came out mid 70s. Teslas version sounds almost identical to the original.

Saw Tesla play last night at Charlston Casino and man they were great. Vocals are perfect and really the best sound system. They never disappoint in concert! Loved the drummers energy and that smile on his face! Jeff's got some cool moves for sure. ❤

You probably mean 1984 bc they weren't actually a band til then. Changed their name from City Kidd to Tesla in 1986.
Jeff, Frank & Brian did originally start City Kidd in 1982 but Tommy & Troy didn't join til 84 to form the full band. Then in 1986 changed their name & became the iconic Tesla!
Teslas music has always been relevant in my life since the mid eighties when I was first introduced to them,absolutely one of the best bands in history.hall of fame worthy for sure!
