      Thank you so much. I'm not saying this because I made them, but these are the best caramel apples I've ever had. If your house is cool you can just place them on your kitchen counter on top of parchment paper or wax paper. If your house is not cool, you can put them in the refrigerator. When you are ready to consume them, let them sit out on your kitchen counter until they reach room temperature to let the caramel get back good and soft. You can make these 2-4 days in advance so they can be good and fresh. You can place these individually in the paper (cardboard like material) candy apple boxes from my Amazon bake shop here by scrolling down to treat display and packaging- www.amazon.com/shop/diyqueendiva I hope this helps you.💕

    Hi. Looks delicious, can I put the candy apple in the fridge for two days. Giving them out at a gift. For Christmas at work. Everyone is bringing something baked goods. Would like to make them a day before handing it out. Do you gave experience about what it looks like if refrigerated?

    • @DIYQUEENDIVA
      @DIYQUEENDIVA  7 місяців тому

      Yes, you can put these in the refrigerator for those two days. You need to take them out the refrigerator about 4-5 hours prior to going to work so the caramel can get back good and soft by bringing them down to room temperature. Put your caramel apples in the candy apple boxes and not the bags, so the caramel won't stick to your bags. I hope this helps you.💕

    • @DIYQUEENDIVA

      It takes about 20 minutes for the caramel to cook on low-medium heat. If you live in a very hot or humid area place all of your caramel apples in the refrigerator to avoid melting. When you are ready to eat them, take all caramel apples out of the refrigerator and place them on your kitchen counter to reach room temperature until the caramel gets back soft. Let me know if this helps you to make sure I understood your question.💕

    What kind of apples do you prefer I use ?

    • @DIYQUEENDIVA
      @DIYQUEENDIVA  5 місяців тому

      Granny Smith apples are the best to use for caramel and candy apples. As much as I like a good crispy red apple I don’t recommend red apples when making caramel or candy apples. They are more sweet which means during the cleaning apple cleaning process they will be harder to clean because more sugars releases from the apple in which most people refer to as sap due to the sticky apple juices that comes from the apples. I hope this helps you.💕

    I have a question if you don’t mind giving your opinion. Do you know why ppl don’t use red apples to dip anymore? I’m up in Age and I only remember eating red candy apples.

    • @DIYQUEENDIVA
      @DIYQUEENDIVA  11 місяців тому +6

      As far as candy apples, red apples seep more sugars and juices which forms bubbles on the candy. Therefore the candy apple won’t look as pretty. However if you don’t mind the bubbles it’s perfectly fine to use red apples if that’s your preference of choice.
      Red apples are sweeter so many would rather have Granny Smith apples, because if red apples are used the candy apples or caramel apples will be too sweet to some people. I hope this helps you.💕

    • @cherrywilliams1967
      @cherrywilliams1967 11 місяців тому +1

      Omg Thank you sooooooo much for answering my question. Yes that helped me so much. I actually dipped 3 different red apples today just to see the results and you are absolutely 1000% correct. There was bubbles even though I used the same method of cleaning as I did with my green apples. 🫶🏾 Sorry to bother I have another issue I can’t seem to fix 😔, my apples are always sticky. I tried making the house cold , putting a fan in the kitchen area, putting them in the freezer/fridge and they still get sticky, in a matter of hour’s. I’m so discouraged. Thank you for all you do. I love your videos and your voice😂

      You're so welcome. This means your home is humid or the city you live in is very humid and or hot. You can try dry corn syrup which is Hi-Sweet to help with that. Hi-Sweet is a powdered corn syrup that replaces liquid corn syrups such as Karo brand. Hi-Sweet helps to keep hard candy from getting sticky in humid weather. You can find that in my Amazon bake shop. I hope this helps you too.💕
