Dear Lord! memories of my teens studying in Art College and tripping on this Album flood my head! Aaah! youth!! beautiful times! still is don't get me wrong! lol
I love Manhattan Transfer, been listening to these lovely performers since late 70s 80s. They sing retro tracks like the On a Street in Singapore etc, Poinciana was lovely Chanson d more n Gal in Calico. Sexy songs as well, cocktail hour style ❤❤❤❤❤❤! I have a couple of vinyl albums i found in charity shops 😊😊😊
Im from 1991, my father is a Jazz Musician, iv grown up listening to so many diferent kinds of music.... But these album got such good Vibes, 30 years latter and for me it still sounds so fresh.... Love Good Music
In '88 I took a semester off from college and joined the U.S. Army (Reserve). When I finally got to AIT (skills training school) at Fort Gordon, GA, I bought this on cassette at the PX. I was 23 years old. I would lay awake in my bunk, homesick, and listen to this on a new high-tech device called a Walkman. I went back to college a few months later, and eventually earned a Master's degree. I turn 60 this month. Thanks for uploading -- it brings back memories that (now) I wouldn't trade for anything.
First.... I spent a summer living with my uncle Mark in Wichita, Kansas as a young teenager. He introduced me to this album (when CDs were a new thing) and I listened to it every day. The best summer of my life.

There is version of this song but it’s from MUZAK and it’s from a World Trade Center video here is the link: m.ua-cam.com/video/Ok96dMmQWBw/v-deo.html but is there any chance that someone replies to me. We are looking for the MUZAK version of “Soul Food To Go” by Moore and Brengle which is the official artists names but does anyone have a record of it or something that has the original video from that video link?
@@PapipuJP There was a comment that said they had new info of the artists and they said it was by them but there is rumors the MUZAK version of "Soul Food To Go" might have been removed from Environmental MUZAK but we might still find the song if it ever returns in random times. The comment is in the video link I have so look in the comments. Please respond if you have more information or concern. Thanks.
Update: Soul Food To Go was most likely played for the last time on a Friday 3/19/1999 in the World Trade Center because Muzak deleted it from their station after 2000 or 2007 but I think the artists will have a copy of the Muzak version. Because who would delete their own hard work of music they just recreated for Muzak. I think they should find the song by the end of 2023 or mid 2024 because right now the Muzak finders are looking for another song called Suzukiyki or something named like that. It’s a Muzak version of the song.

@PapipuJP UPDATE: It’s not Moore and Brengle. It’s an artist that actually made the Muzak version for it. The artists name is Daniel Ho.
Yup.
