I'm using Google Voice to make this message. Thank you so very very much! I was using Samsung unknowingly and your video helped me be able to shut that crap off. It got to the point where I couldn't even use voice-to-text because it would throw some error message so I had to do something. I'm so glad I found your video! Stay awesome!

If you lose where you are while navigating through menus and have to go back multiple times, just re record your video. It makes it super frustrating for others to follow

Hi I just tried your fix and found I was already set up for Google. I voice text all the time. And it is horrible. It used to be good but now it's just horrible. It is constantly getting words wrong like I was trying to say voice text, I'm going to type it first and then say it. "Selix formalwear". Voice text gives me this. Unnecessary capitalization and all. Felix Formal Wear. How the hell does it here the "C" sound with the "Fee" sound??? Predictive text is turned off yet is constantly changing words do something different after it's tight, correction, typed. And the mic cuts out way too fast.
I'm gonna point this out that I've kind of noticed. I noticed the newer devices tend to be worse at this. I'm someone that whole was on to a lot of older devices and i've noticed that they Aren't as bad. Like my Galaxy 7. It messes up, but my Galaxy 20 the 1 I'm using right now messes up all the time. Aint it gets really bad?
I'm going to be giving this a go for a while. The Samsung version kept NOT letting me speak at all till I rebooted. We will see if Google avoids that mess.

I probably could have found the setting myself, but I might not have known if that's what I was looking for specifically. Literally every sentence I tried to input using the Samsung voice needed multiple Corrections. It was absurd. Arbitrarily changing words. Inserting words. Weird spacing. Weird capitalization. If I didn't go back over everything I input with it, more than half my posts would be incomprehensible, or the context would be completely different because of the changes it made. I made this whole post with Google Voice typing and it looks like it went close to perfect. It also feels much more responsive. Samsung kept stopping in the middle of input. This one doesn't. It also feels like it actually knows what you're trying to convey. As if it was made by people who actually understand the English language, as opposed to aliens who know all the words but don't know how to put them together properly.
I've done this before but it changed with the most recent updated it didn't help that I just had a brain injury. So had to figure this all over again after waking up, out of the coma. So thank you

My galaxy 1 used to give a drop down of options when you touched a word that was incorrectly translated haven't been able to get that to work since and I have the 20. Any ideas?

I used to have that issue back of my old Samsung Galaxy S3, not So Much Anymore I upgraded to a low budget phone in 2017 oh, but it has its own issues with text to speech that annoys me to all hell.
That random oh, is one of them, usually happens when I try to put a "comma" in any of my sentences which means I have to manually fix it every fucking time. Sometimes it won't even type it like that sometimes it will type it as, Tama mama Obama gamma drama and it puts me through plenty of drama every fucking time.
My S9 is on google voice typing and it still messes me up a lot lol. You literally have to speak slow as heck and it still will mess ya up smh. My S3 worked a whole lot better at recognition. Even at some point speaking to text thru fb something changed. You used to be able to when making a correction when you hit the arrow to go back it would take you within the conversation. Now you have to do that several times before it would put you back within the conversation to make corrections. Also when you touched where you wanted to make the change, it would bring up choices of words that you've used to change a word before so it was super easy. SMDH

My Android Voice Typing will not initialize unless I am online, either data or WiFi. None of the online help mentioned this.
