Ben Johnson took winstrol 14 days before the competition, others stopped winstrol 1 month before the competition. They are all doped. Olympic sprint is unwatchable. I think this was the case that really started to bring the issue of steroids/PED use by athletes to the forefront. While steroids had probably been used before this, Johnson was one of the first "big fishes" to be caught using them.
If, as people say, 6 of the 8 athletes in that final were talking performance enhancers, why haven't the medals been given to the clean athletes, according to the order in which they finished? Doesn't matter if it was found years later, the real winners should still be honored

There's no doubt he was doping throughout his career, but he never took Stanozolol as it tightened his leg muscles and caused him to actually run slower. Plus the sample showed that the Stanozolol was pure. That's not possible to get from his system, the only way that would happen is if the sample was tampered with. Especially as the laboratory in Seoul that was holding the samples had such lax security that anyone could walk around in there without the proper accreditation.
True they noticed his running slower and running faster of course they got suspicious because boris always ran slower all the time then that so they wanted to see if he’s cheating or taking any drugs to boost his speed so they took a drug test of him and failed and he cheated from it sadly if he ran fast all the time and the same speed then they wouldn’t think he cheated
