Did Brett have to cut the bottom of the board to get it behind the toilet?

Yes! I forgot to say that, it was actually cut in 3 pieces. Great question 😉

I love this. I'm planning to do this for a backsplash in our kitchen. May I ask where you got the botanical prints? They are lovely!

Thank you so much Kathy! Yes, I got them at a local store in Howell Michigan called the Dragonfly Emporium. They have amazing botanical prints, and I’m pretty sure she will ship them 💖 If you do this for a backsplash, make sure you do several coats of a cleanable sealer!

Very nice! What sheen paint did you use for the whitewash? Im thinking of doing it in the kitchen, so maybe semi gloss?

Thank you so much! I bought them at a local boutique in Howell Michigan called the Dragonfly Emprorium. They have some really cool prints that I’m pretty sure are from France 💕 Thank you so much for watching our video!

I did this and it turned out too white for me..........any ideas on how to remove some of the white after it's dried?

Oh shoot! Are you saying you covered too much and want more brick showing through or the white color is too white? I would try getting a wet rag and see if it will remove some it. Or maybe sanding it?

@@jordanseverydaydiy4373 Not originally, I had a lot more red brick showing...then I decided to do a couple concrete accent walls (they came out great) and the grey made the red too red. So I'm thinking I'll go back over with the same color white the other walls are and I applied too much, it's paint, and now I'm thinking I want to scrap back some of the white.I have every scraper there is and it's not giving me the mottled look. Any ideas....I have putty knives, blades, wire brush....there is a way I know there is:)

@@jordanseverydaydiy4373 It's dry now........the only thing that sort of let me take some paint off was a damp sponge and then scrape. I used the same panels and flexible spackling you did 1st time around, and lived with it for a couple years. I had left a lot of the brick color then and wanted more of a German Smear look like you got. So I'm not starting from the same place. That's why I used paint and did a dry brush....wish I could send you pics. Maybe I could faux brick paint back some of the color?....I don't think I'm that good:)
