This was my friend’s farm. He sells on softbills.com and Cincinnati Craigslist in the fall. I’m not sure why he doesn’t raise ringnecks. I don’t think I’ve asked him. If he has told me, I forgot. I’m glad you liked the video.
Awesome set up, I’ve raised most of those species. Great collection... I can tell you... raising that many birds is a serious chore lol. BUT they make you a lot of money every year selling offspring.
Oh my gosh I need his info I live in Tucson ax and have been waiting over a year for a peach one and the guy I have been waiting on was going to ship mine when of age but they keep passing away before he goes to shop them I would love to buy a pair from him love his setups so amazing and so beautiful love love it
alleykitten13 miranda Keep an eye on the Cincinnati Ohio craigslist. He advertises pheasants and water fowl for sale there. He also advertises on softbills.com website. He is very easy to deal with and ships all over.
This was my friend’s farm. He sold all the new hatched birds. Since I made this video a few years ago, he has sold his farm and does not raise birds any longer.
aromanic in Indiana, I would only need a permit if I kept Ringneck pheasants. All other pheasant varieties are ok to have without a permit. Every state has it’s own laws though, so be sure to know what your state requires. I bought mine from Craigslist and Facebook groups.
Aneesh Aa Yes. There is a chance that snakes could get in these pens. Snakes are not typically a problem in our area though. Larger predators like raccoon, opossum, and hawks are normally more of a threat in our area.
A word of caution about ordering eggs online, if you have had good experience in the past with shipped eggs, you are ahead of the curve. Most people have terrible hatch rates from shipped eggs. Personally, I would never buy an egg and have it shipped. I have tried and failed to hatch many shipped eggs.
