Girl, that was a sheer force of will! Both getting that plant out of its pot, then getting it into your home. I would’ve needed two of me, plus six extra hands to even have a prayer of getting that job done!! 💪🏽🔥👏🏽🎉
I just want to say thank you for not only taking in that goliath of a beauty but not chopping her up. So many people are quick to chop up something like this as soon as they get it, not wanting to deal with it, but you took her in and loved her how she is and are attempting to grow her as is. That's pretty awesome. I hope she does fabulously. 💚
Will this motivate me to repot my big pothos this weekend? Maybe. Were you an absolute LEGEND repotting this behemoth on your own? ABSOLUTELY!!! Lots of planty love Krystal ❤❤❤
Now THAT was a struggle with a plant -- redefined! Congrats on getting that all done! I think we all need to take a sigh of relief after watching you do all that. You get extra points for doing it all with two doggos around. :) I hope it thrives for you. I have to also say that its trunk has a gorgeous pattern. 🌿
Girl i absolutely adore you, your like the perfect representation of I don’t need no man to help me and the struggle of moving it around is real it was so funny to watch I look forward to more videos of you doing big plants like this you rock
My goodness, Krystal 😳. Bravo to you for accomplishing that task! Every time I see your tequila sign when you are wheeling in a monster plant, I wonder if you take a shot in celebration-if not, I think you should. Thanks for sharing your plant wins with us.
Girl! It was so hard to watch you struggle with that beautiful beast and not be able to jump in and help! I was cheering you on every step of the way though 🎉💪
How lucky we All are to find YOU here on yt Krystal! You are an inspiration to many of us, your sense of humor and how natural you are makes my day always! Thank you 😊
She’s absolutely beautiful. I don’t have the room for that large of a plant, but boy would I love to. ❤ Great video. Thanks for sharing your new workout regimen!!😂
My anxiety was through the roof on this one..... again lol I was thinking you should have had your Dad help you with it. My biggest fear is you hurting yourself, especially your back. Great job tackling it alone!! So impressive!!
I wanted to be there to help!! I held my breath through some of that! So didn’t want you to hurt yourself! That definitely was a two person job. She’s a gorgeous beast though and love her stem. Great job!
OMG girl! You definitely are a lot stronger than me. Love watching your plant adventures. I’ve got to get out into the garden today and clear away the weeds around my rhubarb. I bought a little cactus last week and thought of you and your beef collection. You are such an inspiration. 💕🇨🇦
Back at it again! I wanted to let you know, that my way of helping you with this was holding my breath every time you lifted it. Thought I was gonna pass out while 'we' brought it in the door. 😂😂
Darlin I think it's time to invest in a ramp for that door... even if it's removable that's better than hurting yourself trying to get it over that part of the door frame... I am jealous though, these big babies are gorgeous!
Haha 5 mins in and Mamí said “Flip this I’m busting out the PPEs safety glasses and the hammer Yesss! Get it Girl! Plant Lover Life…the struggle is real😅 but so well worth staring at your beautiful masterpiece!
That was so much fun for you, which made it fun for me. You get all the respect. The G.O.A.T! Really, you are truly a plant lover. That was impressive!
You are amazing/hilarious. I really enjoy watching you loosing that battle with big Mama….at first but you are a resourceful woman on a mission. She did not expect that 😀😀😀 You almost buried yourself with big mama when you were dropping her in the new pot. I was laughing so hard and worried at the same time you might hurt yourself. But you made it and I think she is worth the effort her stem look like tentacles. Next time, use a piece of wood as a ramp for the trolley
You are amazing to manage that monster all by yourself and maintain control. I wanted to jump through the screen and help you bring that through the door
There goes wonderwoman again with her muskles 😆 Another beast repotted and saved by Krystal 🫡👍🏼 For a 60 yr old girl she's looking mighty fine👌🏼Your'e a legend 💪
Krystal you were amazing saving her and repotting her,😮😊 you have supreme strenth. You did make me giggle with the battle of saving her, bless you and the incredible plant. I am sure she will thrive with your love and care. I shall look forward to the updates mych love from Cornwall,UK 😘😘
That was amazing! 1. Love the intro! 2. I need that outfit you wore to do the repotting lol and 3. You did a great job, and I'm so happy I got to see it 4. I bet if the original owner could see her now, they'd be happy she ended up with such a wonderful plant mama 💚 Bonus: You've grown so much with this channel. I hope you have those moments where you congratulate yourself on all the hard internal and external work that's gone into your career so far and enjoy all the little moments 😊 you deserve those peaceful and proud moments 💜
that's an amazing looking plant. i would certainly keep the trunk because it shows it's impressive age. (although it can be rooted using the aerial roots and then trimmed short) for whoever is interested, i have found a way of uprooting plants from giant (and also irregular shaped) pots... i use a deep root watering spike (got a stainless, 3ft long one) that gets attached to the garden hose. it basically shoots a water jet from the tip and you can loosen both dirt and roots from the pot's wall. i put a brass valve w/ a large handle that i can use to control the jet pressure. is it works great on large cacti and agave, as i can loosen the dirt and extract those w/ minimal effort even from compacted soils.
The whole time I was just thinking how much easier it would be if we could have done that job together! You’re amazing, and this plant looks so cool! 😊
your bravery and PERSISTENCE are so inspiring. those principles and practices work for every day life. thank you god always sharing that. (had to giggle 🤭 at the bum dropping you had to do to finally free that girl.) 😝
Lovely video Krystal. Love seeing you so relaxed in your videos after saying that you do shorts because you are scared how long videos would turn out for you. I completely understand because right now I am also only doing only shorts on my channel. You are a beautiful soul and your videos bring smiles all around the plant community.
I love it’s “wildness”🌿💕I also love your strength and determination to get the job done! Reminds me of myself-if I want it done, I HAVE to do it myself too…except I’m an old lady now👵🏼😂(I’m just a little younger than the plant!!😆)…she’s a beauty!🤩💕
I don’t know how you keep those trays from cracking and break when trying to get those big babies over the edge and into the center 😮 You are my hero 💚
So very inspiring, I have a very big plant (tree, now as my family would say). I have been wanting to replant her. But I’m so intimidated, but her size. It was so awesome to watch. You are one strong woman. Thank you for sharing this.
Seriously, I worked just as hard as that at your age and now that I'm almost 60 my back is wrecked. I hope that encourages you to get someone to help you next time. 💜
I’ve just found this channel and I can’t stop! You’re the most hilarious gal I’ve seen!!! If I set up a camera, I’d look just like this!!! Thx for showing the REAL❤ process!
For some reason I didn't anticipate such a big plant being so hard to get out of the pot, and to move like that! Well done managing that monstrous thing! (Plant's beautiful btw, what a lovely addition)
This is an amazing story. A really great save. Your hard work on the repot will pay off for sure! A great choice of soil. Such an interesting curve on that trunk and a nice balance in that pot to keep it upright. Good luck and I know it will recover great in its new pot! I'm looking forward to future updates!
I remember a long time ago I said I knew you would get huge, I didn't mean collect huge plants, but hey that's cool too! All the best! Positive vibes ur way luv! 💚💚💚
Hi Krystal! I bought a alocasia at our local big box. You'd have been SO proud! I went to the almost dead on sale section and bought my first alocasia. I came home and immediately came to your site to see what kind of soil I need to transplant into. Haha I wouldn't have bought one before because I've killed so many in the past. But you gave me the courage to give it a go one more time!!
I love thaumatophyllums! They have a unique and prehistoric look to them. And they also grow big SO fast. Mine is a relatively young one from HD and I left it outside for the summer, it loved that and exploded and doubled in size.
I'm so glad you didn't chop her and kept her whole and beautiful! I'm saving this video to show my friend that is helping me repot... she's going to crack up!!! You did a wonderful job and so entertaining!!😂

I think you’re absolutely right 🙌🏽😂
Just a friendly reminder, her site accepts donations, just saying😉 Gotta look out for my Chica!👩🏻🌾🪴🫶🏼
