Before you ask a million times about House of the Dragon, it is coming. It’s been watched in it’s entirety and all episodes are available on Patreon. I will drop them on UA-cam as I finish editing them! Be patient please, I’m in mourning, I just lost my Queen 💔❤️🩹
i was so close to not even watching that show because why would i ? all my excitement about anything game of thrones was GONE. VANISHED after what they did to dany.
I love how you are the only one defending and understanding her. Thank you for that so many people reacting just accepted her actions as normal and as a thing that was gonna happen anyway. I was surprised you were the only one not getting that they were going to kill her in the end and im glad you were the only one crying for her and felling horrible for her end
Me too it was refreshing. I was surprised he was surprised Jon stabbed her I saw it coming on my 1st watch it was Drogon, Greyrowm & her armies reaction that surprised me. I didn’t recognize her as my queen atp cause the writing had ruined her
I remain pissed about what they did to both Dany and Jon. I also remain pissed by people who are used to being fed shit and expect that is everyone's experience too. We were watching for 10 years, and what D&D gave us was hot garbage. They assassinated Dany and Jon in S8. And how did Arya become Captain America, Black Widow and the Hulk by season 8? Please make it make sense. Btw: I am agreeing with you in this rant. 😂
You understand Daenerys so much more than most people, and I love it!! It's been an absolute pleasure watching your reactions. Hope you watch House of the Dragon. You're a real one. Thank you. ⚔🌋❤🖤🔥🐲🔥🖤❤🌋⚔
Fulfilling a character arc designed since 1994 for the most brilliantly written fall from grace villain ever, signs of it all along the way, but yes let’s act surprised and too derpy to see the obvious lmfao “oH bUt I dOnT lIkE wh3n sHe DoeS the UsUaL aGainSt pEoPle I LikE dHurPaSauruS”. 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🎪🎪🎪 character murder 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 classic weirdoes
@@tarikR.R.5120 thank you love ❤ (you were very close. It's spelled Keava) I'm hanging in there. I suffered some huge losses this summer & still very much grieving 💔 thank you so much for asking
That scene when Drogo flies up behind Daenerys giving her the image of having dragon wings is amazing. Side note: "Torgo Nudho" means "Grey Worm" in high Valyrian. Also, I'm glad to hear that I am not the only person who was upset that Negan was aloud to live on "The Walking Dead." 😂
Oh there is one who cried about Dany too and his was so heartbreaking. It’s sad that for many including myself Dany was so influential and for them to write her like that at the end just goes to show the passion they had for her and the world just died cause after she gets killed the show just becomes dull
@@ACinemafanatic I agree, everyone cheers for her, dragontime etc. and click, out the blue, Daenerys is only a mad women.......so unfair. Always and forever, she's my Khaleesi
At 29:40, it broke my heart to see Tamadge finally understand why so many of us hate season 8 of Game of Thrones: that moment when we all - having realized it and yet denied it un the previous episode - could no longer ignore the fact that we had watched this show for 8 years for nothing.
@@kage9719When she walked north of the wall and was reunited with her dead husband and her stillborn child in the vision, did you think that was in reference to Margaery?
Big Bro, your shocked reaction when Jon stabbed Daenerys at 29:22 - 32:09, was EPIC....I had the same response!!!! Our Queen should have stayed with Daario Naharis....Yeah, I said it.
The fact you are always so quick witted and great at reacting but you had to put in meme reactions because you were almost numb after watching Dany die is so relatable. I watched the rest of this episode for the first time the exact same way you did, basically numb and just waiting for the train wreck to end 😂 I feel your pain 💙
And what was said after that though? The point was that people can start out with good intentions and get more ambitious as they gain power and lose their way because they become more sure they're the only judge of right and wrong. Until they start justifying killing innocents
@@tjkrueger2655that may be but I don’t think that’s George’s intention for Dany that’s what D&D did to her because they had personal favorites and therefore ruined her story
when i watched this finale for the first time i ws completely numb, i couldnt feel anything towards anything happening on screen. it wasnt until i rewatched it that i finally felt all the emotions and started crying when drogon picked up dany's body and flew away with her. the end of not only daenerys, but game of thrones itself. she will always be this iconic character that will forever live on in our hearts, but what was done to her in this season especially will always haunt GoT for all time
Lmao who is “they” you complete paranoid psychos. She was set up by the author from the beginning to slide gradually into the villain while the audience and those close to her cheered her on until the same tactics she’s been using the entire story are turned against characters the audience likes and everyone realizes she’s gone too far. It’s to show how easily the wrong leader can be supported up to and through tyranny. She’s and her descent to madness are ingeniously written and is one of the best villain arcs ever done and it’s still not enough for some of y’all who hate over weird reasons as if the story was real and not following the creators originally planned arc since 1994 🤣🤣🤣🤡🎪🤡🎪🤡🎪
It was Daenerys, who prevented herself from being great by going mad. Had she accepted when the entire city and all the troops surrendered and just executed Cersei she would have been a good ruler. A ruler who can’t control their animalistic instincts is no ruler, they are a ruthless tyrant. So we got to see a ruthless tyrant die two episodes in a row, Cersei last episode, and Daenerys this episode. At least in this episode, there was a small mercy in that Jon was able to put down a rabid dog before it could continue the slaughter
If you expected a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention(c) Seriously, you thought for a second GoT would be your archetypical hero's journey?
What were Dany's options? 1) She could have just stayed in Essos. But instead of building up a freshly free society that is still fragile, she chose to leave in the hands of her trusty sellsword, the Essos version of Bron. 2) She could have kneeled to Jon when she learned he had a superior claim and been the de facto ruler as his hand. Who would have objected? 3) She could have given the North the same deal as the Iron Islands. 4) She could have allowed her troops to rest which would have earned Sansa's trust just a little bit. 5) She could have sent scouts to Dragonstone instead of impulsively barging in there. Rhaegal's loss was on her. 6) She could have recognized Tyrion's conflicting loyalties and relieved him of his duties. ... and, last but not least... 7) She could have simply not committed genocide over the people of KL.
1) sure but she wanted to go home. She deserved to be home if that's where she wanted to be 2) jon did not want to rule and dany EARNED her rule. To hand it over just because doesn't make sense for her. She does not exist to serve jon snows character arc 3) she could've. But writers forgot that she was reasonable and did that! Sansa also demanded* she didn't ask like yara did 4) she couldn't do that because ceresi was fortifying her position. 5) rhaegals loss is on the writers. She would've seen the Fleet FROM THE SKY. That tiny mountain wasn't blocking shit. But otherwise, dragonstone is her seat. It shouldn't have been left unattended too. She more than likely would've had a small garisten there to protect it. So again, on the writers 6&7) duh. And she wouldve if it werent for the writers
@@badgaltinginnit She felt entitled to the throne, simply by way of nepotism, not because of support from people in Westeros. And she was consistent about that the whole time. She lost the plot when she ditched the slaves she saved to go chase a vain, costly, foolish entitlement to a place that she didn't know and that didn't know her. She could have just stayed behind in Essos and been the queen that everyone was rooting for
Could of rested her forces time to heal surround the city siege it. As for the attack it was alright up until the bells. If she wanted to be different from the wheel then she should accept the win to show she was better and not the same. As for killing the innocents she did it in early seasons as well. I think jon killed her to stop the war continuing and more dying over what she thinks is right, or ones she deemed a threat. By his actions he expected to pay with his life where neither sit on the throne which would give a chance of a change from the wheel system.
@@Atropos6976 if she did that she would of died the nunbers of undead grow and mass numbers to those few who remain as his goal was to grow everywhere. As for the history lesson, learn the same things happened ending their empires. Those that continued with the same course also lost empires and will continue.
I think everyone can agree that the show deserved at least two more seasons to flesh out Jon and Danny s story as a whole. We should’ve gotten more dialogue between them about his heritage, he should’ve told her about Maester Aemon, they should’ve talk more about his father Rhaegar. I honestly think them bonding over family could’ve brought them closer together. Although still could’ve ended the same but this ending felt so cheap. I got no issues with Danny being a Tyrant, I wanted to see a whole season of it…but no matter what anybody says this whole story did not cater to her ending..only season 8 did. As far a Bran being king, that actually was supposed to be George’s original ending however, the writers did such a horrible job, expanding his story that it made sense to no one. Also, the Dorthraki and Unsullied not killing Jon was laughable. The Dorthraki walking around Kingslanding, as if nothing has changed was just a big insult to us as an audience.
Jon didn't even have a chance to ask about HIS FATHER and what he was like etc. He rode a dragon with his father's name and didn't even mention it.... it really gets on my last nerve with the bad writing!
Рік тому+2
the way that it was crickets after Dany's death till the end LOLLL same
Doesn't make any sense for Arya to leave home again, either. Her whole arc was to realize who she was and where she needed to be. Now, out of nowhere, she leaves everyone again? And Sansa is going to rule as queen? She didn't do so well in the world without Littlefinger (as far as getting her out of King's Landing), the Hound, Brienne, Jon, the Vale, Arya, etc protecting her. Literally ALL of them are gone. How is she going to handle herself now?
Out of all of the endings, Arya’s made the most sense. She didn’t want ANY of that. She even left Gendry. She says it herself “that isn’t me”. Yes, she was protecting her home, multiple times, but now her home is safe so she deserves to go off and be her authentic self.
Whoa! I could feel every bit of your breath and energy taken from you. I knew it was going to hit you hard. You should watch the table read for this scene and then watch what the cast has shared about their feelings on the ending. 😮😢 Sorry the ride didn't end better for you!
Ned was willing to suffer and die in jail or be executed to remain loyal to his king until Varys pointed out it would get his family killed. He chose love over duty and betrayed himself. Jon was willing to go along with Danearys and suffer her choices to remain loyal to his Queen until Tyrion pointed out that it would get his family killed. He chose love over duty and betrayed himself. Recall Jon and Maester Aemon’s conversation in season 1 where Aemon tells him that men choose love over duty even if they think they would do otherwise. Also you said it yourself, Dany only did what she’s been doing the whole time. She kept true to her character and when we saw what it was like from the other end to be subjected to Dany’s conquest… that’s when we as an audience start to have a problem with it. And it causes an huge emotional reaction as people come to terms with the reality that they’ve supported tyranny. It’s a brilliantly written fall from grace villain story, it shows you why and how a tyrant can garner support and how people will go along until it’s too late. The city surrendered. That was the long and short of it, Dany let her emotions rule the day instead of doing what was painfully right and making peace with her enemy. The death of her children and friend fresh in her mind, the rejection of the north and envy of Jon still raw… her lifelong enemies in her sight… she was a good example of a human being driven past the edge. She was a good friend. A good conqueror. But not a good leader. And she proved it. While willingly deciding that the true leader hide himself so she could have the throne instead just because she wanted it. If it was truly about birthright then a true honest leader wouldn’t selfishly and falsely continue to claim the throne.
I have loved every single second watching this show with you. I was still defending Dany after episode 5 and tried to justify it as well. When she died I didn't just cry I sobbed. I loved Dany and she deserved so much better. I'm hoping once the writer and actor strike is over we get the Jon Snow sequel. I can't wait to see what we watch next!
I think you’re looking at the show through your lens and what you wanted from the show. Dany was always being foreshadowed this way and it can be easily ignored by her highlights & the love we have for her but it’s almost poetic how she became her enemy by using their tactics to save her own
The main characters were all concerned with Cersei's human shields and not being able to get to her without innocent casualties... why not just send in Arya? Even if she had to do it wearing Jamie's face, think of the shock value when that's revealed.
THE SILENCE FROM YOU AFTER DANY WAS KILLED WAS 👏🏼HEA-VY👏🏼 (But your edits were hilariously perfect 😂😂) I mean, I knew it was coming… I could feel that they were rollin [literally racing] toward giving the audience a whole “Jon vs Dany” scenario in the last couple seasons. Two characters, who’ve _mostly_ been good the entire series (with a few exceptions, lol) who we’ve all been rooting for, who we were all suddenly OKAY with incest for, and now we gotta “choose” who we’d prefer. I’m upset with how rushed it was. There was so much more story to be told. I feel the same about Bran. I’m okay with the outcome I guess, just absolutely hate how [fast] we got there. And again with Jon - I’m okay with him being in the north, but hate how we got there. I’m happy the Starks essentially “won”, but hate how it felt super forced. Ugh. 😩
Let me say this. I fell in a mini depression over Daenerys 😞 over Drogon being alone without his mother and brothers and over Jon's storyline, and over the ending of such a GOOD SERIES and how it ended 😐
Was it that little girl’s fault that Missande died? Did that terrified mother shoot her dragon out of the sky? Being pissed isn’t a justification to hurt people who never did anything to you. If you can’t take revenge on the actual people who wronged you, then you can’t take revenge. Because then that’s not revenge, that’s just terrorism. Innocence is innocence. Civilians are civilians. Doesn’t matter if they’re a different color or live under a different flag. We all love Dany, but she went mad. She couldn’t handle not being wanted, and she chose her feelings over what’s right. Dany was an insane dangerous nuclear weapon, and she needed to be stopped.
I mean, they've been foreshadowing the mad queen for 8 seasons... no excuses for torching the whole city, she felt entitled to the throne at all cost, no matter if other houses supported her or not. She made that clear at every step... no connection to the throne but her name, just nepotism and fear of dragonfire. She was a false prophet the whole time. I don't mind the ending, it's bittersweet just like everything in the show has been the whole time... no sugar-sweet happy endings with Jon, Tyrion or Daenerys on the throne. Jon goes to the 'real' north, Sansa gets to be queen of the North (deservedly), and Arya gets to go be Dora the Explorer. Seems right to me, but I know I'm in the minority
@@Nihilanth apparently you missed characters asking her not to become her father throughout 8 seasons then. Not to mention the visons of a wrecked red keep throne room
I knew that after Ned died, it was unwise to get attached to any character. I never fell for Dany the way you did and I'm sorry you took it so hard. I watched it in real-time over about ten years and I knew it had to end and that it would end quicker than the other seasons so I was prepared for anything to happen. I wasn't overjoyed about Bran or Jon's plight or Sansa getting what she wanted but all in all, it HAD to end some kind of way. I have rewatched the entire season SEVERAL times now and watched many reactions as well. Some people see early signs of Dany's "madness". In the books, she heard voices but most people have your reaction. Btw, I don't think Jon walked into the thrown room intending to kill her. She was talking madly about knowing what was right and people not getting to choose. The seed had been planted by Tyrion but Dany sounded over-the-top cray. Enjoyed your reactions! Thank you.
Jon was giving Dany multiple chances to show even the tiniest sliver of repentance. It was Dany's like 'they don't have a choice' that sealed the deal for Jon. A world in which only a small number of people, or even worse maybe just one, have any degree of choice is not one in which the wheel was broken.
@@SerbAtheistbut that is literally what the people in the dragon pit were saying when Sam suggested that the people would choose and they laughed about it 😒 the show went downhill after the books ended and D&D suck ups will try to justify Dany going crazy when that is not George’s intention for her at all cersei on the other hand would if you’re currently reading the books
29:23 From this point through the rest of your video, I wanted to hug you to my bosom like an auntie, pat your shoulder, and softly say, “Shhh… I know, baby. I know.” Thank you for all of your reactions. You have done a truly wonderful job. ❄️🔥I look forward to watching House of the Dragon with you.
You haven't seen it coming, not one bit. I knew you were going to be surprised, but that's just another level! Brilliant reaction. I cried too, but only at Drogon's cry, I felt his pain, that screaching cry got me instantly. Almost all reactors are either against Daeneris by this point or simply confused, you were about the only one for her, and I understood that, that's why I knew it's gonna hit you bit hard man, you were left speachlees, it was superb. An oscar of the reactors guild you should get for that!👍 But... on the other hand, she can always be revived if Drogon knows a Red Priestess, no? It's all about who you know!😏 lol
I understand dany last episode, but this episode also makes perfect sense. He destroyed the throne because he wants his momma back. Even the dragon could see what that throne did to her good heart.
@cas4040 I wouldn't say perfect sense but it does make sense he was persuaded by some of Tyrion's good arguments. Then Jon put them to the test and Danny confirmed his worries out of her own mouth. At that point he had to kill her, alongside his love, no other choice but tyranny of a different kind.
Loved your reaction. People saying they foreshadowed Dany are idiots. Dany didn't kill one innocent person before Season 8. She killed abusers, rapists, traitors and slavers. People seem to hold a high moral compass for Dany even though she does things other characters have done (e.g. kill her abusers like Sansa did with Ramsey or kill traitors like Ned and Jon). It's ridiculous. It'a because they consider the Starks as all good doers when in reality the Starks killed and schemed to get to where they are, just like all the other families. People think all Starks were like Ned when Ned was actually an anomaly. He got his rigid honour from Jon Arryn but the other Starks were not like him. E.g. many had bastards, etc. The Starks here are so unlikeable by the end. Power-hungry Sansa, serial killer Arya. Even their lines are gross. Arya said last episode she didn’t trust Dany because "she isn’t one of us" which is similar to what Cersei said to Joffrey in Season 1 - "anyone who isn’t us is an enemy." Arya killed loads of innocents. She killed every male Frey despite not all of them being involved in the Red Wedding. She committed genocide. She has no moral highground. Sansa swore an oath in front of a heart tree then broke it 2 mins later without any consequences. Bran said "I can’t be Lord of anything" last season but now accepts being Lord of 6 Kingdoms. The Starks have a monopoly over Westeros which is ridiculous because the other houses would never accept some god tree king. The south would never bow to a Stark. The Starks have always isolated themselves. Why would they accept them now? The fact Sansa became queen by asking her brother for northern independence in a punch in the face. Not once will I believe Dorne and the Iron Islands would not fight for independence too. The Starks got three votes in the meeting as well as their uncle, cousin and Brienne. How is that fair? You can see the attention to detail is non-existent. Bronn becoming Lord of the Reach is laughable because the Reach houses had trouble accepting the Tyrells as their rulers. You're telling me they're going to accept some random illiterate upstart sellsword who wasn't even born in the Reach? They’d kill him as soon as he arrived. Sam becoming Grand Maester despite the fact he never completed his training and stole frok the Citadel. Not to mention he has a whole arse wife and two kids when maesters aren’t allowed families. The Citadel chooses the Grand Maester. They ain't ever choosing Sam. Missande dying in chains was vile. Putting one of two POC characters back in chains to then kill her off? Right okay. Funny how only two women ever became ruling queens and they were both made tyrants. Cersei's death was trash. Killed by a roof. Jaime's character development thrown in the bin.
Sam surving the long night was a joke and Sam did even say one word to Jon. That l can not believe. The Dorthraki didn't avenger their leaders death? Grayworm didn't try to kill Jon? What happened to Dario and the second sons, this was awful 😖
Ok firstly! Daenerys was also exercising her birth right by saying she wanted to be Queen. She always said the throne was taken away from her family. So by that logic Jon Snow is the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. Also did you forget about the Prince that was Promised prophecy? About how his whole life Jon wanted to know more about himself. His mother. Jon that suffered so much. Grew up with a step mother that hated him. Sent to the wall. His first love killed. Saved all the wildlings. Stabbed by his own men. Bent the knee to save the whole realm. If Dany didn’t focus on the “damn white walker shit” she would have been ruling over dead people. And for Sansa who suffered so much through out the whole series. Raped, beaten, sold, betrayed. Right in front of her. Sansa deserves whatever she was rewarded. Dany didn’t suffer even close to what Sansa went through. I don’t get why you hating on the Starks. Dany went bat shit crazy and burned innocent people.
I don’t think you listened very well to what I said… I’m happy for the Starks I been rooting for them. And I said Daenerys should’ve dealt with the Throne first, which is true. The White Walkers didn’t have a way over the wall until we gave them a Dragon. Trying to rush to stop them is what advanced them. She should’ve gotten her Throne and thus had all of Westeros to command and defend the country
I recommend watching "Game of Thrones Evil Ending" on youtube. Its only 2 mins long but It gives a better explanation for Bran becoming king. Watching your heart break when Jon stabbed Dany was hard to watch :( I agree we want an Arya discovering the world spin off! This has been a great watch with you for these past however long its been lol. I really enjoyed all of your videos and can't wait to see HOTD when its ready! Thanks for sharing your journey with us
It’s been a privilege to watch this series with you. I know it ended the way it did but GOT is something that I will never forget as long as I live. It was that great of a series. I mean it literally changed television. Season 8 did have some great moments. But I do get how you were upset about Dany. So was I. She sacrificed so much and got shitted on. Can’t wait for HOD.
It was a great ending! 👏🏼 Dany turned into the Mad Queen! She chose to “burn them all” just like the Mad King did with Wildfyre. If you remember Bran’s flashbacks from the past you can see the Mad King himself sitting on the Iron Throne, yelling “Burn them all!” This is the phrase that is closely associated with his madness. Dany used Drogon to burn them all hence the Mad Queen.
The way i look at it is... the fight against the White Walkers was the biggest battle...the main battle... everything else just evolves into vanity and control. If you subscribe to what happened in the end and treat the idea of these characters as true people (regardless of the fact that we've been able to watch each individual story line), you can make an argument for the final outcome. Everyone wants a fairy tale ending, but truthfully people change over time and more times than not, decisions are made in angst and emotions. I am one of the few that didn't have an issue with the ending
Finally someone who gets it. The whole series is bittersweet right through the ending and they foreshadowed the mad queen from the jump. Everyone got their just ending
@@tjkrueger2655they didn’t foreshadow anything they literally said in a season that Dany is not mad and not her father now that the show ended they said they planned it they didn’t plan anything they just wrote themselves into a corner
@ACinemafanatic you obviously don't know foreshadowing when you see it. Plus, those visions of a destroyed throne room, juxtaposed with the mad king saying "burn them all", juxtaposed with the silhouette of Dany and her dragon over Kings Landing in bran's visions in earlier seasons? All foreshadowing
That was tough man knowing what was coming and you thinking Tyrion was telling Jon to press his claim for the throne, she had to go especially after saying she was going to "liberate Winterfell"
@thalentekhuluse2829 wow. You know what? I would have killed her more brutally if I was in Jon's place. Nobody's touching winterfell. She went mad. There was no coming back to sanity.
I felt the ending made the whole thing...holy crap just like tunneling through a mountain of bullshit just to find the asshole that dropped it. I agree that they did Dani dirty AF. I agree with you 100% My favorite character was Arya bur I feel it was Dani's story. The show pissed me off.
it was not her story. george literally turned people down who wanted to turn his books into movies/a show because they wanted to focus on single characters. the fact that the last couple seasons had SO MUCH DAENERYS was due to fan service. besides that - his main family has always been the starks. she will die in the books as well. george gave them all of the biggest key parts of the ending. it was also foreshadowed throughout the entire series
@@BeautyAndOtterPops It wasn't foreshadowed. People who claim things were "foreshadowed".....foreshadowing is just a crutch for lazy sloppy writing. What was "foreshadowed" (or more accurately,...telegraphed....) was that Dany was going to be the one who would liberate Westeros from the Lannisters and that she'd be a good ruler. She's the one who freed slaves and made the decision to stay in Mereen to rule it as a good ruler instead of letting it fall back into Slaver rule. Does that sound to you like someone who would eventually end up being a psychopathic mass-murderer? But D & D had their cliff notes of how the story was supposed to end (in broadstrokes) and they rushed the show's final two seasons to get there and did it sloppily. And if the Story wasn't Dany's or Jon's, whose was it? Bran's? Seriously? Tell me with a straight face you watched 8 seasons of this show thinking ".....Yeah, .....this is Bran's story?" I mean,...come on. It's ridiculous!!!
@Cbricklyne that's... not what foreshadowing is lmfao. quality foreshadowing is an element of a great writer. did you read the books? as far as foreshadowing in the show - it literally plays a whole montage for the "previously on" right before the episode where she burns down king's landing of examples of the foreshadowing. what you're listing isn't foreshadowing. it's evidence for a conclusion or an argument, yes, but not foreshadowing. george rejected people wanting to use his books for their own productions because they wanted to focus on singular characters. as in - it's NO ONE'S STORY. it's not about ONE character. however, the remaining starks were the family always meant to survive throughout the series as written in his leaked draft. george wasn't involved in the last seasons. so, yes, unfortunately the show writers gave into fan service and made it way too much about daenerys which was exactly what george DIDN'T want.
Tomaj, this reaction was a rollercoster. I've never seen anyone react so heavily to Daenerys' death and I was right there with you re-living that stab to her/our hearts. I hope you are doing better now. As for the rest of this dumpster fire of an episode... fuck all that. I don't see the point in any of it; Arya the explorer would've been cool though. BTW, have you seen the actress that plays Arya talk about season 8? She literally said "Yeah, it definitely fell off at the end." 😂 Props to her for keeping it real. I've talked about Sansa extensively before, but the fact that she got to be Queen by stabbing Daenerys in the back after they all used her for all her worth... Hmmm. No. I'm not happy to see her on that mini-throne. She gave Cersei 2.0 energy all season long.
Dany been saying she was gonna burn cities and melt cities since season 2. She been killing people she didnt need to kill since season 1. Her story is brilliant because it shows how easy everyone falls in line behind a tyrant. She killed more innocent people than every other character in this show combined, Jeoffrey, Ramsey, The Mountain, Cersei, Tywin, Walder Frey.. more than all them.
Exactly. And the same people will question and say "how did people fall for this?" When it comes to tyrants in our own world. This was brilliant writing
It stupid to blame Danny after everything she went through. Not a single person in this show was more betrayed than her. She lost everything And everyone she loved. She was pushed to her limit
@@Firebird1968it wasn’t…not even the writers agree with you they literally admitted it themselves, they rushed it to get to their Star Wars project which got canned due to their poor performance ending the show….just because George had the ending the entire time doesn’t mean they executed said ending good or even ok at all….they literally rushed her madness and Insanity in a episode and a half lol
@@HardenJID no they didn't. It's been building since season 1. She wanted to burn cities since the beginning. When Yankai tried to turn her away it was her first threat she would come back and burn it to the ground. Her advisors kept her in check and even then she still ignored them on occasion. Olena told her to stop listening to men and to be a dragon, it was her being told to give in to her worst impulses, in her mind it was the validation she needed that she was right. The fact anyone's trying to justify someone burning a entire city is insane to me when she already won.
I had to come over here from TT to see how you handled it. 😂😂😂 It was exactly as I expected. Your face man… like someone snatched your soul! Hope you’ve recovered since then. 😂
I wasn't the most hardcore fan of Daenerys but I liked her a lot and I really had the feeling the series ended after her death. I was broken and angry from this scene till the end, as if nothing really mattered for me after this stupid decision. We had the exact same reaction mate
Hush and listen to Tyrion. You are trying so hard to justify what Danerys did, while saying "I can't justify it." Come on. She got up there like she was Hitler, talking about going to Winterfell and Dorne to free the people. The people are free there! Those are her allies!!! The writers are total shit for not getting us to this ending. But Danerys is evil, bro. The is the real Mad Queen.
I feel you Tamadge that's how I felt when Negan killed Glenn I know that's a different show but I'm still not over that so I'm saying that to say I understand your hurt over your favorite character they made her the mad Queen ❤
From the point where Jon killed Dany to the end was fucking pointless, senseless & trash. Jon killing Dany hurt, like there wasn't any other options better than that? Just kill her at the first sign of madness while she's crushed & fuck all the good she's done. & Sansa just erks me big time she's a mini half ass cersi. I just pretend it ended when Dany became queen lol 🤷♀️ team mad queen still. Fuck those ppl, and whoever else felt some type of way. I said what I said lol
If you read the books, there's a lot of foreshadowing of Bran being King. Also, the books go more into the Prince Who Was Promised, who one the Long Night by putting his sword through the heart of his lover, and withdrew sword of fire. This was always meant to happen.
@kimberlycunningham3740 nope x2. that's a simplistic take on the title. GRRM himself said, the ice is the others in the North, and the fire is dany and her dragons. Do you think your basic analysis of that takes importance over the writer himself? There's multiple meanings because that's the brilliance of grrm. But he has verified HIMSELF that the core meaning is what I described
@badgaltinginnit omg stop with it already..... Daenerys IS NOT the prince who was promised. It is clearly Jon Snow. Anyone with a hint of common sense would understand.🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
@RhaenyraT2001 how does he wake dragons from stone? When was he born in salt and smoke? Its not him and that's okay. He plays alarge part, but it is daenerys that is granted the power to do the impossible and bring dragons from stone. Dany is also the breaker of chains and her theme song, "breaker of chains" plays in HOTD when viserys tells rhaenyra the prophecy. Its so clearly her
Love your reaction. I think you are on the side of the mass of people that think this ending was not worthy of GOT. The writers just mailed it in and ended the show, even though HBO offered 10 episode seasons based on the popularity of the series. At least the Targareyen line has not ended, but it might as well be.
dany with the dragon wings behind her .. they ate that one thing 🔥 whew i really don’t know how i made it through this episode. i’ll say it again i was extremely heated 😭 they destroyed my girl dany 😡 omg the way you had no idea/thought about dany dying is funny yet very sad because of the pain. i at least was worried throughout the whole episode about that being a potential and you didn’t seemingly 😔 her death was extremely shocking for you! one word as a dany fan for this series finale … NUMB
It was both ash and snow. Dany brought winter to King's Landing. 'Winter is coming' was a warning about her, as was the vision in the House of the Undying.
Dany snapped, she was always going to snap. Her father was the Mad King and her brother was just as nuts. Why do you blame Dany’s actions on everyone else? She did it, and now she’s gone. Good.
I'm not glad she's gone. But I agree. And what people always ignore is, she was 100% willing to go forward peacefully. She even said she wouldn't kill the innocents if he stayed with her in a relationship. And as soon as he said,I love you only as my queen, her words were, well with fear it is then😮. So she basically lost her shit because Jon broke her heart. She wasn't going to stop killing either. I loved her from the start. Until season 7. That whole bend the knee or die thing was too far for me. I was annoyed that she let the power get to her lie that.
Her father was kidnapped and tortured for months... that's why he went mad. Rhaegar was obsessed either his dragon dreams. None of them just snapped. It's so stupid
Which part? Her dying or him not staking his rightful claim to the throne? And Tyriion was fool, whose foolishness cost literal THOUSANDS of people their lives - even by his own admission.
Do people really buy her bs for a pretty face? I was really enchanted by her until the moment she slaughtered masters without any trial. It went downhill from there and brought her to the well-deserved demise. You can't erase a whole city over your personal drama
I loved her. She was in joint 2nd place of my fave character, Jon being the other, Arya being number 1. But when she started killing for not bending the knee. Nah, too far for me even Jon. She acted like the dead army was his problem, unless he bent the knee.
I agree and she started to be completely annoying asf when she met Jon, so many times I wanted to smack her fr.. Dany being so desperate for the throne literally no different than cersei like tf 😂 even drogon knew the throne is what killed his mother melting the throne so nobody can have it 💀 the only one I feel bad for is drogon poor bb
The Starks went through so much too. But Dani took it too far. And she wasn't content with what she did or remorseful, she was still wanting to do a full on murder spree. She wouldn't have been a fit queen. No way. Yeah you love her. And lets not give her all the sympathy because if what she went through and blame that. She had a conversation with jon about her not burning KL to the ground remember, and she was 100% for that, but only if Jon stood by her side as a couple. When he said he only loved her as his queen, her words were, well rule with fear it is then.😮 She was absolutely fine with all she went through if Jon would still be with her. So basically she killed everyone because her heart was broken 💔 because Jon wouldn't love her that way no more. That's F',d up. The Starks deserved the thrown more. I mean not bran, that shit was dumb. And the way it all ended like that was dumb too. It would not have happened that easily. Jon didn't deserve being sent to the wall after everything he did. He did more than anyone did. But that final ook bk he gave at the wall, I don't think he had any intention of going bk. He was going with the free folk. Which was perfect for him.
Trust me, when George eventually finishes the books, Dany will get the storyline she deserves, not this bullshit. Now Westeros has a stalker for a King, 😅😅😅😅 #TeamBlack 🖤❤🖤❤🖤
One of the things D&D said in their meetings with George was that they knew who Jon's mother was, and that Bran would end up on the throne, but that was all the direction he gave them. There was nothing about Daenerys. I think the producers went out on a limb trying to be crafty, and it ruined everything. I think in the books, Dany will sacrifice herself to defeat the White Walkers - Arya is not going to be the one. Plus, in the books everything is different - Dorne actually does not suck, and Ser Barristan is still alive. Where George left off, Jon Snow had just been killed by the Night Watch - and Dany is like 12. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dany fans say she only killed innocents because she was broken by the death of Rhaegal and Missandei. But ironically she is to blame for those deaths. She was advised that Cersei and Euron lied at the meeting at KL and were preparing to attack her. She also knew that her soldiers and Rhaegal were injured and not battle- ready. But she still gathered her people without hesitation and headed to Dragonstone.... without even sending a scout to make sure it hadn't been seized in her absence. She insisted... and they died. And suddenly (according to the Dany fans) she snapped and decided to "burn them all", like her father...but UNLIKE most of the Targaryans who ruled the seven kingdoms without burning the city.
I feel like a scene that's as dumb as any of the rest but gets overlooked is the council scene. It's just really cringey to me from the way they speak (saying their titles constantly in a really forced way of making sure we caught who was doing what job. "The Master of Coin thinks this" "well the Master of Ships disagrees with the Master of Coin" etc) to the characters that were chosen for places on the council even if they don't make sense but because they clearly wanted to make it all cute and cozy that all our friends are working together (Brienne and Davos sure, they at least have some level of experience but Bronn is Master of Coin? The Master of Coin isn't just whoever happens to have the most money). What got the biggest groan from me though was Sam naming the history book "A Song of Ice and Fire". They put a bunch of jokes (or what they thought counted as jokes) and fan service at the end in place of any actual satisfying storylines. There's no reason Tyrion Lannister wouldn't be mentioned in a telling of what happened after Robert's Rebellion. Doesn't make any sense but they thought it would get a laugh. Sorry, I get a little worked up about this. Such a huge disappointment
My guy- if Dany didn’t help in the long night everyone would have died including her no matter the mission though… Option: kill Cercei, not the whole city. Jon is the only one who could have killed her- his morality is the only one right enough. Again: everyone has gone through sht, emotions go with actions but not in sacrifice for the moral compass. That’s what makes us human. And no, killing thousands like Hitler and then saying it’s okay because she suffered is like a school shooter comparison. Pls no. It’s not good writing. But y’all can’t say it’s okay that she did that just due to “feelings” HECK no. In the real world someone gets pissed and murders their spouse? Death sentence or for life. Period
The ending..such awkward silence at the end. But I feel you. We all felt the same, trust me! I remember, after watching many times, that when Tyrian told Danarys, "You're in the game now", that was the pivot. When she returned to Westeros, she aligned with houses who were fueled by vengeance. At that point, she became a part of the wheel, instead of breaking it. The series built up Dany & Jon as the Princess/Prince that was promised...for what?
I just want to say I ADORED this entire series and watching you. It gave me LIFE. Thank you so much for sharing this journey. Although I felt differently about Dany (as many of us do who watched over several years) I was so sad you couldn't SPEAK until Bronn made his brothel comment. I was like Oh thank God. He smiled. But aside from that, I love your opinion and take on this. Love to see what you think after another watchthrough one day... but I think what gets me still is... Dany imo didn't go through anything the Starks didn't. Arya and Sansa both saw someone they loved beheaded by the Lannisters. Difference. Arya made a list of SINGULAR people. The worst was The Frays but that was still Army that conspired. Sansa was broken in and sold too. Still didn't clean out a city. Catherine Stark lost her children as well. And Jon was betrayed. But still nobody was killing innocent people in mass. If Arya can go straight for Cersei at the end... so can Dany on her dragon. Blacking out with rage ain't it. And that's why... with much power.. comes much responsibility. And Dany was kinda giving mmm.. Mad Queen.
it never sat well with me people who liked and defended dany's ending. it's misogynist, cheap and pointless. it was never GRRM's intention to make dany mad and the proof is in the books. it was never foreshadowed or hinted. also, GRRM speaks freely about her character; "Daenerys is one of the main 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐞 of the novel, and dragons serve only her.” - GRRM "I wanted her to be a princess not a prince [...] I wanted to go against the fantasy approach that gives the keys to men, at first I thought I would write a story about an exiled prince, perhaps Viserys or the son of Daenerys but I found the story that makes a weak, innocent girl a strong queen even more inspiring. I never thought about the power I would give Dany, A friend suggested that I add fantasy elements to the story, and then I found fire. Fire symbolizes life and warmth, and the mythical being that bestows it was the dragon. They are wonderful creatures [...]" - GRRM "of course the two outlying ones the things that are going on north of the wall and Daenerys Targaryen on the other continent, are of course the "Ice and Fire" of the title a song of ice and fire" - GRRM Dany = fire white walkers = ice “I mean... Fire is love, fire is passion, fire is sexual ardor and all of these things. Ice is betrayal, ice is revenge, ice is… you know, that kind of cold inhumanity and all that stuff is being played out in the books" - GRRM "On the ADWD cover, I put Daenerys at the top of the stairs of the meereenese pyramid. And George told me that Daenerys wants equality for everyone, she wants to be at the same level as her people, so I had her climb down to keep it consistent” - Marc Simonetti "five central characters will make it through all volumes, the five key players are: Tyrion Lannister, Daenerys Targaryen, Bran, Arya and Jon" - GRRM "not all characters who died in game of thrones will die in a song of ice and fire" - GRRM "Jon killing Dany next to the iron throne was an original idea of benioff and Weiss in the third season" - LOSSIETEREINOS Belomor555: dany, my most hated character. i hope she dies in the end GRRM on his blog: tsk, tsk "dany’s very young. she has lessons to learn. it’s not easy to do good, no matter your noble intentions.” - grrm "That night she dreamt that she was Rhaegar, riding to the Trident. But she was mounted on a dragon, not a horse. When she saw the Usurper's rebel host across the river they were armored all in ice, but she bathed them in dragonfire and they melted away like dew and turned the Trident into a torrent. Some small part of her knew that she was dreaming, but another part exulted. This is how it was meant to be." - Daenerys, ASOS
You wrote a whole chapter there. But never paid attention to back stage of the Emmy Awards, when GOT won it's 4th consecutive Best Drama Award for season 8 (Where George was happy to receive it with the entire cast). The only 4 they won. D&D mention, when asked about the ending backstage, if they changed it to make it their own. They said, before we even took the job, it was always going to be Bran on the Iron Throne, that's all George. If that was all George, I guarantee you his input on all the main characters was more of the same. The Mad King story line was repeated over & over again. With Bran on the Iron Throne, Dani was out of a job, That's George's doing. Watch the pilot episode & all the premonitions in the early seasons, this was all George. He's being a Monday Mornign QB now, after the fact, because of some fans backlash. Taking 4 yrs to rewrite his own ending.
@@jayhildenbrand7237 didn't a moment said dany's ending will be on the throne. but Dany going mad cause she finds out she's not the only Targaryen and has "no claim to the throne" is bullshit. Dany hates being queen and most of the times she's just sad that she's "the last Targaryen". I have no problem with bran being king, I never really wanted Dany to be on the throne, it wouldn't be a happy ending for her. Dany returning to the house with the red door, which is the only thing she truly wants, is the most fitting ending for her character. and "premonitions"? huh?

i was so close to not even watching that show because why would i ? all my excitement about anything game of thrones was GONE. VANISHED after what they did to dany.

Agree. Finally, someone telling it how it is with no filter.

Oh there is one who cried about Dany too and his was so heartbreaking. At 29:40, it broke my heart to see Tamadge finally understand why so many of us hate season 8 of Game of Thrones: that moment when we all - having realized it and yet denied it un the previous episode - could no longer ignore the fact that we had watched this show for 8 years for nothing.
Daenerys was destined to die, her vision in the House of the Undying proves Jon was destined to kill her. The show wasn’t for nothing at all.

The fact you are always so quick witted and great at reacting but you had to put in meme reactions because you were almost numb after watching Dany die is so relatable. My interest left with Drogon!
Exactly. After he killed her I walked out. Everything else was BS. Mother of Dragons for life!
Turns out Tyrion’s best advice was “The Iron Throne. Ever consider wanting something else?”
“Everywhere she goes, evil men die” Was I supposed to feel bad for the rapists and the slavers?! 🙄🤦♀️
Thank you. If she was a man doing this would Tyrion care? NOPE!!!!
Yup! They resorted to siding with SLAVERS AND GRAPERS to make sure the audience knew dany was the big bad all along. rubbish
More bad writing.
THANK YOU! I agree 100%. Everyone gives me shit for being angry.
Fuck what they talking about, we’re allowed to be mad!!
when i watched this finale for the first time i ws completely numb, i couldnt feel anything towards anything happening on screen. it wasnt until i rewatched it that i finally felt all the emotions and started crying when drogon picked up dany's body and flew away with her. the end of not only daenerys, but game of thrones itself. she will always be this iconic character that will forever live on in our hearts, but what was done to her in this season especially will always haunt GoT for all time
They just couldn’t let her be great.
This, they didn't allow us to see her rule.
If you expected a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention(c)
Seriously, you thought for a second GoT would be your archetypical hero's journey?
@boristurovskiy351 starks got Disney endings. Jon and arya are riding off into the sunset. Bran is king and sansa is queen.
All literal happy endings
She deserved to be home if that's where she wanted to be
2) jon did not want to rule and dany EARNED her rule. To hand it over just because doesn't make sense for her. She does not exist to serve jon snows character arc
3) she could've. But writers forgot that she was reasonable and did that! Sansa also demanded* she didn't ask like yara did
4) she couldn't do that because ceresi was fortifying her position.
So again, on the writers
6&7) duh. And she wouldve if it werent for the writers
@badgaltinginnit yeah, right. Like if Jon wanted to RULE which was HIS right, Dany would let him. Stop being delusional.
No matter what- it was an ENJOYABLE show and I still love it. The actors did PHENOMENAL 🎉🎉🎉 Let’s celebrate the times lent together enjoying it m
I know how you feel brother. I had the exact same reaction to Daenerys dying. Greatest show of all time with the worst ending.
He rode a dragon with his father's name and didn't even mention it.... it really gets on my last nerve with the bad writing!
the way that it was crickets after Dany's death till the end LOLLL same
Doesn't make any sense for Arya to leave home again, either.
A few episodes before: “the lone wolf dies but the pack survives”
Literally every Stark in the finale: “bye”
Even if she had to do it wearing Jamie's face, think of the shock value when that's revealed.
hahahaha best use of the "YOU WHAT??!!" clip of this whole entire reaction journey LOL... i think we all said that to some extent 😂
THE SILENCE FROM YOU AFTER DANY WAS KILLED WAS 👏🏼HEA-VY👏🏼
(But your edits were hilariously perfect 😂😂)
I mean, I knew it was coming… I could feel that they were rollin [literally racing] toward giving the audience a whole “Jon vs Dany” scenario in the last couple seasons.
Ugh. 😩
I just love the fact that you said you can't justify her actions just like Jon.. and then just like Jon you start trying to justify her actions 🤣🤣🤣🤣😅
Let me say this. I fell in a mini depression over Daenerys 😞 over Drogon being alone without his mother and brothers and over Jon's storyline, and over the ending of such a GOOD SERIES and how it ended 😐
you’re not alone i fear. it was and is still bad for me 😂
@@QUAKEisCOMING I'm not ashamed to admit this but l cried real tears over this because l knew what was going to happen to her. It still hurts! 😩😩😔

I loved her too. 😢Dany’s arc was the heroic journey personified.
The writers made her snap and go insane .
Same here. I've blocked most of it, but every now and then I just get sad again 😪
Seems right to me, but I know I'm in the minority
they haven't ❤
@@Nihilanth haven't what?

Thank you 😭
Your authentic reaction to this brought all the emotion back.
🥺😖
You haven't seen it coming, not one bit. I knew you were going to be surprised, but that's just another level! Brilliant reaction. I cried too, but only at Drogon's cry, I felt his pain, that screaching cry got me instantly.
Almost all reactors are either against Daeneris by this point or simply confused, you were about the only one for her, and I understood that, that's why I knew it's gonna hit you bit hard man, you were left speachlees, it was superb. An oscar of the reactors guild you should get for that!👍
But... on the other hand, she can always be revived if Drogon knows a Red Priestess, no?
Arya said last episode she didn’t trust Dany because "she isn’t one of us" which is similar to what Cersei said to Joffrey in Season 1 - "anyone who isn’t us is an enemy."
Arya killed loads of innocents.
If Arya committed a genocide, what did Dany do? Lol
@@LexieDimera - mass murder. Dany didn't target a particular group. Arya did.
@@icechoc and that makes it better? Almost wiping off an entire city off of Westeros? Well, no wonder Hitler and Leopold had so much support.
Fair point about Missandei though. For sure. The hatred towards the Starks is interesting.
I'm with you man! Totally agree with your reaction.
Bro is left speechless by the writin 😂 love it
your comments means so much to us as book readers especially, what they did to her was so messed up
We were never in danger of a Bran spinoff lol
Lord the silence in this video is LOUD 😂😭😭😭

😂😂 you’re all of us - especially when the sent John to the nights watch 🙈
It was a great ending! 👏🏼 Dany turned into the Mad Queen! She chose to “burn them all” just like the Mad King did with Wildfyre. If you remember Bran’s flashbacks from the past you can see the Mad King himself sitting on the Iron Throne, yelling “Burn them all!” This is the phrase that is closely associated with his madness. Dany used Drogon to burn them all hence the Mad Queen.
it sucked
bran is a retarded cripple and should be nowhere near power

My favorite character was Arya bur I feel it was Dani's story.
@@BeautyAndOtterPops
It wasn't foreshadowed.
Bran's?
Seriously?
Tell me with a straight face you watched 8 seasons of this show thinking ".....Yeah, .....this is Bran's story?"
I mean,...come on.
I never knew that knowing everyone else's stories meant you'd be a good king. Smh 🤦🏽♀️

Nope. TPTWP is dany in the books. She fulfills all angles of the prophecy before it's even introduced in the second novel. The genius of grrm
@@badgaltinginnit Jon is The Song of Ice and Fire embodied. It was always going to end this way.
@kimberlycunningham3740
nope x2. that's a simplistic take on the title. GRRM himself said, the ice is the others in the North, and the fire is dany and her dragons.
Do you think your basic analysis of that takes importance over the writer himself? There's multiple meanings because that's the brilliance of grrm. But he has verified HIMSELF that the core meaning is what I described

D @ D didn’t need to rush the ending! George R R Martin said they had plenty of material to go on for several years, while he finished the books!
I guess you know by now, Tyrion didn't want Jon to assert his claim. Tyrion wanted her to die. And Jon Snow obliged and it was the right thing to do.
Which part?
Her dying or him not staking his rightful claim to the throne?
And Tyriion was fool, whose foolishness cost literal THOUSANDS of people their lives - even by his own admission.
Dude, she gave a speech out of Hitler's playbook. And you're still making excuses for her. Jon absolutely would not have done that.

I loved her, until she started beefing at The Starks. I made my choice then.
Dany has been through 100000x more than the starks and a lot of her suffering was brought on by their family too...

Dany will still obviously turn mad and be killed. Just written better.

By the way, something that almost everyone doesnt realize, is that that isnt snow in kings landing…. Its ash
Your reaction to Dany's death... yeah 😢
💔💔
My guy- if Dany didn’t help in the long night everyone would have died including her no matter the mission though…
Option: kill Cercei, not the whole city.
It was built up FOR NOTHING!!!
They should've married Jon and Dany and let them co-rule.
Mad Queen.
Aw, dude - I'm sorry that was so rough on you. We couldn't warn you...
it never sat well with me people who liked and defended dany's ending. it's misogynist, cheap and pointless.
it was never GRRM's intention to make dany mad and the proof is in the books. it was never foreshadowed or hinted.
also, GRRM speaks freely about her character;
"Daenerys is one of the main 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐞 of the novel, and dragons serve only her.” - GRRM
"I wanted her to be a princess not a prince [...] I wanted to go against the fantasy approach that gives the keys to men, at first I thought I would write a story about an exiled prince, perhaps Viserys or the son of Daenerys but I found the story that makes a weak, innocent girl a strong queen even more inspiring. I never thought about the power I would give Dany, A friend suggested that I add fantasy elements to the story, and then I found fire. Fire symbolizes life and warmth, and the mythical being that bestows it was the dragon. They are wonderful creatures [...]" - GRRM
"of course the two outlying ones the things that are going on north of the wall and Daenerys Targaryen on the other continent, are of course the "Ice and Fire" of the title a song of ice and fire" - GRRM
Dany = fire
white walkers = ice
“I mean... Fire is love, fire is passion, fire is sexual ardor and all of these things. Ice is betrayal, ice is revenge, ice is… you know, that kind of cold inhumanity and all that stuff is being played out in the books" - GRRM
"On the ADWD cover, I put Daenerys at the top of the stairs of the meereenese pyramid. And George told me that Daenerys wants equality for everyone, she wants to be at the same level as her people, so I had her climb down to keep it consistent” - Marc Simonetti
"five central characters will make it through all volumes, the five key players are: Tyrion Lannister, Daenerys Targaryen, Bran, Arya and Jon" - GRRM
"not all characters who died in game of thrones will die in a song of ice and fire" - GRRM
"Jon killing Dany next to the iron throne was an original idea of benioff and Weiss in the third season" - LOSSIETEREINOS
Belomor555: dany, my most hated character. i hope she dies in the end
GRRM on his blog: tsk, tsk
"dany’s very young. she has lessons to learn. it’s not easy to do good, no matter your noble intentions.” - grrm
"That night she dreamt that she was Rhaegar, riding to the Trident.
Dany returning to the house with the red door, which is the only thing she truly wants, is the most fitting ending for her character.
and "premonitions"? huh?
