First, I love your cadence. You explain things without being condescending. I’ve been playing the newest version of Skyblock (draconian, impulse, and skizz) and have come to the point where I need gold to help with villager trades (the zombie trick)... A dumbed down version of this farm could work well for me. But I have a couple questions: I thought the attraction radius of turtle eggs was circular (so maybe I could save some blocks on the corners) I get the dispenser “lava splash pool” so the mobs drop that 22.5(?) blocks to get them softened to one punch for exp. but I’m a little confused by the “Redstone ladder” you used. Has there been a change that makes the “torch ladder (for lack of a better term)” inoperable? Or is the way you did it cheaper on resources? Not that it would be an issue (I have an iron farm), but is the golem necessary? Or is it’s job to funnel the 3x3 landing space to a 3x1 more manageable drop area?
Doesn't work, zombified piglin doesn't get attracted by the iron golem or by a turtle egg, they just stay in the center looking for the turtle egg above the lava, any help?
Built it. Had better luck with placing a turtle egg one block over and one forward by the golem. Also I noted better spawn rates as the platforms got further from the lava source. Perhaps building up a few more blocks over the lava chamber would be prudent. Built on the nether roof in java 1.16.2. Good design. Thanks.
hey please respond if you see this. I built the 30x30 farm, and it is really slow. when the piglins fall down, most of them burn up before they get attracted to the golem. how much do I need to spawnproof if it's on the nether roof?
I had a weird glitch where the piglins wouldnt aggro but if i relogged they did. i just put lava in the aggro chamber to pushh them down tho and it works.

I had the same issue so I converted the entire 5x5 in the middle into the drop/killing chamber. costs more resources but they just fall in that and die now instead of trying to pull them to the 3x1 killing hole
I have a solution. Just remove the glass blocks above the slabs in front of the golem. 6:32 don't place that glass block, place blocks above it. So that those pigs can see him
they didn't end them they gave us a warning that they will push the button when they fell like it. the aggro mechanism works in 1.16. it doesn't work in 1.16 pre release 3(or 4 not sure)
if u put 2 iron golens in two sides that piglins are accumulating (Where have lava), the efficiency of farm will be better? (Sorry for the bad english, im from Brazil)
For me, the pigmen only spawn on the layer below the glass, and the piglins just die in the lava, and also the pigmen and piglins dont get attracted to the iron golem so i put lava so they fall down

It would be nice if you could reply to the dozens of comments saying it doesn't work. When the pigmen fall through the lava they continue to be attracted to the egg above. They huddle in the middle and do not walk towards the chute. I have tried eggs instead of an iron golem. I have tried moving the iron golem up a slab. I have tried a golem and eggs. Nothing draws their attention away. The only thing that works is to break the egg above. Then they redirect their attention. That is way to much work for a few nuggets. Any idea why it doesn't work?
@@ChapmanMain My man, it is exactly the same. I mean I paused every 10 seconds. I had to fix it by adding lava sources at the back opposite the chute which slowly pushes them. Very slow, but afk-able now.
This didn't work for me but because the zombiefied piglings woulden't agro after an about an hour of work i figured out that u could fix it by putting lava buckets down on two sides of the chamber that the zombiefied piglings were supposed to be agroed by the iron golom.
You have to be 32 blocks away from any mob for it to spawn... So where ever you are going to afk or xp farm make the first platform 32 blocks above there.
Breed turtles with sea grass. (Don't bring the turtles to ur base) you only need 3 or 4 eggs so breeding them at their home will be good. They can only breed at their home beach.
Would it work on the nether roof? And I'm also wondering, in the design, it's a 7x7 box, and in the middle with no blocks is 5x5. The problem is that some of the walls are not placed withing the 7x7 radius, so the middle should be a 6x5, can you please clarify that? I need help
I feel like you gloss over a few steps here. I tried to follow as best as I could but the farm doesn't work that well. Not really understanding the 40x40 platform when the center of the farm is on an odd number. My Zombie Piglins aren't attracted to the Iron Golem or turtle eggs, and their spawn rate isn't that great in spite of building two 41X41 (?) platforms and building on the nether roof.
So I couldn't get the zombie piglins to attack the golem unless the golem had already attacked one. They're attracted to the egg, but eggs will need two spaces above them for undead mobs to attack them, I wonder if that's why so many people had problems with this. I'm also replacing the platforms with magma blocks to prevent piglin spawns
It surely is an impressive Farm, but i wonder why you can't just do the deathwell just directly under the first turtle eggs. If anyone could explain this to me I'd be very happy :)

How much do you have to despawn around the farm? Also, if you use buttons to you have to use buttons on every block?
Great tutorial but the smaller platform is 6 by 7 (5 by 5 with walls) 7 by 7 is too big for 25 signs

Yes you can build it out of anything that IS spawnable

This is happening to me too. A pretty good number agro on the golem but it gets kinda clogged up with ones that are just looking up at the lava

If you want to make it a xp farm too you can do the glass part 22 blocks hight so the pigmen stay on one hit with the fist

when he says 32 blocks in the air for the tube does he mean the 2 blocks he already placed plus 32 or 32 blocks in all including the ones he placed
You have to be 32 blocks away from any mob for it to spawn... So where ever you are going to afk or xp farm make the first platform 32 blocks above there.
