2 Things i have to add:
1. I think the repeater at 8:49 must be 2 (or 3) ticks, otherwise you don’t fall through (at least on my 1.16.4 server)
2. If you play on 1.16 every Redstone DOT must be a CROSS.

There are two ways to place a single Redstone Dust on the floor.
Either it looks like a Dot or like a Cross, you can change the mode by right clicking.
(except when it is connected to something else)

Cake is needed because it's not a full block and the hopper minecart will be able to put stuff in 2 hoppers at same time
Having made this just now, the items you need to make it are inaccurate. You're going to need an additional:
- 5 water buckets
- 4 repeaters
- 77 blocks to go into hopper clock
- 2 fences
- 1 trapdoor
- 4 lava buckets
Edit: You also don't use the 3 signs
Edit 2: You may run out of glass, bring extra as you see fit.

For players that built this on 1.20.4 or in a server, you have to adjust the spawning platform "y=247" and decrease it to "'y=241". So in 12:49 instead of building it up to y = 239, you have to build at y = 233.
The reason why the raid won't start is because the spawning area is not within the spawning radius of the player resulting in either the pillagers not spawning or de-spawning.

Edit: if this didn't work for you then try adjusting the height from 233-239.

I adjusted the platform and still doesnt work (1.20.6). the maximum height that I get the raid bar is y=194 so im confused, is it necessary to adjust the whole build?

**VERY IMPORTANT!!!!! READ BEFORE MAKING THE FARM!!**
Materials:
- You need 6 repeaters not 2
- You need 8 lava buckets not 4
Problems:
- To avoid vexs:
1. Use a diamond sword (idk if you can use a iron sword) with sharpness 5, sweeping edge 3 (if you can, use mending so the sword won’t break)
2. The block that is in the hopper minecart replace it with a path block by pushing a grass block in the hopper minecart and right click it with a shovel and replace the chest above you with a full block
- Some pillagers get stuck in the 3x3 water area on the fence just next to the hole at the glass level:
to fix this just break the fence
- If the trapdoor is opening and closing to fast and you don’t have the time to fall:
Put the repeater 8:50 at 2 ticks
- Bring with you a bucket of milk otherwise you won’t be able to stop the farm
- If you will AFK for a long time, I suggest you to put more chest or you will not have space for all the items

@@crackedexsalty9817 In my creative world I built this farm too close to a pillagers outpost and I had the same problem. If it is the case build the farm further away and hopefully it will solve the problem. Or you are going up to slowly and the pillagers dont have place to spawn so only 1 wave is spawning. Try building a bubble elevator you will go up faster (this is what I did)

Infinite circuit doesn't work. If you know how to solve it please let me know
for those who are looking to build it on a vanilla 1.20.6 server (or realm), you have to adjust the spawning platform height to 241 by building the drop to y=233. Also for the trapdoor to open correctly you need to set the repeater next to it to 2 ticks (1 click on it) and dont forget the strength beacon or otherwise you will have a lot of vexes spawning :)

@Berulio Gerundio i did forget the healing potion but fire res wont drop unless you set the witch on fire with fire aspect which you shouldn't use as any mob that dies to fire wont have the looting affect too

Nice tutorial! Some things werent working perfect so here are a few little fixes:
Problem: the trapdoors opened too fast so the player didnt have enough time to fall trough.
Fix: Set the repeater that opens the trapdoor to 2 ticks.
Problem: Some pillagers got stuck on a fence while going into the one wide drop hole.
Fix: In the 3 by 3 water area, remove the fence right next to the 1 wide hole, at the height of the glass floor.
Problem: Sometimes a vex could spawn making the player die.
Fix: What i did was making the block where the hopper minecart was in a grass path block and always having my autoclicker on 680 milliseconds.
Other fixes are:
Add some minecarts on powered rails around the killing chamber so that the vexes go in. They will despawn after a while.
Or
Look at rayworks his new design, with the lava that gets there while dropping down there will be no evokers left that can summon vexes. And also add a path block instead of the block where the minecart is in.

I have a problem with this clock, I do the exact things in the video and it dosent seem to work
@@thicc5118 There can be a few reasons for that:
1: If ur in bedrock it might not work
2: Maybe the items u did in the hopper werent 64 stackable
3: If its on a server there might be some plugins making it not work
4: Make sure everything is exactly the same

@@yacob5217 if its at the upper ice platform then you cant do much abouth it since the most pillagers just fall off by pushing eachother, normally they despawn after a while and you should be able to start new raids.
Like someone else said here about a month ago:
The farm DOES work on 1.21, BUT since Minecraft changed the raid mechanics, you have to drink an Ominous potion each time to start the next raid. So it isn't fully AFKable, HOWEVER it does still work. You just have to go back through the chests each time and drink another Ominous potion, which is pretty inconvenient but hey, at least it aint fully broken

If Vex are killing you, then apply on your sword sweeping edge 3. This will kill more pillagers Vindicators and evokers so they won't be able to summon Vex. Little update, make sure that you dont run the farm for too long, cause you can die. (Can be fixed by placing a beacon under you with Regen and resistance)

If you have trouble with the trap door not dropping you, stand on it, look to ur bottom right, next to ur feet u will see a repeater, set it to 2 ticks (adjust it once) and that will fix it.

I get stuck in the trapdoor while coming back up from the water elevator how can i fix that?
This is a great farm, there's a few issues in video though.
The list of materials is missing some repeaters, lava and water buckets.
Also the trap door will not drop you unless you set the repeater (8:48) to at least two ticks which is not shown in the video.

I have found the answer to the raids not spawning. The head of the bed needs to be on the same x and z coordinates as one of the corners of the packed ice platform. Then the mobs will be able to spawn.
Edit: If the farm still doesn't work go to Ray Works video on the farm. It is informative and more in depth on how the farm works.

@@hung64209 Hopefully this helps. The x and z coordinates of the head of the villagers bed(pillow side) needs to be the same as the x and z coordinates of one of the corners on the packed ice spawn platform.
1.16.2 working fine!! (even in a vanilla server)
I had some issues that I managed to resolve:
1.- Raid appearing outside of the ice platform: I just put slab in every beach, shore and stuff (water + slabs made a 100 x 100 area spawn proofed)
2.- Vex killing me: Enchanted Diamond Sword Sharpness 5 + Sweping Edge 3 (also beacon with Strength + Regen.)
3.- Trapdor not dropping me: just try to position yourself in front of the stone plate and walk until you touch it, then stop walking.
More solutions added by other players in the replies :)
with the trapdoor not dropping you turn your repeater to 4 ticks :)
Trapdoor drops me but I don’t automatically go into the bubble elevator.
Also, I have a netherite fully optimized sword with strength beacon and STILL I get vexes.
@@upd0g1 make sure to use sweeping edge three or it doesnt damage the evokers enough to kill them and they can still use there powers (just use sweeping edge three and sharp 5)

Please update the description. You actually need 8 lava buckets and 6 repeaters. Also, the repeater in front of the hopper clock (8:50) should be set to at least 2 ticks.

@@shikharnegishiggy8752 I'm afraid I don't. 4 ticks should be PLENTY of time. Is this on a multiplayer server? If so, it might be a timing/lag issue server side. If it's a single player world, then I have absolutely no idea why it isn't staying open.

The farm isn't fully AFK-able as in 1.21 you have to drink an Ominous Potion to get the Bad Omen effect. You no longer get it for killing raid captains.

i made this farm in 1.21 and it works but you need to make one extension and that is to take the bubble elevator which makes the raid activate a bit more down towards the villager so the raid happens and then when you go back up it takes about 20 seconds to kill them and finish the whole raid

I had some problem while functioning so I figured it out some for those who have the same issue.
1.Pillagers got stuck on the wooden fence where they should get pushed by water and go into the glass hole.
-> try putting the water up one block
2.The trap door opened, but didn’t let me down.
-> try setting the repeater right next to it to 2ticks or more.

or if the pillager sttill stuck, u can replace all the fence on top to a glass or whaterver block

Guys for anyone who are lazy to craft a cake, just use a water bottle to make a dirt block to mud and place it as a landing spot above hopper so that pillager's loot will go directly into the hopper

@@iStefqn This is a very dumb response. The reason is that it's especially crucial to press shift when placing blocks over the cake. This can easily be forgotten and cause someone to have to make another cake, which is a pain. It means having to gather more milk, eggs and flour. I didn't think this point about a warning to hold down shift would be difficult to understand by anyone, but apparently it is for some people.

I'll attach to this comment a vital bit of information that's not explained in the video.
When he starts the "engine" where he replaces the redstone and flips the leaver, you need to hold right click so the leaver flips twice, doing that starts the pistons and moves the trapdoors repeatidly.

Would it work on 1.17
I tried this farm out on my 1.17.1 smp and can safely say that it works... the only thing i had to change was the repeater timings behind the observer which powers the trapdoor from 1 tick to 3 as it was moving too fast and the player could not fall down. Usage of elytra and shulker boxes is highly recommended for convinience

If you're having trouble with the vex it might be because evokers can spawn them if they are not killed by the first hit from the player. You would need to upgrade your sword or get a strength beacon. Mine worked when I got sharpness V sweeping edge III and a strength/regeneration beacon.

This farm still works in 1.21 but you do need TinyTask for this farm. The micro needs to be holding right click for 2 seconds and it needs to wait out 1 minute and 30 seconds for drinking the ominous bottles. Also the hopper clock needs to have 2 stacks of items in it.
THERES A WAY TO PREVENT VEXES! REPLACE THE BLOCK ON TOP OF MINECART WITH A GRASS PATH BLOCK AND THE CHEST ON TOP OF AFK WITH BUILDING BLOCK! IT WILL PREVENT THEM FROM SPAWNING! 😀 HOPE THIS HELPS

fun fact: you can make a fletcher villager, do the zombie villager reduce trade trick, and effectively get 1 emerald in exchange for 1 stick. then use all the sticks you get from this farm and trade with the villager. just an extra bit of emeralds that you'll likely not need but who cares.

Tip: if, when you first start up the farm after finishing it, the trap doors attached to the sticky pistons do not alternate rapidly, try set both repeaters to 3 ticks instead of 2, worked for me. Also, you need 8 lava buckets not 4. Additionally, although not included in the video, it's definitely worth making a much larger storage with a filtration system and a way to dispose of garbage items (like crossbows) it'll be worth it I promise :).
you forgot totems are also unstackable so they will also be dropped(you might not want that)

If you're building it on 1.20, then it won't work, to solve that, simply just put any job block next to the bed to create a point of interest and then slab it up so it will work again!

I was having some issues in 1.18 just like other people and i found out a few things:
•Put the repeater for the dropping trap door on 3 ticks.
•Sweeping edge is a must.
•the farm starts slow then slowly builds up mobs on the ice which makes more mobs fall.
EDIT: Make sure the game difficulty is hard it will not work if its not.

Can't remember anything else but there are signs listed but are never used

why the mobs aren't respawning
I would recommend putting this repeater ---> 8:48 to a 3 tick that way you can fall through the trapdoor.
2 tick is enough
If the pillagers arent spawning the problem is that the pillow side of the bed needs to align with the north western most corner of the ice platform as the raid looks for a 5x5 platform to the south east. hope this Helps someone.

For anyone wondering about vexes, you will need a really strong sword, preferably diamond or netherite with sweeping edge 3 (to hit all of them at the bottom at the same time), sharpness 5 (because they're living mobs not undead so don't use smite!) and optionally unbreaking, mending and looting for maximum drops!

Tip: You could put 24 instead of 77 blocks (for max efficiency without Bad Omen stopping) in the hoppers, and also make your autoclicker click every second
Set autoclicker to click at exact 600ms interval. This works the best
adding 24 blocks in hopper clock actually spawned vexes for me :(

I died using this farm twice. i found that you need a really good sword to actually kill the raiders. I tested it with a normal diamond sword but vexes kept on spawning. when I tested it with a good enchanted sword (Sweeping edge 3 & Sharpness 4) nothing happened. I hope you guys keep that in mind before you lose your hardcore worlds to it
Hello so I have a sharpness 5 sword with fire aspect 2 and looting as well but i sadly don't have sweeping edge on it so do u think I'll have to get another sword with sweeping edge or will this do ?
@@pomogrenade8616 yes you need sweeping edge. Otherwise you might not kill everything and evokers can spawn vexes. I don’t recommend fully afking it in hardcore, they always have a small chance to spawn

Anyone wondering if this farm works in 1.21, it works fine. All that is different is the ominous bottles, you need to drink them once your in position on the trap door. Make sure all of the red stone dots are crosses and add 20-30 more blocks into the hopper clock that drops the trap door. This is because of the raid omen cool down.

This farm works perfectly in 1.19 if you just make one small adjustment. The repeater which is powering the trapdoor which makes you fall down has to be on 2 tics instead of one.

This farm is absolutely amazing, just make sure to set this 8:48 repeater to 2 ticks, and also I highly reccomend to make a bigger storage because this farm gets you full 2 double chests of loot in like 10 minutes. If you live near a village, I reccomend to always go there with a bucket of milk so you can get rid of the Bad Omen effect after you're done.

Tip for SMPs:
Some servers have the IllegalStack plugin to prevent duping, which doesn't allow blocks to be pushed into minecarts. So instead of placing the minecart, cake and the hopper below it, just place a hopper directly above the original one and make a slightly different storage system.
I tried that in a amp I'm in too, The issue is sometimes items get stuck on the side while a hopper in a minecart is faster to collect and assures to get all items, Ask the owner or admin to remove the plugin after you add your hopper in minecart, The owner/administrator can turn it on again.
or you can put a hoppercart under a path block (right click dirt with shovel) or soul sand

they die from fall damage if you do that... odd
