Agreed! The trio at the top blend together so well, and Carson's bassline is subtle without being too weak. But honestly the entire performance was amazing and even despite dozens of watches I'm struggling to take it all in! All four of them are so damn talented

I'm seeing similar sentiments in a lot of posts about this group. I think they've captured a mood: with the current diet of identikit, play-it-safe music that we're fed, here are four youngsters who are kicking back against that. They demonstrate, through their perseverance and single-mindedness, that it is possible for determined, talented people to achieve their goals, and in doing so, give hope to our own children.

josh i have been watching you for years. i am 68,. you were exceptional to start. you've surrounded yourself with exceptional young people along the way and i love watching the earlier videos. you always get better and better. talent tells. i think you are as good as anyone out there regardless of age or style. you are kind of like jerry garcia. you excel at rock but prefer hillbilly and harmony. you can play anything you hear. you have the understanding and the chops. you sing well and are easy to look at. don't know how to market you. in the old days a record company would do it for you. i got to hear a lot of sweet voiced young people on your early videos and great pickers too. i thank you for that. i guess the internet made that happen. it may have destroyed the record industry but for those who look there is a wealth of talent to witness. you are at a level where anyone who sees you perform is gobsmacked. best of life to you and thanx.

By now you're no doubt an addict. I found them a few months ago and within a couple of days had heard almost all of the songs they've posted on YT. These fellas are amazing musicians and they manage to cover songs in unusual ways that don't diminish the song at all. Case in point: I Saw Her Standing There, originally from the Beatles, now from The Other Favorites with banjo - and it works!
