Good morning nina, these are very pretty ornaments... it is happening, slowly thinking of the festive season, for me it always starts with lighting candles in the evening, thinking about when to put up the tree and startiing to create christmascards. I already see houses that have christmaslights, a bit early, but deep in my heart I love it, it brightens the sometimes dull, grey days of november. I wish you a good sunday and alovely week, love and hugs lenaxxx
Good morning Lena. We have just returned home from our Friend’s daughter’s wedding in a beautiful old Abbey. It looked very festive with all the pretty fairy lights and decorations on the tables at breakfast this morning, My decorations always go up on the 1st December, so not long to wait now. Although I am busy like you preparing cards and ornaments. It is a beautiful crisp sunny day here. Wishing you a wonderful week . Love and hugs, Nina 💕 xxxxx
I think I’ll have the grandchildren make some of these using photos of Christmases past. It’ll be a wonderful activity for those long days waiting for Santa to come. We’ll hang them on the tree -they’ll all be at the bottom of the tree since the children are still small. I know it will be an extra beautiful tree! Thank you so much, Nina, for giving me the idea!
They look so pretty Nina, yes I agree that scrapbooking paper makes it so much easier, I loved how they turned out and will have to have a go at doing some of these. Thank you for sharing, take care, Ali xx
Thank you so much Nina, I really really enjoyed watching you create these stunning and gorgeous little tree decorations. What a brilliant idea 💡 that is. And Stamperia paper is really really stunning too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Lovely, Nina. They are beautiful, indeed. On the desk, they looked a bit "Aunty Fan" as mum used to call things she saw as old fashioned but when you placed them on the wood circles made them stand out gorgeous. Plenty of scope there to put a lot of different images on them. Thank you for sharing. x
Yet again Nina you have inspired Me. I have little rounds of wood like this left over from our daughter's wedding reception. I have made some coasters for them but will now just have to make a Christmas tree decoration for their first Christmas. It will be brilliant. I have napkins from their wedding to decoupage. Thank you again 👏👏👏❤️
I think these are so lovely! Using the wax on the front of the image and then adding the distress at the edges again really made them look like aged ornaments that have been passed down over generations. Thank you for the inspiration! Janet 🤗👍💕🌲
Oh these are so pretty, Nina. I suppose they could be covered with Christmas cards saved from last year too. I'm always reluctant to throw out the really pretty ones. Hm, you've given me lots to think about -as ever! :-D Great project!!
Absolutely love how you have used last years Christmas cards Edna. What a great idea. Using cards or paper takes the step of pre gessoing out of the equation which you need to do if using napkins. So much quicker and easier in my opinion 💕
Ooh I love these, simple and easy to make, yet very effective. I love the wax, but not sure if I'd be able to resist putting a bit of glitter on these beauties. 😅
These are just beautiful. I'm looking for ornament tutorials for my Woodland themed Christmas tree. These will help out a lot. Thanks for the inspiration! ❤❤❤
Hi Nina, once again you've come up with a great idea. These are absolutely beautiful. I do like the Stamperia paper it's feminine and pretty. The waxing gives a wonderful finish to the project. Definitely going to make some, I have some wooden disks. Thanks for sharing 👍💛🤗
Wow, the chalk wax really finishes them off, Nina! Love these! I have white paint I can dilute. But what can I use to condition the ornament like the chalk wax does? Maybe beeswax I use for conditioning my quilting thread? I'm just trying not to have to buy anymore supplies, but to use what I already have (which already overwhelms me). I'm downsizing for my mental health.😏) I used ModPodge on the grandkids' ornaments, last year. But, I like these so much better.☺️
I love this paper pad from Stamperia 😍😍I’m not a big fan of pink papers, but I am obsessed with these papers. You made gorgeous decorations! Have a wonderful week😘x
I just love all of the ornaments you made, I wasn’t sure about the white wax but, you’re right, it really picks them up! Perfect prompt as we draw closer to the holidays, so many possibilities without a lot of time spent. Thank you for another inspiring video and have a great week!💕🇨🇦
Absolutely love these! So simple but very effective. Some glitter around the edges with some tiny fairy lighting would make them look fab on the Christmas tree, don't you think, Nina?
Thanks Veronica. They look so pretty hanging on the tree and the white wax really adds a beautiful touch, perhaps I will try adding a bit of glitter ❤️
Very lovely Nina. I wasn't sure about the wax at first because I'm a purist when it comes to wooden furniture [no paint please], but it turned out looking like it was frosted with snow. Super cute! Very inspirational as always.
Just gorgeous, Nina. In my opinion, the roses are just as Christmas as anything else, after all we have heard of the Christmas rose. Anyway, your project turned out quite wonderfully.
Love them! They could be used as gift tags with a holiday sentiment written on the back. Or date it for an heirloom tree decoration… so many possibilities! Jan
Those are so beautiful!! I was looking for something to decorate a little tree that I bought from a after Christmas sale. Love your channel. Thank you.
Hi Nina! I love these ornaments. The chalk wax us a beautiful touch. I like the misty appearance. Don't you just afore Mark Montano?! He's such a cutie and has the neatest ideas.
Nice project! Art Glitter Glue has taken a long time to get to me from Amazon even though I'm in the US. In the meantime I have filled my bottle with Aleene's Quick Dry Tacky Glue which has worked fine.
Thanks Gail. I have some Aleens and have never been very impressed, but I think that’s due to the rubbish bottle it comes in. I will try decanting it 💕
They are Gorgeous, Nina..Do you do any craft classes? I believe you are in Worcestershire?, I live near Clifton on Teme...I would love to do some craft classes, but there dosnt seem to be any near here.
@@NinaRibenaMixedMedia thank you...I actually used my obvious last remaining brain cell last night and guessed that !!!!!! thank you for answering so promptly xxxx
Loved these! Please see below for the best parts (imo). One caveat - I would have really appreciated a note in the description box giving the Names of the Products used - especially the White Wax & the Ink. (I love using Affiliate links because that allows me to support people whose work I enjoy at the same time, it's hugely Convenient.) Otherwise, without the notes in the description box, I had to Re-watch the video (which is time consuming) or take notes during the original presentation (which is distracting). Please don't be offended by these suggestions. Purely intended as constructive criticism - hopefully you can gain some financial support from your channel if you follow the suggestion of affiliate links? I Just Love the way these turned out!! Using the White Wax especially on Top of the paper was a brilliant choice & really took these to the "next level" & made them look like something purchased in a shop or from a professional Artist / Maker (rather than the decoupage I first made at summer camp type of project). Going back & re-inking was brilliant too. I really appreciate seeing ALL the steps! Thanks for sharing these!
It's always so nice that you give alternatives to the products you use because I don't always have the same product as you. Thanks! 👍😄
Thanks Marina, glad the alternatives are helpful 💕

Thanks Cindy. I was originally intending on using treasure gold, but decided on the wax instead as I thought it would be softer with the pink 💕🎄
So pretty! I’ve been using my bead reamer for the holes. Thank you for sharing ❣️
Thanks Joan. Great idea to use a bead reamer ❤️
I like the waxy look to them, I thought the paper would crinkle but it didn’t 😮💨😍🧚♀️
Thanks Purple Fairy. I think it’s because I sprayed the back of the paper with water first. I don’t know why it works, but it does 💕🎄 x
