Some people recomend for the oil change to drive the vehicle a short time before draining the oil because I guess hot oil flows better and the oil picks up more of all the wastes.? Also some people, who go by what the dipstick shows recomend to fill oil till the full mark, drive it a bit to have the oil go everywhere (oil filter) then recheck the dipstick and refill accordingly. Hey, I just bought a set of quick jacks, a little pricey but if you rotate your tires regularly they will save you so much time compared to moving the jack and jack stands. Plus taking the weight off to break or torque the tires is easy.
The only oil filter for the 3.5L that compares with toyota's OEM is WIX, so nothing wrong there. However Havoline's detergents is subpar to OEM which is contracted 0W20 Mobil 1 synth, so I'd quit using that, only only oil I'd go with over OEM is Royal Purple dexos, not that XPR stuff in 0W20. I also average around 26k/yr and in cold climates so I care a lot more about engine/trans/diff condition than suspension, tires and brakes.

Hi 👋, nice wheels Pro tip: 10:09 instead of letting the entire weight of the truck onto the wheels, then torque. When you’re lowering ur truck with the jack, right when the treads of the tire contact the floor (tires cant spin). Lock the jack, and torque at that moment..the weight of the truck is supported by the jack, and isn’t affecting the load on the wheels. So u get an even torque. Lower jack after torquing
I use my spare tire to rotate my tires because I don't want to trust my jack that much. And it gives you the chance to lower your spare down so it doesn't get rusted shut and then you can't lower it down when you need to
Thanks for another great and informative video. I love Chevron products. My Tacoma only gets Chevron gas. Getting the fuel system cleaner has been challenging here in Canada.
Looks like you used one jack stand. Probably should use two. Floor jacks is really more for just lifting a vehicle. But could be used as a secondary protection or putting one of the wheels underneath once removed as a secondary protection. While working on your second wheel.
I bought O'Reilly Conventional oil , when I'm finished changing the oil, I poured the used oil in the O'Reilly oil bottle and recycle at O'Reilly auto part store.

Chloe, Toyota recommends oil change at every 10,000 miles. I personally do not like it but since I bought mine new from them and it came with 2 free oil change, nevertheless they still declined the 5K oil change. What's your thoughts about it?
Change your oil every 5k. It's so much better for longevity. Your engine will certainly survive with 10k oil changes, but it will eventually start burning oil.
Salt bent folks. Take the skid plate off and put anti seize on them bolts every or every other year. And for the oil filter cover bolts... Anti seize almost every time. Trust me.
When I rotate my tires I always move the rear to the front on the same side then cross the front to the back because my tires are not directional tires.
Where can you safely put the jack to lift one side of the truck? Anywhere the frame is flat? Is it strong enough? My last vehicle was unibody where most of the structure was NOT an okay place to put a jack...
Had do you reset the maintenance reminder I have a 2021 TRD Off road with premium audio and was told to go to the gear symbol and scroll down to maintenance reset but mine doesn't have the maintenance reset there
I am looking forward to getting a Tacoma and modifying the suspension. Heard lots of good stuff on the Dobinsons. Not going to be doing a lot of off roading. Want to keep it close to stock as I will be more on pavement. Which set would you consider if you were to go with the Dobinsons MRR 3 way? Thank you for your time!
You should never oil the underside of the air filter! You will get oil on your mass air flow sensor. You only oil the up side of the filter. The oil will get pulled through with the air. Also you should only clean the filter about every 40k miles. Unless it is dirty. Otherwise you are just wasting money on cleaner.

Chloe, looks like you have a nice floor coat in your garage... what kind of floor coating do you have?
What torque wrench are you using?
Thanks Chloe, great content.
Where can you safely put the jack to lift one side of the truck? Anywhere the frame is flat? Is it strong enough?
My last vehicle was unibody where most of the structure was NOT an okay place to put a jack...
Had do you reset the maintenance reminder I have a 2021 TRD Off road with premium audio and was told to go to the gear symbol and scroll down to maintenance reset but mine doesn't have the maintenance reset there
There’s a video out there showing that the oem oil filter is the worse when it come to filtering

Great video. Well done girl!!
Thank you for your time!
i really like the method wheels ,
Excellent video, thank you.
I always cringe when I see people use bad oil on cars they love. Especially car people.
You're awesome ' thank you !
You can get those clamps for the air box on eBay for like under 10mbucks
Trans & 4x4 system w/ rear & front diff fluid change
