Really its not hard if the sniper is either spinning or headshots you when invis or if they flick to your head if you are behind or beside them even if you didnt alert them or they killed to a second you rounded a corner (last one varies)
When starting: focus on Heavies and Medics from a nice hiding spot on the map. As you advance and get better and better, focus on other classes, and even go for scunts sometimes. Eventually, you should be able to comfortably use Sniper as an attack class. One of my personal favorite sniper rifles is the Bazaar Bargain, which decreases how long you have to charge the rifle by stacking up heads from headshots, similar to Demoman's eyelander sword. That "Guitar Hero aim" is just predictive aiming - FAR more useful than simple tracking, especially with ping differences. You always want your crosshair to be just ahead of your target to make your job easier. Protips (from CS:GO which work): * Keep your crosshair at head height! That way you only have to do horizontal flicks rather than horizontal AND vertical flicks * Hold common angles! We all know about the battlements of Teufert, or playground on Upward, but as a Sniper you can really hold just about any angle you expect people will come around. With enough practice (and balls) you can even hold really close angles inside of doorways * Change position often! If you peek an angle and miss your shot on an enemy Sniper, you've just lost the advantage - if you repeek, there's a good chance that the Sniper will be waiting for you and kill you. Instead, change your angle, even if only slightly - it can be enough to throw your opponent off and get the kill. * BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS! Listen out for the sound of gunfire (most weapons sound unique, especially between classes), decloaks, stabs, failstabs and death screams. i am an f2p. and i am accused of aimbot by ppl in mge servers. most of the time its either luck or skill with me becuz the times i can actually SEE the screen i almost always land headshots. unfortunately i play on 40 fps with 90 ping so interp settings don't even matter lol

As a Medic, always feel free to Uber anyone playing any class at the right time to deal blows and make a play on the board. Invincible sniper can swallow a whole team from a distance as quick as a heavy up close if they can't escape his sight. I've ubered spies before to take out nests but also engies, to protect their gear by absorbing the damage. Scattergun is a good weapon to kritz as well as any spy or sniper primary. In the right situation any move has the potential to change things, you just have to play aggressively and support each other.
bruhhhh huntsman still takes aim. You still need some "skill" to use it. In some cases using a sniper rifle is better but since the arrows take longer to hit the opponent it can be harder to use it. Depends on the situation

Maybe. I won't deny it. But it's kinda understandable after seeing the things I have seen... Countless matches lost just because the scout felt it was way more important to dispatch a single sniper who was no problem rather than capping the point... Scouts that target you just because you are a sniper (and they know they are super effective against you) and don't leave you be... Scouts that taunt after every kill on you (without previous taunt)... I mean, if the enemy sniper is really posing any threat, why just not go spy or sniper and kill him like you are supposed to? Going scout it's just a dick move that will get you probably killed if he has a good team backing him. But nooooo, they have to play the "omg awsome fantastic scout is fantastic" ciberbully. The worst part is that most of those are useless going out of anything that is not scout. If at least, he could switch and you could have a great med or a nice spy... but then again no. Actually the game is about capping objectives and defending stuff mostly... Well "ciberbully" might be a bit to over the top, but that's why I added the "minature" at the begining. It's not the killing itself, I mean it would be stupid to be mad about that. It's that "attack the weak, no matter what, and then mock them" mindset that I despise. I have too killed a lot of players that where "weaker" than me (less experiencied) going for the streak and sometimes taunted them, BUT: a) I normally taunt because they're being dicks or trying to proof them they are doing something wrong (aka m1 pyro that walks in a straight line) (b) I normally apologize if i'm being way too asshole. For example: I once went jumping soldier and begined a killstreak on new snipers with melee. At 14 I noticed that one of them ragequitted and another one told me that i was being a little bit dickish. I apologize, and switched targets, because they weren't even a threat to begin with. First of all, notice how it's a fair fight: They are 3, im one, and I only can use melee. Second: I wasn't sacrificing the objective, it was well guarded. Third: I apologized because it was way too targeted and focused. What normally happens with those kinds of scouts is: They rush you, they kill you, they mock you with taunts and/or binds, they repeat the whole thing until you are forced to switch class (In which case, you normally anal rape them because OMG HEAVY/ENGIE IS SO FOR N00BS AND CANCER, and they don't know there's a life after scout). I mean, not to be "class racist" but why do you think scouts are called sometimes "scunts"? That would be all, ladies and gents. P.D: Some actitudes in videogames reflect actitudes in real life, just sayin.
What makes me downright horrible at sniping, is the fact that when I flick-track aim, right when I'm about to shoot someone, my hand freaking spasms a ridiculous amount... Might be a good idea to practice seperating the wrists' movement and the arm's movement. Best way to do this is to get an armchair and/or space yourself out from your computer/mouse while you snipe.
Iandiamond I use guitar hero aim and track aim alot. I only flick when I'm feeling like I tried LSD for the first time (in this case, I sub LSD for caffeine)
American Flag, Made in China I had the same aim problem and one day I tried doing that. At the end of the day my KD went from being around 3:13 to 8:10

This tutorial is 8 years old and I'm shocked, because it actually helped me. I always loved Sniper as a class, but my main problem was that... well, I just never was good at it! Aim was one thing, but dying all the time was another. Today I found this video and decided to watch it and give it a try. Damn! It was like playing a completely different game! Got over 12 kills and died maybe 2-3 times. Not to mention, on a map I didn't even know that well. For me that's a HUGE progress when it comes to Sniper! Thank you so much for this video! :D
Yazite ALL revolvers have a 'Accuracy cool down' That means if you shot a bunch, your cool down is longer. The time it takes to reload is about the same time for the cool down to reset.

Sydney sleeper, the best sniper, with the best kit. shoot teamates to extinguish them if they are on fire. Fully charged shots splatter jarate when they hit. Secondary is a backpack that gives you health regen, stops aim flinching, snd prevents knockback. The bushwaka, the melee weapon, turns all mini crits into crits. Darwins danger shield also included. The kit name is "croc-o-style" kit

People will love you for the way you treat them (assuming that they're not toxic players).

Scouts that target you just because you are a sniper (and they know they are super effective against you) and don't leave you be... Scouts that taunt after every kill on you (without previous taunt)... I mean, if the enemy sniper is really posing any threat, why just not go spy or sniper and kill him like you are supposed to? Going scout it's just a dick move that will get you probably killed if he has a good team backing him. But nooooo, they have to play the "omg awsome fantastic scout is fantastic" ciberbully. The worst part is that most of those are useless going out of anything that is not scout. If at least, he could switch and you could have a great med or a nice spy... but then again no. I'm super salty against scouts while sniping, but trust me, it is a issue they have brought themselves upon. Sorry for long post. P.D: I know you! Actually the game is about capping objectives and defending stuff mostly... Well "ciberbully" might be a bit to over the top, but that's why I added the "minature" at the begining. It's not the killing itself, I mean it would be stupid to be mad about that. It's that "attack the weak, no matter what, and then mock them" mindset that I despise. I have too killed a lot of players that where "weaker" than me (less experiencied) going for the streak and sometimes taunted them, BUT: a) I normally taunt because they're being dicks or trying to proof them they are doing something wrong (aka m1 pyro that walks in a straight line) (b) I normally apologize if i'm being way too asshole. For example: I once went jumping soldier and begined a killstreak on new snipers with melee. At 14 I noticed that one of them ragequitted and another one told me that i was being a little bit dickish. I apologize, and switched targets, because they weren't even a threat to begin with. First of all, notice how it's a fair fight: They are 3, im one, and I only can use melee. Second: I wasn't sacrificing the objective, it was well guarded. Third: I apologized because it was way too targeted and focused. What normally happens with those kinds of scouts is: They rush you, they kill you, they mock you with taunts and/or binds, they repeat the whole thing until you are forced to switch class (In which case, you normally anal rape them because OMG HEAVY/ENGIE IS SO FOR N00BS AND CANCER, and they don't know there's a life after scout). I mean, not to be "class racist" but why do you think scouts are called sometimes "scunts"? That would be all, ladies and gents. P.D: Some actitudes in videogames reflect actitudes in real life, just sayin.
What makes me downright horrible at sniping, is the fact that when I flick-track aim, right when I'm about to shoot someone, my hand freaking spasms a ridiculous amount...

Might be a good idea to practice seperating the wrists' movement and the arm's movement. Best way to do this is to get an armchair and/or space yourself out from your computer/mouse while you snipe.
Iandiamond I use guitar hero aim and track aim alot. I only flick when I'm feeling like I tried LSD for the first time (in this case, I sub LSD for caffeine)

This tutorial is 8 years old and I'm shocked, because it actually helped me. I always loved Sniper as a class, but my main problem was that... well, I just never was good at it! Aim was one thing, but dying all the time was another.
Today I found this video and decided to watch it and give it a try. Damn! It was like playing a completely different game! Got over 12 kills and died maybe 2-3 times. Not to mention, on a map I didn't even know that well. For me that's a HUGE progress when it comes to Sniper! Thank you so much for this video! :D

A good tip with the amby is to always reload. For whatever reason, the first shot in the clip is more accurate.
Yazite ALL revolvers have a 'Accuracy cool down' That means if you shot a bunch, your cool down is longer. The time it takes to reload is about the same time for the cool down to reset.
Make those 25 shots counts
Also pyro player if you see a sniper using a bow give them your flame to set their arrows on fire and that does massive damage
