The big road trip across Eurasia has started, in the first day we go to see the The Buzludzha Monument in Bulgaria and then ride across Bulgaria till we get close to the border with Turkye where we spend the night.

Great touring :) I’m waiting for the windscreen for my Piaggio Medley to arrive from eBay, then I’d afford myself longer journey. The longest ride so far was 300 km 😅

Also the Shipka monument dedicated to the defending of the Shipka pass (1877) and pushing off the Ottomans is 6kms from Buzludzha and on the main road. I don`t know if you have missed it or just didn`t plan to visit it. Great video anyway.

Sorry but I was hoping you forgot your second camera (facing your body, going backwards as a viewer) at home. Just want the ordinary cockpit view seeing the road and the beautiful view up ahead. I don't get the point in recording the body when riding, adds nothing to the video. Guess I just have to skip those parts.

I am an employee of SYM Romania as a technical consultant. The support I got was from my local dealership, they basically gave me spare parts for free to have on the trip in case something broke, SYM the manufacturer hasn't sponsored the trip in any way. And yes, you can travel with just a little scooter, it's nice to have a big bike, but it's not necessary.

The Buzludzha monument was build to celebrate 80 years of the founding of the Bulgarian Socialdemocratic party (the predecessor of the communist party) that took place right at the same place. It was supposed to be the future governing spot of the communist party. After years of ruining and possibly collapse, it was repaired in 2022 by a volunteer organization and no help from the government at all. In 2023 there is still a lot of work to be done to be renovated and restored to its original shape, but it is safe to enter and is actually open for tourists.
Might go back to vizit if it's open.

I was thinking can I go from my country Kosovo to Turkey with 125 cc scooter? I have been there before with bus,and usually is a long highway? What do you think?
You can always take the back roads and avoid the highway, much better scenery and much more enjoyable
@@RideWithAlex Thank you,sir.My scooter has one backdraw it has air cooled 8.5 engine.It is not very punchy!
