beautiful ride, greetings from Malaysia. the SYM Husky 150 is currently a hot sale, but people here worried about after sales because SYM is not as good as Yamaha and Honda which these two dominate the market.
Hello Alex, once again a great video. After watching some of your road trip videos with the ADX 125, I feel encouraged to have bought the ADX 125. It only took me 2 days to get the first service done. ADX 125 is a great scooter. Where did you order the Touring Wind shield? Best regards 😉👍
We have it at the dealership. Ask your local dealer or search aliexpress. Also if you wait givi is coming out with a windscreen and a luggage rack for the ADX.
Bulgarian here. It is unwritten rule to wave at other bikers but the scooters are sometimes not considered as motorcycle by the motorcycle purists, that is why they don't wave at you.. Probably thinking you are some kind of delivery rider or something on that nature with the short sleeves.
Glad you took the ADX dude, great for endurance that bike :). also, is that windshield an optional extra or an aftermarket item as my stock one is smaller?
Hi Alex, At the OMV fuel station you said "Super 100+, oh, hell no", and went for the 95 :). I guess the main two reason are the price and the fact that the scooter will run just as fine with 95 octanes. Being a 125cc rider myself (a Chinese scooter), I'm wondering - in long term, does it matter if I use 95 or 98 or 100 octanes? I didn't really notice any performance difference, the acceleration and the top speed are pretty much the same with any fuel. But is higher octane value better in any way for keeping the engine "healthy" in the long run? Thanks :)
The octane rating of fuel refers to the fuels ability to resist detonation. When the piston compresses the mixture inside the cylinder, your fuel must be stable enough not to auto-ignite and to wait to be ignited by the spark plug at the right moment. If you run a high performance engine with very high compression (like say a yamaha R1 with 200+bhp from 1000cc) then you need the 100 octane fuel because 95 might detonate and damage your engine. But in this and every regular scooter it will rung just fine on 95, some will even run just fine on 93 or 90 (if you cand find it anywhere). So putting 100 octane into a vehicle that doesn't require it all you're doing is paying more for your fuel and getting nothing in return.
Hello Alex! Great video as always.😊 The ADX seems to be a cool little machine. Is this still the factory windscreen? How was that on such distance? Did you use your ear plugs? Be bad!😊 Cheers!😊
The windscreen is and OEM upgraded windscreen, I didn't use any ear plugs at the speed the adx goes I was ok with just a helmet. The scoot was comfortable long distance, had no pains after many hours in the saddle.
