It’s amazing how small bike engines can run pegged wide open all day long day after day. I have a Honda Varadero 125 but with a big bore it’s nearer 170 I think. 120 kph is top speed but wow it notices hills like yours does. I love it to bits and I am not sure if I will ever try a bigger heavier machine. Every trip is an adventure on a small machine. 😂
These little engines are designed to run all day at full throttle, most people forget that. Sure they run at high rpm, but because they produce little power the stress on the components is low. And high rpm as long as it not overreved and you have good oil pressure will never kill an engine, but stress does.
Nice video. I hope you come again. I have to tell you that you have given some wrong information. First: the "tree line" trees can grow at much higher altitudes than you may know. It depends how far you are away from equator. In some regions of Turkey, you can see trees at above 3000 meters. Second: The Kızıldağ Pass is not the highest paves road in Turkey. There are asphalted roads at an elevation of 2500 meters. Next time when you are on the road in Turkey, I hope we can meet and ride some nice tracks in my region Ağrı. thank you again for this good video.
Breathtaking views, you completely revive the experience with your reactions!! Happy the SYM duets had no hiccups on this leg of the trip! Actually the RK 150 of friendly lad Furkan is a Keeway brand sport bike.
Loved the cultural comments to go along with the Turkish traffic flow and it being a different weather pattern in Turkey during early summer?👍🏻Was pulling hard for Donnie on those hills, sweet little thing was trying hard to get you where you wanted to go?! Great ride video. Rola (Oregon / USA)
Yes, nice scenery. I was thinking the entire Video "is this the place which inspired the Win Xp wallpaper?". I saw in Georgia are even more like these.
I have a throttle lock, look carefully at the throttle you will see a small triangular piece that I use to lock the throttle in place and it's basically like a cruise control.
@@thebikegeekandmore2448 between 3-4l/100km. It's not as good as you would hope but I wasn't using him the way he was meant to be used. Climbing big mountains at full throttle for hours on end does eat up a bit of fuel :))
@@RideWithAlex i meant a part under the scooter, that uses to break and causes engine oil leak...i read on a forum....i'm waiting for my symphony st 200 arriving in Semptember!😉
Enjoy watching your trip and the way you present it makes me wish I was there.
Thank you.

16:17..."east bound and down..." lol....Never expected that. Have you lived in the US, or living there now ? I think we got us a CONVOY !
Not lived in the US but I'm a pasionate trucking fan, the call of the road runs through my veins 😁

On Wikipedia it said it was the highest paved road but hey Wikipedia isn't always right but it takes nothing away from the beauty of the place 😁

I did not know it was a keeway, the thing didn't look like much but the engine ran like a cherry, fired up on the first kick and had some go to it 😁

The little engine that could and it's still doing it :D
Nice road trip 👍👌
Thank you
😂 The "Smokey and the Bandit" reference at 16:14 . I mentioned that a few times in my Cannonball videos, but nobody noticed. 😂 --QM
One of my favorite movies 😁😁😁 it fit my direction of travel, I had to do it!

Georgia is more about mountains, Armenia is more of this 😁
nice video Alex keep going
Working on the next one :) I post them as soon as they are done.
Perfect drive. Quick question. How come you release the throttle and the bike keeps on going?. Cruise control?
I have a throttle lock, look carefully at the throttle you will see a small triangular piece that I use to lock the throttle in place and it's basically like a cruise control.
When the man who says it’s closed has a machine gun then you know it really is closed!😂
Yep 😂
at the end of the series, please, tell us how much did it cost you (gas, hotel etc) 🙏
I will
Sir, could you please tell us what your avaerage speed has been during the trip? I am also considering to buy a small scooter for a trip.
It depends, 80-90km/h was my cruising speed, but sometimes on big hills or at high altitude it could climb with 50-60km/h.
@@RideWithAlex Thank you for reply. I forgot to also ask for average fuel consumption? Your videos are great. Stumbled today on to your videos😀

After all of these km...do you notice problems with the flange or other things??
I didn't have any problems on the road, but what flange are you talking about I don't understand?

@@genniferrante if you are referring to the oil drain plug, that parts is very cheap and it brakes because people overtighten it.
