Raceroom is a sim and doesn't have pit crew animation
For everyone complaing about the pitstop speed: this game is a simulation of the blancpain gt series, in which there is a rule for pit-stop timing: you cannot change tyres in less than 22sec, and cannot refuel in less than 40sec. Now honestly i am not sure if they can change tyres and refuel at the same time, and i know there is something called "joker-pit", but i am not sure what is it about; anyway the pit in this game is based it should respect those timing. Anyway the animations still sucks.
I think they are quite decent for a sim game, where you are inside the cockpit anyways.
Its so difficult to make proper animations? Come on Kunos

The pit stops are not finished yet. This is just pretty much a beta state of it. On the roadmap it clearly says there will be "full pitstops"
every pitcrew has its own jedi master who force-lifts the car so the tyres can be changed

I think the animation is ok, but there is something important in animation which is called "timing"
A good timing in a 3D animation means you have contrast with slow and fast gesture/moves etc.
Here it's just linear and without any life.
So yeah the moves are good but thge timing is completely wrong, work on that please Kunos for the next build

Animations are a little wonky but I'm sure they will only get better. Grab turismo pit stops looks amazing. I think that is the benchmark currently.

It's not pre-rendered dumbass.
I don’t know about pre rendered, but the pit stops in GT Sport are really just like a short little cutscene that barely shows what’s going on. In some tracks your car automatically teleports from the pit entry to the pit box in like less than a second (*COUGH* Interlagos *COUGH*), and everyone’s pit box is the same. If you check any replay of an enduro, you can see that the cutscene for everyone happens in the same pit box. It’s easily seeable in BB raceway that everyone pits under the number 33 (or whatever it is) pit box.
Pleb King The pit stops in GT Sport are like that for a reason, because that way everyone will have a fair pit stop without losing time for stupid reasons like bugs, glitches or other cars slowing you down, pit stops in GT Sport are still the best.

Im pretty sure these GT cars have pressurized jacks that shoot out from underneath the car and hold it up which is why there's nobody lifting up the car.

Dang assetto corsa has improved its graphics
Not really. Only thing that changed was the motion blur. If anything, it feels like a step back in graphics.. looks like a 2014 PS3 game.
Not harping on the devs for the animations, but given the nature of the game, and the reality-factor that it's defined for, wouldn't it be fair to expect better animations?

I just started playing after I was gifted this game. However every time I enter the pits my car just starts rolling and then stops short of the pit
box. The gas pedal is not working when in the pits. What am I doing wrong??
So are we just going to ignore the fact that an AMG GT3 just casually parks and blocks the pit crew of the M6 GT3 to change tires? That guy should get a black flag for that right?

Iwannafly car needs to be refueled anyway. If the tires are changed more quickly, you still need to wait before the refueling is done, so it's pointless.

There is a minimum time for doing pitstop in blancpain (22sec for tires, 40sec for fuel), I think kunos respected that rule in the game.

Les pits stops de GT Sport sont full scriptés. Techniquement tu ne rentres même pas au stands.

Guys, look at here: ua-cam.com/video/PGsTEtLCTvc/v-deo.html Blancpain GT race at Nurburgring, AMG GT racer. Two people changin tires, it takes them 30 seconds to do so - exactly the same as in the game. But yes, there are teams that can do it couple of seconds faster, especially in "practice" mode

There is a rule about pitstop timing, in blancpain they cannot pit in under 22sec if they change only the tires, or 40sec if they refuel.
