      Highlighter ink can actually work as a dye. For nail polish? I'm not sure, but Peter Brown did prove that it can dye resin, and it even glows under a black light. So if it can dye resin, it might be able dye a clear nail polish.

    Fun fact: there are trace metals in ink, like copper. This is why when you burn a newspaper, theres green fire. When copper is involved in a combustion reaction, it burns a bluish-green.
    Also, copper is slightly magnetic.

    Doesnt that smell nauseating? I once cut into a pen and the ink was so smelly it made me feel sick. It doesn’t necessarily smell bad, just really strong.

    Hot glue is a very useful thing, I’m sure lots will agree with me on that so I want to see what the craziest things you can do with several pounds of it. If stuck in the foundry, will it boil if it gets hot enough in large quantities? Who knows? I’d like to see it get tested by the King of Random!

      I do not agree. There are so many other better glues out there. Hot glue is really not that great. It doesn’t stick like the more liquid glues. Without a roughed up surface, it will almost never stick.

      @@thereal3064 well, the fact that something is liquid doesn't mean it can conduct electricity. A substance can only conduct electricity when the electrons can move around freely, wich is only possible in metal and molten or dissolved salt.

    I think it’s kinda weird that the first thing you tested was to see if ink was magnetic
    The 3 elemental metals that are metallic are:
    Iron (I)
    Nickel (N)
    Cobalt (C)
    INC = INK

    Its more to do with air pressure instead of air bubble. Im sure almost any substance that are in liquid form at room temp will expand alot in vacuum cuz of take away about 7kg off.
    Unless the liquid is heavy

    there is some older inks that use iron shavings as an ingredient, most modern ink is a petrol (plastic) product which give a metallic hue.

    you should try putting the ink in the freeze dryer but with water too and another experiment would be putting a soap bar/ liquid soap in. another cool thing would be highlighter ink or like some bright colored paint or something. ooh what about putting some leaves or plants in the freeze dryer that would be cool.     It would be super cool to see a video/series of videos experimenting with ink from different kinds of pens. For example: gel pens and glitter gel pens, erasable pen ink, fountain pen ink and/or India ink, Sumi ink(not pen ink but it's used for Japanese brush lettering and art), and any other pens you can think of.

    Rhe dry uce creates a gaseuos layer over it which prevents the ink from sticking to it but try chilling an object with dry ice and dip it in ink

      The oils weight isn't necessarily what makes it float on water, it's the mass and density. Water is more dense than oil funnily enough and that means it sits underneath oil. I think what you mean is, if you get a really high density oil, can you float on top?

    Can you stain glass with ink or mix the glass with ink. She mentioned that it looked like stained glass! But I don't know if the titanium oxide or copper-ink alloy with affect the glass!

    You guys should totally see what happens to Seaweed Alginate when it cures inside a vacuum chamber! That stuff cures super fast, so it would be cool to see it in a vacuum chamber in both the cured and un-cured state!

    I think it would be cool to line a vacuum chamber with paper and let the ink over flow a small cup or possibly the cold in in puddles on it to see the different patterns that come from the bubbles in the ink. Also think maybe the ink at low pressures might be converting into a gas would love to see a comparison between vaced ink and fresh drawn ink
