I still remember them raising $ for his family by selling live in eindhoven cuz he was going in for experimental brain surgery...gone too soon 🥺 but what joy they brought 😎🤘

Children of Bodom helped me through a lot of suicidal times. Rest in power dearest Alexi. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for opening the door to metal music. If it wasn’t for Bodom, I would not be a metalhead today.

Alexi laiho has always been like a brother to me whom i never met personally just was fortunate enough to see him live once. A brother who has always been beside me through happiness and sorrow through his music. RIP brother.

Alexi should probably try out meditation or something. I guess silence scares people because of what comes out in you without distractions. I get that, I mostly listen to something all the time as well but it can help you to just sit down in silence and meditate sometimes.

Such a cool guy and he has been an inspiration for my playing in a big way. My first chance I got to see COB was last year and unfortunately he was feeling awful and suffering from a throat virus, but I will be damned if he didn't come out and play anyways!

You guys are watching it again? Got recommended. My first metal t-shirt that I chose from my elder brother's old pile of t-shirts was children of bodom. Hate me, but I'm not sorry for me about his loss. I got awesome music from him. I won't miss him. He will always be with the music with me.
I know why you fear total silence: because that's when your brain starts to work hahahaha such a bullshit. Every great man in history, specially the saint ones, loved to be alone in total silence because that makes you face reality as it is. I hate noise, people and distractions.
Thank you for Hate Crew Deathroll, an amazing album from start til end, It's like Europe meets Dissection on overdrive, the first 3 album are fantastic aswell, but HCDR is where they peaked in epicness,, creativity and even brutality
