Great video as always! What are your thoughts in regards to splurging on a pair of Yakima or Thule racks? They're certainly not budget, but are lauded for their quality.
Do they whistle at over 60km/h? I have buyed some years ago from Lidl a set of menabo, aluminium with steel and plastic clamps with a very plastic security lock for ~35 euros and over that speed untill 110km/h they sound like anti air sirens:)))
Oh yeah. I've been lucky, most of the time, and have met lovely people selling things. But be on these markets long enough, you'll encounter some less honest people or in this case, someone you can't count on to keep their word. It's happened before but I've noticed it's the worst when your selling cars or mobile phones. Those seem to bring out all of the nasty ones from under their rocks
Keep doing what your doing! Not sure why but your vids relax me. Cheers
Thanks!
I have seen 0.51/100 on my old C5 diesel the 164hp one, but took some effort.
Downhill, right? 😁
@@comcarclub Some was also holding the speed of a truck so around 80kph

For what I need, these are sufficient. In all honesty, I was reluctant to buy them at all, and cash is extremely tight at the moment
From what I could see some time ago in the official accesories PDFs the original ones for Citroen X7 looked like Yakima.

Lol 😂! I haven't tried them at that speed yet, but I bet they whistle. I'll get back to you on this one
@@comcarclub also I have tried them with a big ladder (max length of 8m maybe) with 150km/h. All good but “don’t tell anyone” (says me on YT:))) )

Keep in mind that roof bars should not be in the car when not needed, as they are ugly and bad for fuel economy :D
@@yose Well, leaving them up means they might get stolen, so that's reason enough 😄
Canceled? Like, what?! I'm constantly hunt for second hand things for a price below average and never had this happen to me. Very strange.
