Probably because it's a 16v engine, they sound horrible without mufflers and even worse without cats

@@justuschalloner5356 what year ? I gotta ‘97 stick 318 and it comes with the 1.9l and it actually sounds pretty good for a stock 4cyl but thinkin either a muffler delete or a magnaflow muffler
