Keep up the work, I’m working with CZ’s myself and your work is blazing trail for me to follow and compare. Been one of your first subscribers, it’s great content and a lot of time, effort and work, that if in particular new shooters and shooters looking for ammo and shooting these and any other platform can certainly take away valuable info from in the field experiences.
I would also suggest wind flags or cheap pink surveyors tape hung on or near the targets. Thanks for the effort put into testing the different types of ammo. As a student of rimfire accuracy, I feel its about taking as many variables that affect accuracy out of the equation. Ammo type and quality/consistency, trigger pull/control, wind, barrel condition, stable shooting position, optic/barrel cant, practice at the range, dry firing practice, and weather conditions, just a few things that affect accuracy. My current longest shots with consistency is 1/4 mile or 440 yards, as you stretch out the distance to your target, it is a lot harder to maintain moa or sub moa accuracy. what may be a simple shot at 50 yards isn't that easy at 300 yards+
I have wind flags but during this phase I did not use them. My next goal is to choose 3 or 4 of the ammo tested and narrow it down to one Maybe two types that I can potentially compete with. My main goal is show others the process of finding a rifle and getting to the point you can shoot 2500’s in the ARA Factory class match. Hopefully by the time I am done I’ll cover most of what you mentioned in removing or handling the variables you mentioned. I think not many folks realizes what it takes but it is doable with practice and I am hopping I can shorted the path and cost for shooters. Thanks as alway WoW Guy
@@AimSmallMissSmall_TV Thanks Mr ASMS, I was basically posting for your viewers there is a lot to rimfire accuracy, its good there are small channels that post good information on rimfire shooting, I'm sure you are helping many people, me included. I do not own a chronograph I basically input my dope into a ballistics calculator at different yardages, I use StreLok pro as my calculator. Thanks again
Shot a ARA match today and the shooter next to me was shooting a CZ At One and was having numerous misfires with Tenx...... We also tested some this last week that had a few mifires...... Not sold on the Ely ammo...... Looks like the Lapua or SK will be the winnner.........
I own a cz 455 varmint heavy barrel and the cz 457 mtr, the same as he has on the bench. I honestly can't say which shoots better, they are both excellent for the price. I would not part with your 452, I have heard its a heck of a good rifle. I do believe they ironed out a few issues with the newer 457 so it is a little more refined. Both my cz's shoot very well
For shooting the ARA match I believe the AT-ONE with bi-pod and rear bag is the best from what I have shot. It shoots great and easy to navigate through the target.
thanks for the great video's, I have the same gun but it will not fire Eley ammo. all others work fine. any idea why? It will not fire fist time but usually if i put bullet in second time it will fire.
buy a tuner, buy a tuner, buy a tuner, buy a tuner, buy a tuner, buy a tuner, buy a tuner, buy a tuner, buy a tuner, buy a tuner, buy a tuner!!!!! buy a Harrell tuner from Killough and your problems will end.
Boy that ARA target was brutal. I shot two 2500 ARA targets with my Bergara BMR today using Eley Benchrest Outlaw and Eley Force without a tuner. I also shot a 2350 and a 2450 ARA target with a Ruger 10-22 today using Norma Tac-22 today. The Ruger has a Harrel tuner.

That is my experience, now if yo have a CZ457 MTR that seems to like ELEY. Just completing a series testing ammo in the CZ457 MTR
@@AimSmallMissSmall_TV Yes I watched that series. I guess it is the difference of the MTR having a match chamber.....
Hi I have been shooting ARA factory with a CZ 452. I'm I want to try a 457. what would you say it your best shooting CZ457?

I have had that problem with a few rounds but I don’t think it has been a problem. Maybe you rifle is a new rifle, needs to be broken in?
I would rather shoot in a mild and or steadier wind than ultra light, switchy wind or even dead calm.

Which one do you recommend thanks
wow, nice shooting. Are you competing or just shooting the ARA target for fun?
Stop excluding shots. Once that bullet leaves the chamber you can’t take it back.
You are right, thanks took be a bit to realize that.
