    Great point and explanation. When I saw your multiple three-shot groups, I was hoping you would combine them 🙂 . I'm a bit obsessed with accuracy and I've noticed pretty much what you've talked about. I've tried my best to eliminate The effect of parallax by adjusting my scope the best I can, but I wonder how much of a part it plays as I move from one target to a different one if my head is a quarter inch in a different spot than the previous target....... That's been my thesis of why my groups are grouping in different spots on different targets lately anyway.... Working on trying to figure out if it's that or what. Anyway, thanks for the video!

      @@willsharphomes you’re very welcome and thanks for watching. There’s always more to learn. I guess that’s what keeps it interesting.

    I've known two people who bought Springfield 2020 rifles. One returned his the same day due to poor accuracy while the other suffered for several months before dumping his. The rifles look great and if SA had put an extra $100 in them to make them accurate, they'd have a winner on their hands. They blew it.

      @@HSmith-uk9hl I was mad at first but for a light weight hunting rifle this gun will definitely work and as you said they look really cool. I love the carbon fiber stock on it. If I could go back I’d get a steel barrel. I’m not sold on carbon fiber barrels.

    The key words in this hole video is how is shooting and it takes a large wheel barrel full of of powder to burn to be that quality of a shooter.

    Every time I mention 20 shot groups when watching a rifle review I get flamed 🔥 But the truth is very few rifles can consistently put 20 rounds on target under 1 inch all the time @ 100 yards. It’s just a fact.

      @@snowman3219 I agree. I don’t have a rifle that can do it.

    I agree to an extent. its nice to have some kind of standard though. there is lotsbof rifles out there that won't shoot three shots as good as your rifle will.

    • @Okrifleman
      @Okrifleman  16 годин тому

      @@reloadingfun that is true. Having a rifle that will consistently put three shots at 1 MOA is a reasonable benchmark. The thing I have realized is that a rifle that will consistently shoot three shot groups under an inch is not really a one inch rifle. The rifles do seem to preform just as the manufacturers guarantee they will though.

    The rifle was verified with your first target of 3 shot groups. The multi group shot test is flawed in ammo lot variance, loading variance, heat variance & shooter fatigue. There are too many variables to quantify with that method. Outcome- waste of ammo.

      @@jaimesanborn308 I get what you’re saying but we had a 60 degree day in December so for me being outside getting a little vitamin D and firing off a few rounds is never a waste of ammo. What does a typical range day look like for you? I’m always looking for a better way to do things. Thanks.
