  • What is special in roguelikes? Why we play in them for hundred and hundreds of hours and still don't lose our interest. Of course, that's because of huge replayability. In this video I'll show you 50(or if anyone noticed 55) great games in this genre. Thanks for watching this video. Subscribe and like if you liked it. You can also write something in the comments. I answer on almost all of them. See you in the next one! Peace!

    No way that just one person mentioned Noita down in the comments
    Why you MUST try it?
    Well, it's the best game of magic ever done, every aspect of the game to be such a good game it's amazingly thought and so well implemented. The way the lore it's implemented, the way the game teaches you HOW to play, the difficulty system and, the most important and funniest part of the game, the spell crafting. It's definately the absolute best game based on magic ever done and probably even with new game releases, will keep up being one of the best.

    • @_Akior_
      @_Akior_  5 місяців тому +3

      There are 2 people, who mentioned it. And now you are third. Seems like it's really good game, if so many people talk about it. But I haven't tried it yet and haven't heard much about it's gameplay and lore. Maybe I'll try it later one day.
      Do you think it's better than magicka? It literally has magic in title 🤪🤔😮

    • @_Akior_
      @_Akior_  23 дні тому +1

      @@coopstain1728 Hades is much more story-based, so I included it in the video about indie games. Plus second part isn't that good. And I don't know much about Returnal. It doesn't look very interesting and unique. Many games that I included in the first 10 are considered one of the best roguelikes ever and can be called classic.

  • @kustomkure

    For me personally, if a rogue like doesn't have plot progression, I lose interest super fast. That's why for me Returnal and Hades are all time greats.

    • @_Akior_
      @_Akior_  5 місяців тому +2

      Yep, for most players right now progression is important in keeping interest. I also prefer when new things unlock or new mechanics are introduced with time.

    I'll share my all-time favorite of the genre: Star of Providence (formerly known as Monolith). It's a twin-stick shooter bullet hell with amazing pixel art and a stellar sound track, I can't recommend it enough.

    Доброго вечора. Відео виявилося пізнавальним - я міркує в ньому можливо знайти для себе гру за своїми вподобаннями. Я особисто граю в world of tanks, провів трохи більше 60 000 боїв , якщо рахувати що один бій триває 5 хвилин , то виходить що в грі провів більше 5 000 годин ( граю з 2013 року ) . Гра на мій погляд досить цікава ( ти керуєш танком та розом зі своєю командою змагаєшся з апонентами ) . Графіка в грі досить реалістична ( якщо дозволяє Ваше залізо грати на maks графіці . Бої протікають досить дінамично . Гра пропонує техніку 5 видів ( за способом гри) . В грі представленна техніка 11 націй ( кожна нація має свої притаманні риси ) . Є різні види бою , формати бою та певна кількість різноманітних активностей в самій грі . Можливо грати як з донатом ( маючи за це певні бонуси ) так і без донату ( мій варіант) . Якщо є вільний час гра варта уваги. Бажаю розвитку твоєму каналу .

For example, tactically put your units in some order and then they will fight for themselves. Like Despots Game. And not usual auto-chess games, not intrested in pvp. Rogue-like or story-based game would be much appreciated.

      its not that overrated
      it achieved what the developer wanted for it.
      its a game that tells a story and centers around you dying repeatedly to progress the story.
      its a rogue like where the story progresses the more times you play it.
