The bull is his livelihood! It's likely an animal he's had since it was a baby, and it's provided for him and his family. It's not just an animal, it's a source of income and even a friend or family member. I'd be heartbroken too, if my bull, that I worked so hard to keep healthy and that helped me labor every day for years, died before my eyes.
I always thought the 4 living creatures described in Revelation show us that humans, eagles, Ox(bovine), and lions have some level of higher sentience than other animals, perhaps they were just God's chosen alongside humanity but weren't made in the image of God.

Amen brother that is what happened. ADONAI through the plagues demonstrated who was the true God. Each plague was an attack to a Egyptain pagan deity.
More like God showing His Might to those fallen angels (Egyptian gods).
It’s entirely possible many Egyptians saw it that way. It’s all just different interpretations of the same events.
Very interesting interpretation! 😊
The Israelites were enslaved to the Egyptians for 400 years and they never gave up hope that God would send someone as a messenger to end this suffering. The Egyptians saw a people that were hard working and forced them to build their cities. When i see Hollywood make movies like this they do capture the suffering and how the Egyptians treated the Hebrews they didn't give a crap about them. The prince of Egypt is a great musical of Exodus bc it shows the relationship between two brothers in the beginning being thick as theives to grown men who must do what is right for their people. I think the Egyptians had it coming honestly.
Yeah God wanted to destroy Egypt at that point but he timed it so that once they got out they would take the land God was giving them and bring Justice to the other evil nations as God said before that they would be in slavery for 400 years and the inquity of the Amorites was not yet full so once they got out 400 years later they would destroy them with Gods Holy vengeance.
دائما اليهود عبيد لنا 😎
23 When Moses lifted his staff toward the sky, Yahweh sent thunder and hail, and lightning struck the earth. So Yahweh made it hail on Egypt. 24 It hailed, and lightning flashed while it hailed. This was the worst storm in all the land of Egypt since it had become a nation. 25 All over Egypt the hail knocked down everything that was out in the open. It struck down people, animals, and every plant in the fields and destroyed every tree in the fields. 26 The only place it didn’t hail was the region of Goshen, where the Israelites lived. First of all : Ridley Scott is not a Jewish, or a Christian. Thus: He took far too many liberties in making the movie about The Exodus of the Hebrew Children out of bandage in Egypt. Before each plague: Moses went before Pharoah, and asked him to "Let my people go". Pharaoh hardened his heart each time. Then God would send another plague. Then Moses would repeat the request to "Let my people go": After which time; Pharaoh would again: Harden his heart. The final plague was that the first born son of each Egyptian household would die, unless they spread the lamb's blood in their doorways. As for the crossing of the Red Sea: PLEASE !!!!! The crossing is described vividly in the book of Exodus. And God caused a string wind to blow out the north all night. When Moses touched his staff on the waters: The Red Sea parted. "The people of Israel went over on DRY LAND", and "The water was as a WALL on their left, and in their Right ". When Pharaoh's army passed in the midst of the waters: The Sea covered them over, and None Survived". It is never mentioned anywhere that Pharoah entered the midst of the parted waters.

As Pharaoh destroyed Egypt, Israel under Hoshea; Judah under Zedekiah; Judaea under Caiaphas; Caesar under pagan Rome; Pius under papal Rome; Germany under Hitler; and Japan under Hirohito: "one sinner destroyeth much good."-Solomon.
@Darren Marcel What I read of his life in Scripture is that once his kingdom was firmly established he began taking in heathen wives, and he was seduced to allow them to sacrifice to their heathen gods. Thus set in motion both the downfall of both Israel and Judah. But the book of Ecclesiastes, written toward the end of his life's journey in a mournful tone he worked to undo the harm he had done, just as Manasseh after being imprisoned and repented for his wickedness, the LORD restored him to his throne. Manasseh worked to undo the harm he caused to the LORD'S chosen people.
@Darren Marcel I don't believe "Solomon rebelled in the end" of his life. His apostasy began much earlier in life. As I said before, the book of Ecclesiastes was his mournful dissertation of repentance. And scholars have cited that the reason he brought heathen women to Israel was an act of evangelism to show the contrast between the heathen gods and the GOD of Israel. But over time he fell prey to temptations that led to the sacrifices to false gods. After Solomon's death, revolts broke out over who should be king, and the kingdom of Israel split. From that moment, not one king of Israel received the LORD'S approbation. Out of the 42 kings only 11 "did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD."
@Darren Marcel Yes, you've disagreed with everything I shared. It's like we're competing against each other as fellow believers. Satan smiles. I've met Christians who have denounced the book of Ecclesiastes saying, "It's a worthless book."
Do you hold this view? Because you've shown no respect to the man, only disdain.
Makes me wonder if you disagree with his counsel, from the doctrine repeated throughout the Bible that death is "sleep," to his closing words concerning "the whole duty of man." I don't know a single major denomination who are commandment-keepers.
The Law that Jesus said to obey (Matt.19:17) the churches universally disobey.
Did you know Jesus condemned every Sunday law on the night of the last supper when the Lord forbid any religious tyranny in His church? Lu.22:25,26.
If the simple commands of Christ are denied, your trust in today's seminaries is foolish and perilous, which only confirms the words of Peter: "And if the righteous scarcely be saved [those who profess the Christian faith] where shall the ungodly and sinner appear?"
When Revelation 13:13 is fulfilled and the leading church ministers take the throne of human government, at this time Revelation 18:1-5 will be fulfilled.
