Michal, hey, I am struggling to marry this up with the "stop hitting it fat quick tip" I just saw on instagram. My coach is helping me to learn not to roll (cup) my left wrist but in the IG clip, it certainly looks like going parallel to the toe line that the "gear tie" would be facing skyward not to the front. Ie it look like you are instantly rolling the wrist. Am I missing something?
As soon as you figure this out you will find the consistency you have always been looking for. That doesn't mean you hit every shot perfect but the wild 2 way misses and huge shot shapes will go away and you can start to focus on contact and power. Get the face square at the top and turn hard.
For 40 years, I've faded the ball. Could never draw it. The day I figured out my wrist at the top was was off, everything changed for me. I now have a wonderful 5-10 yard draw if i keep that wrist dead straight.
@@jasonthomas2622 Not so much a drill but the range. It feels so strange, like I'm over flexing my wrist at the top, but it's dead straight with my forearm when I film it. I would bet my life (by the way it feels) that my wrist action is like DJ at the top but it's actually dead straight and I have a perfect 10 yard draw. My game now relies on my wrist position at the top and that presents a whole new host of problems. Problems like too much or not enough flexion at the top and the ball goes where my wrist position tells it to go. But my misses are much less spread for sure. Such is golf!
The gear tie trick could be a game changer for me. Thanks 👍
Just started watching , love your enthusiasm and instructions . You video where you raised the right arm . It really helped me with distance.

What drill did you do to change it?

I would never miss any graduation of my son for anything. Plenty of golf trips to go on later.
Be there for your son! Way more important
Nope. Let your kid know early that you don’t get a ribbon for everything.
@@seanm3226 - Agreed, its grade school. There should not be a grade graduation as it is meaningless in terms of a academic career.
Good swing tips, terrible life tips
