I love me some sad max!
incredible as always and thanks for posting. i've got to ask though, what possible reason does somebody need a 5 gallon bucket of maple syrup? how long did it take to get through?
Chris Sandoval UA-cam would remove that video with all the syrup
laughed the first time i read it. don't know why it keeps showing up in my notifications but it's a chuckle everytime. rats off to ya.
You must not know how we roll in Southern Indiana. Syrup belongs with every meal. Real maple syrup, of course.
please, pardon my ignorance, i'm a southwesterner. i had spend about 20 years in the midwest but never made it around to your neck of the woods. never really thought about maple making that much of an impact that far south, but now that i think about it, you are right off the lake/river route. one of the things i like most about the internet is the cultural exchanges, especially when they're civil like has been. thanks for learning me some things and thanks for being human about it.
Chris Sandoval where I come from those white buckets are hooked to the taps on the trees to catch the raw syrup, then it cooks way way down and they put it in like small whiskey jugs. When I was little some would use real old whiskey jars, had a whole different taste. There were strikes and layoffs everywhere so lots of people went back to the old ways and barter and sharing and so I got to taste the old time wares like it was the late 1800’s in 1975.
