Never ever get tired of dancing to the sounds of the big damm band. Truely greatest live band
I learned about the Big Damn Band when they opened for Flogging Molly years ago. They came on stage and my puck rock self thought "dafuq is this?" And immediately stopped thinking that once they started playing! Love Rev and Breezy! Seen them a dozen times since that show (including at midnight show at a local spot). Great music and even greater people! Rev and I went and raided a local record shop together. I was pulling vinyl of old metal, he was pulling old blues albums. We sat outside the venue and swapped some for fun. Love them!
I dropped $700 of hard earned money on airfare to see the BDB in Denver at the Globe. Best 7 bills I ever dropped. They blew that room away. You will never, ever see the BDB at the CMA awards because they would wipe the stage. Such are the politics of music. I don't give a damn for what passes for country music these days, I'll take folk any day.
In the '70s I was given a similar Supro, also with the gold "mother of toilet seat" covering. Mine had a screw-on output jack, like microphones had then. The guy also gave me a small National/Valco amp that had two 6x9" speakers in it. I wish that I still had them both and think of them every time I see Rev. Peyton playing this beautiful Supro. I never heard music this good coming out of mine, though. 🙃
My favorite band!
Was introduced tonyou guys yesterday from a mate i havnt stopped listening since and happily sharing the awesomeness that is your music.
I love big damn band
I was there that night. Brilliant set. Although the Rev didn't play his shotgun, he played his "axe" . What a band
I really like the aw earthiness of the Rev.
They make me proud to be a Hoosier, at a time when so few things do. 🤣
Very good point!
Pretty funny:

your comment about having so few things to do rings truer than ever during these times of covid

5 years ago, 2014, I was wandering through Nellieville, a town created from junk in Deer Isle, Maine. In one of the buildings was a poster for a Blues Festival in Hattiesburg, MS held in 1974. These guys along with John Lee Hooker were headliners. These guys have paid their dues.
He was born in '81 - wikipedia
@@M_Emery99 My mistake wrong poster. Date was Sunday October 7, 2007. Clarksdale Ms, 252 Delta ave. I have a picture of it want to see it? Bill "howl-n-mad" perry was the headliner. too many posters running through my head.
Wow, I'd never known that. Thanks.
love this band super talented n so friendly, I've seen them 7 times n can't wait to see them again. You be a fool to not go see them when they come thru ur town. I guarantee you would not be disappointed

Come to the Opera House in Cheboygan, Michigan, my peeps and i would love it; you might want to swing by Interlochen too, while you're among the frozen chosen.
You and your band is the baddest MYERS I've ever heard
still makes so happy, the blues are alive a little further north than Idda thought but going strong..

Well, thanks a whole hell of a lot, y'all. Now I'm homesick, too. And I do not mean Jolly Old London. (Been there myself. It's a pretty nice town, as well.) Shout out from Kingsport, Sullivan County, Tennessee! Y'all kick a$$. Don't never, ever stop!
Excellent band, i can see Reverand Peyton playing on stage with Samatha Fish and Jimmy thackery, great combination!

This is a slowed down version.
Hey, please tell me... What tuning do you use for that slide playing? Also, how do you keep the thumb pick from sliding off? I've tried all sizes from tight to loose... Maybe its the brand? Love the Big Damn Band stuff !
