This reminds me of a former friend I had. I met her in college, and she was a hard core leftist. She was always smiling and happy, until the aftermath of the Kavanahgh scandal. A few months prior to this political scheme, she posted an essay in Facebook that expressed how loving and tolerant she was; how she was willing to be friends with people who differed from her, etc. Then, Bret Kavanaugh was admitted to the Supreme Court. Similar to Pelosi ripping up Trump’s SOTU address, this woman’s mask came off. She called all Republicans misogynists and rapists. She said that anyone who believes Bret Kavanaugh was a supporter of rapists. She went on and on, and told everyone who sided with Kavanaugh to unfriend her. I obliged.
Now you can appreciate why I did not comment on the case of Kavanaugh in social media. Very quickly, the whole matter turned maximally toxic. Lost in the shouting was that Kavanaugh is too deferential to public sector authority, and is too prone to take statements by police officers and prosecutors at face value. Kavanaugh is naive about abuses of governmental power. But the only people who mentioned that were a few dozen libertarian intellectuals.

I was in grade school in the seventies. My best guy friend all throughout was a black boy. The only black kid at school and in our neighborhood. This reminds me of a former friend I had. I met her in college, and she was a hard core leftist. She was always smiling and happy, until the aftermath of the Kavanahgh scandal.
A few months prior to this political scheme, she posted an essay in Facebook that expressed how loving and tolerant she was; how she was willing to be friends with people who differed from her, etc. Then, Bret Kavanaugh was admitted to the Supreme Court.
Similar to Pelosi ripping up Trump’s SOTU address, this woman’s mask came off. She called all Republicans misogynists and rapists. She said that anyone who believes Bret Kavanaugh was a supporter of rapists. She went on and on, and told everyone who sided with Kavanaugh to unfriend her.
I obliged.
Now you can appreciate why I did not comment on the case of Kavanaugh in social media. Very quickly, the whole matter turned maximally toxic. Lost in the shouting was that Kavanaugh is too deferential to public sector authority, and is too prone to take statements by police officers and prosecutors at face value. Kavanaugh is naive about abuses of governmental power. But the only people who mentioned that were a few dozen libertarian intellectuals.

I believe you've hit upon the key; a child that positively imprints on (has a loving relationship with) their father/grandfather tends to turn out sane, intelligent, and capable of being successful and making something of themselves (as opposed to a juvenile delinquent, criminal, mentally ill, or 'gender confused').

Then, when that generation had kids, the process intensified, producing '2nd wave' feminism, and that generation had kids, producing the insanity of '3rd wave' feminism, which we are reaping the results of today. I am no longer confident that our society will survive to see '4th wave' feminism..

Only my maternal grandfather survived. Think you can repay the favor and save us from ourselves? Europe follows America and when America falls, so does the entire western world. Like WWII, everyone has a stake in this. These are children throwing temper tantrums and using the power of government to turn on their enemies. There is no rhyme or reason to who gets attacked either because their nonsensical ideology is a merry-go-round of internal conflicting views and cognitive dissonance. He was honored to have the opportunity to do so. He talked about the beauty of France regularly and spoke warmly of the people that he encountered. He loved you guys so much.

I have always been a conservative and this is the second time I've watched your video. Your story is so beautifully told. With your ability to paint a picture with words... you will be able to help so many others see the truth. I plan to use your video to help my daughter "wake up" from the Dem haze that took over her in college. I think she's almost there. Thank you SO MUCH for your courage to share your experience.
