Gino I've learned so much from these videos and your live streams I've been trying to learn no hit and its been a huge help. And now I cant stop using Kukris to lure enemies for sneak attacks and using assassins gambit to sneak around, you've opened a whole new way to play this game for me.
it makes sense, the poleblade's ability is hard to get off without trading hits at times, unless they have low poise. Then deaths poker is just cracked with a nice ability.

Eleonora's Poleblade is so much fun to wield. I actually got it by surprise when searching for Yura to receive his Nagakiba Katana. Yura, did warn about Eleonora, and yet I was still quite surprised to be invade by her. Fortunately, I had the Bloodfang Blade sword selected, and was able to get off a weapon art - given me enough time to compose, focus, and fight her attack. Now I'm onto the Eleonora's Poleblade - with the unique weapon art, it's like having two Rivers Of Blood Katana's in one.
@@tatefriedline8964 if you look at his earlier videos he said that he’s doing 40 no hit runs and was looking at suggestions what to do and so on this run the requester (chat) asked to give himself those talismans for the run. Because of the talisman took far too long into the whole late game quest line to give him a little edge

I've dropped Elden Ring because I really am not a fan of the open world and much preferred the Dark Souls style with shortcuts, but after watching like a dozen of your videos in the last few days, I think I'll power through the game once just to finish it. I don't want to bother with hours and hours of preparations for Incantations or Sorcery, so I'll probably go with a weapon. What do you guys recommend for the best weapons to go full on ? Preferrably weapons that doesn't require you to play a lot to acquire ? The weapon in this video seems really good, and cool to play as I'm not a huge fan of super slow weapons. Recommendations for the latest patch would be most welcome. Thanks.
I would personally say my favourites are, aside from the obvious meta weapons I am sure you have seen, bastards star for it's cool weapon art. Helphen steeple for insane damage. Royal greatsword if you like a bit more bonk. full disease rapier setup with 2 antspurs, one with poison, and one with bleed or cold. And Morgots cursed sword also for it's cool weapon art. If I had to say the one that was most fun it was bastards stars. It's strong but not too strong, so you don't end up feeling like you are cheesing everything, not sure how valuable that is to you but that's my recommendation.
Try Nightrider glaive or Guardian swordspear with the Repeating thrust AoW and later Blood tax. Both are really solid halberds and pretty fast, swordspear has a unique moveset that makes it faster than most halberds, and both can be found very early. Swordspear from farming the small tree guards in the weeping peninsula and Nightrider glaive from the night calv on the way to Liurnia. Repeating thrust is basically 4 light attacks in a second and its really good at staggering enemies. Blood tax is the same but does less damage in exchange for bleed build up and self healing for like 3% max hp per hit.
Currently near the end of a Ng+ run with this weapon, I'm stuck on Horah Loux, you make it look so easy! 😭 Edit: Got him! Your little run round him once he starts phase 2 and then spam of aow did it for me! Now stuck on Elden beast 😭
6:20 the more items you have in your inventory the more you have to scroll to get to the items you actually are going to use in the run so it makes sense to only pick up what you know is going to help you
Nice Run. How did you get the Talisman that increases damage on a hit streak tho? Don't you get that version only from millicent's quest at the end? And how did you get millicent's arm when you can only get one of those two unless you do ng+
Unfortunately I’m one of the people who can’t just pass by items for some reason unless I am pretty focused on getting somewhere. I just can’t ride past glowing skulls and picking up the golden rune 1s. I’m aware that it’s not really worth stopping but I just can’t go past them.

My 2nd favorite weapon in the game, behind Morgott's Cursed Sword. That twinblade may be bad, but it's still a fun piece to use, as opposed to Chikage's nerf.
Last tiem I checked they share a border on an island they've been fighting over for a long time, its split like half and half or smth. So yeah Canada borders 2 countries if I'm not mistaken.

When i came across that noble skip(Although i didnt know it was a skip at the time) I thought it lead to a secret boss at first but i was too scared to attempt the jumps lol. Luckily Godskins are some deep sleepers so no never had any issues with them.

God damn, the poleblade really is that strong, huh. I got it to +5 before ditching it completely because of the death's poker.
It’s only strong in conjunction with multi-hit buffs, in my experience
it makes sense, the poleblade's ability is hard to get off without trading hits at times, unless they have low poise. Then deaths poker is just cracked with a nice ability.

Poleblades are cool and strong, but just like daggers, they lack any kind of range

My favorite weapon to play with tha you can get early has to be moonveil, its just fun to use and its really good

Claymore’s a fun choice! You can get it almost immediately in Castle Morne.
