Going on a "viking" usually meant going on a trading trip to all the "vikar" down the coast. A viking was a tradesman, not a wild warrior, that was the danes and norweigans, they were famous for their raides all over, especially on the brittish isles, which even made the swedish people a bit mixed up with who the "cool" vikings were and who the real vikings-the tradesmen were. When Sweden lost Finland to Russia in the early 1800's a huge moral campaign was designed. The viking legend was revived, and the historians artists were instructed to come up with the "cool" warrior viking even in swedish history. Ofcourse it was a lie, but it worked. That creation is still believed today. And why not? It's based on half truths, a couple of runestones with enigmatic symbolic texts and a very creative author called Snorre, who's pure fiction is still regarded as fact. You have clearly never heard of the Assyrians,- strong powerful culture, conquerors and warriors of the ancient times before the Romans,- ruled an entire empire in their own time,- respect!
Great music! I've also been looking for other Nordic bands that try to rescue some of the essence of the old ways. On the downside, I just don't care much for the electronic-music aesthetics used here now and then. I think that one of the biggest victories of the "other side" has been to transform Europeans into a bunch of drug addicts, and, in the meantime, convince them that it is a great idea to be doing drugs. "We" have already a lot of that in electronic music, and don't need any more of it...We need to rescue the roots of the European man, pre-judeo-christianism - strong, honorable, loyal to his kin, truthful to the utmost, and, most of all, with a sense of HIS ORIGINAL SPIRITUALITY - and not be dancing in some rave-like event full of ecstasy in our brain, or some crap like that.... Having said that, I look forward for more material of these guys. Heil Heilung!
+Francisco Comelli i think raving and extasy comes close to the free living of the old norse. Dont forget drugs where always there, and even the ritmic stomps of rave. if been there and done that. im dutch :). nevertheless this music is great and find myself very spititual when listning. Odin is calling his heroes for the coming war. both muslim and christianity will fail and we will be free again.
+Francisco Comelli A lot of old cultures did drugs and danced in ecstasy. So 0 points for you lad. And this is also "electronic" music, in some ways, so I don´t really get your point. To me it seems your generalizing really hard. People who listen to this music do drugs, people who listen to techno do drugs, people who listen to Metal etc. do drugs. Fun fact - a lot of people who listen to music do drugs ;) Also - is electronic music and drugs the worst about modern culture for you? It´s rather the hedonistic life style, the trash, the fear of nature etc. Not a freakin´ music genre. Open your eyes. :)
+Francisco Comelli And what I somehow don´t really like about your post is that you´re saying that people who like electronic music can´t be strong, honorable, truthful etc.? I mean, gosh, you really need to open up. I know a bunch of fucked up people who listen to this kind of stuff and also fucked up people who don´t drugs. Also, depending you can use drugs to expand your mind. Which, is kind of the stuff that old cultures and cultures close to nature still do.
That is not what I meant at all..I do know people who take drugs and are scumbags as well as people that don't take drugs and are scumbags. What I meant was that there has been a campaign, non-stop, in every type of media, to make people believe that drugs are a great thing, that they are something that should be aimed at as some kind of wonderful thing that makes you open you mind and see the world in some fantastic new way that you were not able to before, etc. And guess what? That's what drugs MAKE YOU BELIEVE...This is not a moralistic assessment at all, but it is what science says. Drugs throw you biochemical processes into an imbalance, making every perception go haywire, and thus you believe you are having some kind of heightened perception. And, most (and worst) of all: drugs are ADDICTIVE and are proven to wreck your brain. As every addict, I have friends that defend drugs to the utmost, saying that they have no effect on them and that they are safe, but these guys cannot have a weekend, or don't know what is to have fun, without taking ecstasy, smoking pot, or LSD, or some crap like that. One of them, that constantly goes to raves, cannot hold any information in his mind for more than a minute, and the another lives in a state of semi-retardation. So, if you think drugs are a great thing - and you must, for you seemed to be pretty offended by my commentary - go ahead and drug yourself out! Plus, do you think that drugs come from some Fairy Tale Land where little cute gnomes make them? They are made by slave laborers (mostly kids and women...sometimes they are taught one function in the line of production and then their eyes are gauged out so that they can't see and recognize the members of the cartel) in far away lands controlled by brutal drug cartels (people that, if you crossed them, they would cut you into pieces and then barbecue you and throw you to their dogs)...These are the kind of people YOU GIVE FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO when you consume drugs. So, my point of view stands: the only ones that have something to gain with this massive consumption of drugs are the powers behind the curtains - people that move political and financial decisions which rule the destiny of the world; they are the same ones that finance Hollywood (where, "coincidentally", drugs are rampant); as for us, taking drugs dumbs us down and distorts our sense of reality... I'll keep myself clean, thank you very much!
Having said that, I believe that there are some things, such as ayahuasca, for example, that can be used as a spiritual experience... But that is another story. Ayahuasca is not tobe used for leisure or social events, and you have to be extremely spiritually prepared to take it (plus have a lot of esotheric knowledge in order to be able to direct the experience). And no, I have never used it... So, again, this is not something that you take at raves, or to get fucked up with your buddies at a weekend party (Uuuuh, maaan, I'm so high dude!), or some stupid crap like that.
windswept23 Celts, Nords, and Germanics have a special bond. We’ve lost our connection to earth and soil, no wonder it gives, Post-modern abstractions fulfill none of us but give us only incessant thinking about nothing. This is beautiful and disregards such sickness in the modern consciousness. Be honorable, be strong, shoulders conscious, mind alert, analytical and emotion full.

(English) Verse 1 Death is on your hands, We will slaughter your people, No mercy is given. Chorus You will die, You will die in this battle. Verse 2 We are fearless, Death makes us laugh, War is what we want.
People don't like the whispering/talking part, although this fits with the double meaning of galdr (a song or enchantment). Enchantments were often whispered. Búri, Tyr, Loki a war against humans.
Their music stirs the most deepest darkest secret areas of my soul...the foundation of the universe. This is what everybody has been waiting. Soon their followers will be in the millions. Mach weiter leute bald werden sie bluehen.!
+Gilbert Keisse We were told that those places are dark - in reality they are not dark or evil, just primal. Those "places" are inseparable part of us, so the external pressure to keep them unexplored has left us mutilated.
We are naturally tribal, that is how a family unit works in today's society. We just don't see the way most societies had evolved. It was tribal, and all the communities working together did so because they were a trying unit, growing. Working to make their lives easier, until the point of like a small roman empire. Taking generations to build, and the Norse got to a decent point in their age.
I would rather fight with words ideas and opinions but they are taking those things away from us time to protest Lets hope we don't have to go to far. Get ready for the storm.
I have never said that war was all fun and game like a giant laser tag and shit... I know that war is a huge bloody, muddy mess, worthy men will die, many of them, those who survive will bear scars both within and without... All I say is there is glory in defending what you stand for, by every mean even if it means to take up arms, there is glory in it not because it is a pleasing, easy task but because it's not... Now hear me, war is not to be wished, nor is it to be fled from when it is upon us...
+Acid Jesus bad habit of holding high expectations? you called him a moron ...i wouldn't think this would be a shaman's way to go about speaking with people...especially in comment to their thoughts or opinions. the only benefit of the doubt i can give is that you had a bit too much to drink initially...haha so strange reading your comments... I hope shamanic training goes on for you through many experiences and changes within because if that kind of talk is representative of Germanic Shamanism.....i'd say that's quite a shame.
Something about this music connects to me at a primal and visceral level. Maybe it’s ego perception but maybe it’s dna memories of something a part but something not personally observed fully.
Please, brothers, read up on the Germanic peoples. We are all part of the Germanic family, our father... The Norsemen call him Odin, the Germans and the English peoples call him Woden, but they are one and the same. Our ancestors were from different tribes, but all came from Northern Germany / Denmark and southern Scandinavia. Modern Germanic peoples include Afrikaners, Austrians, Danes, Dutch, English, Flemish, Frisians, Germans, Icelanders, Lowland Scots (due to immigration from England), Norwegians and Swedes.
In my native danish (norse) language "Krigsgalder" (Krigsgaldr) means "incantation for war" - a spell for achieving victory and asking the gods - in war it was normally Odin, the "Alfader" (Alfadr, Father of all) and god of death, for help and good luck in battle - and a place in Valhal (Valhól, Valhalla) for the fallen.

People who listen to this music do drugs, people who listen to techno do drugs, people who listen to Metal etc. do drugs. Fun fact - a lot of people who listen to music do drugs ;)
Also - is electronic music and drugs the worst about modern culture for you?
So, again, this is not something that you take at raves, or to get fucked up with your buddies at a weekend party (Uuuuh, maaan, I'm so high dude!), or some stupid crap like that.
the power on this song lets prepare for the ending battle brothers and sisters
💘💘we belongs to the north, the real north.
"My sword for Tyr, my blood for Thor, my heart for Odin"😍
you speak as a christian
Odin takes our souls only, not hearts
Carlos Silva
?
+Bandera you do realise Germanic paganism didn't involve souls?
Valkyries brought souls of fallen warriors to Valhalla, and you say there were no souls?lol
this is magnificient

Yes! Always stay grounded with the Earth.
That's what Elliot says
Hey wind, are u on fb?
Nordic, Finland, Helsinki
windswept23 Celts, Nords, and Germanics have a special bond.
Stunning
Just discovered this band. Love it!!
+Catherine Meier Spader Wardruna & Skuggsjá

I am greek and I don't know about ancestors or norse stuff, but when I listen to quality music I enjoy it. Makes my blood boil, makes me happy.
Most amazing music I've heard in a long time. Speaks to my ancient soul, connecting with my ancestors, this Beltaine.
you have nordic ancesters ?
this speaks to many beyond the nords
If he have english ancestors, he probably got nordic/germanic ancestors at some point
SudenYoiku Thats true, but nordic and germanic are not the same.
Germanic people descend from nordic people. Today they're not the same. But we can put it aside and unite instead of divising the europeans. We are basically from the same roots. AKA Neanderthal.Marijn Koppens
Lyrics to the proto Germanic bit - Verse 1
Min Warb Naseu, Wilr Made Theim, I Bormotha Hauni,
Chorus
Hu War, Hu War Opkam Har a Hit lot,
Verse 2
Got Nafiskr Orf, Auim Suimade, Foki Afa Galande.
(English)
Verse 1
Death is on your hands, We will slaughter your people, No mercy is given.
Chorus
You will die, You will die in this battle.
Verse 2
We are fearless, Death makes us laugh, War is what we want.
People don't like the whispering/talking part, although this fits with the double meaning of galdr (a song or enchantment). Enchantments were often whispered. Búri, Tyr, Loki a war against humans.
I like it. The most interessing part of the song. If the enchantment will catch its objective its another history.
I think it ruins the whole song :/
Sounds like some kind of hip hop, and I'm not against the genre but it simply doesn't fit
WHAT A NICE SONG AND I LOVE NORDIC COUNTRIES LOVE FROM THE PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭❤🇳🇴🇸🇪🇮🇸🇫🇮🇩🇰

I mediate in the bath with it. Amazing
One word.... Amaizing.

Wow..love this..her voice is hypnotic ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
So true. Coexistance leads to conflict, which then leads to combat.
Lyrics of truth.
We are naturally tribal, that is how a family unit works in today's society. We just don't see the way most societies had evolved. It was tribal, and all the communities working together did so because they were a trying unit, growing. Working to make their lives easier, until the point of like a small roman empire. Taking generations to build, and the Norse got to a decent point in their age.
coexistance of cultures leads to conflict, not coexistance of different races
holy shit he's alive-
I would rather fight with words ideas and opinions but they are taking those things away from us time to protest Lets hope we don't have to go to far. Get ready for the storm.
A circle and two axes problem solved

Deep & Pretty Cool
This, shall be my own personal new National Anthem.
Listening to this is a spiritual experience. Incredible.
a song for Ođinn's wolves... a song for glory and victory... a song to sing on the path to Valhalla
+Eðelulf Þiessen There is more glory in defending your kin than anything else, this is what I praise in my comment.
You have not offensed me, you merely spoke your mind... I wish peace for you and your kin, and strong heart when you will need it
+Acid Jesus Brothers!
I hope shamanic training goes on for you through many experiences and changes within because if that kind of talk is representative of Germanic Shamanism.....i'd say that's quite a shame.
amazing music, i like it, lift my spirit up.
Iarsma dár gcúlra págánach é... Great stuff
There’s something divine in whispering
Hilsen til alle her.
Something about this music connects to me at a primal and visceral level. Maybe it’s ego perception but maybe it’s dna memories of something a part but something not personally observed fully.
new favorite song
Greetings from Greece!
Almost all European people are related, mostly Germanic, Scandinavian, Celtic, Slavic etc.
I am afrikaner and love this music
North French are mixed with Germanic also!
@@aurourus6894 indo-europeans unite
Theuns Bezuidenhout Doesn't make you Germanic. Maybe you're language is Germanic but you self have no connection to our folk
