10 min Fun Low Impact Workout for Total Beginners

- We can all be fit over 50! This fun, low impact walking workout has been created for total beginners who want to improve health, lower blood sugar and to get healthier. When it's difficult finding time or motivation to exercise, a 10 minute walk at home workout is a great start and it'll often energize you so you'll want to do more. If time is an issue, try to fit in a bunch of short workouts throughout the day. If you're just starting out with exercise, aim to get in a 10 minute workout every day until it becomes a habit. Once you establish a routine, you can add on and do more when you're ready. Total step count today is 1110 steps.

I loved this. I was feeling really tired today but I've done 3 x 10 minute walks and feel so much better. I really wish I had found this channel earlier. Your encouraging smile spurs me on and the music really lifts my mood. I actually look forward to exercising, which I am ashamed to say at nearly 60 is long overdue.

It also helps with improving mood and mental health. I find that on days when we're tired, the 10 minutes energizes us and makes us want to do more.

*Love* the 15 second intervals! By the time you feel the burn, it's time to go to the next interval. Also really appreciate that it's a total body workout and a short 10 minutes so I can combine it with other workouts. Perfect. Just perfect. More please. Thank you.

Just spent the last 2 weeks flat on my back in bed due to a severe intestinal infection. First real day back up and this wore me out. Usually this kind of workout is a warm-up for me. I will try to do another of these tonight but not sure. Getting old sure does suck. I feel like I've lost so much ground now but will try to get back up to speed.
I'm sorry to read about what you've been going through the past two weeks:( Be easy on yourself and just do what you can each day. 10 minutes is better than nothing and I am sure soon enough you'll be feeling better and able to get back to the point of what you were doing before. I'm guessing in another week or two your energy will be back. Be kind to yourself!

Ive just done this one and your 30 seconds intervals which really does seem so much longer than just an extra 15 seconds!

The 15 seconds definitely goes by quickly (on my end I definitely have to look at the timer a lot to ensure I switch at 15 seconds!).😉

It kind of changes every 15 seconds letting me know that you're about to do a new move, although I sometimes get carried away and when I refocus you're half way through your next exercise!

@@partyballoonsnorwich2122 No, but with the fitness music I use, the beat remains the same which might make it feel that way:) When I create the playlists, I do usually cut the songs so they switch at 30 second marks (for example at 2:30 or 3:00 min, etc.).
