Hey. I watch a lot of cooking channels/videos and out of all the quiche (and other similar) things out there, this video is by far the best! Quick. Simple. Easy. You don't waste any time and get straight to the point. Fantastic. Love it.
Looks so yummy 🤤 and you explained it very well, thanks for sharing have a wonderful blessed day today in our wonderful Lord God and savior Jesus Christ bye 😘
hello & thank you for this simple recipe, i am an essential worker during this virus, my 1st day off in 17 days, havnt seen much of my wife and kids, so this morning i am gonna make this with some other sides, 🍏🍌🍒🍓🍅, mimosa’s 🥂 and suprise them with a brunch
looks Delicious! I'm going to try this quiche and serve to my family! i know they are going to love it, and me too! even though i did not make it yet I'm giving it 5 stars will let you know how it came out,
Absolutely! I love to make this on a Sunday night and then have it for breakfast the next few days. I normally keep it for about 3 days in the fridge! Did you try this out?
@@momlifewiththeboys4009 I did! But it's been some time ago - remember it didn't turn out that great but naybe cause I used a toaster oven. Will have to retry it!
@@NatashaBong Aww I’m sorry it didn’t turn out well. :/ I’ve never done it in a toaster oven before so I don’t have any words of wisdom for how to make it turn out better in one!
So I tried it this way and spinach releases lots of water this why I should have used frozen defrosted strained spinach the onions were still kinda raw thus why I usually saute the onions with drained spinach first this recipe great for those that like a looser quiche and yes it was baked thoroughly
Yeah I had to take out the ham because I'm vegan well vegetarian at the moment according to what the doctor wants. I sauteed the onions I cut them very small and sauteed them in a little bit of butter and then I added to spinach and cook that until the water was gone I also cooked mushrooms until golden brown let it cool a bit and added it to the eggs and I doubled the entire recipe. I took the eggs up to one dozen instead of 10 and it worked very well for me this way. As you said frozen spinach would also work but I happened to have some fresh. :-)
Just because it's crustless does not make it a frittata. A frittata is also 2/3 of the way cooked on top of the stove. I have been making key since I was in 7th grade French class and I don't like crust. I have never done quiche with crust as I have gotten older and it is still very much a quiche. I prefer to have something for the eggs to hold onto so I grease and bread crumb the bottom and sides of my pan and I increase the recipe to fit a 9 by 13 pan. There are certain things that make it French and not Italian and it certainly is not a torta either. :-)
Okay, this recipe looked delicious, so we tried it. At first, my husband said he thought a teaspoon of salt sounded like a lot, but I said he should just follow the recipe in the video....well, it turned out super salty!!! And this is coming from someone who likes to add salt to her food. We're absolutely sure this would have been delicous if not for the ridiculous amount of salt the recipe called for. It was a waste of a lot of ingredients, but, lesson learned. When in doubt...don't! Add the salt afterwards if you feel it needs it!
That is why people say salt to taste. You can add salt but you can't take it out. Always salt to taste. Keep trying. I want to try this recipe as well.
I'm salt restricted, and because of the ham, I left the salt out. Many of the recipes on the tube call for more salt than I feel necessary, although it took me sometime to get past the flat taste. Now I just put a pinch on the serving and I'm good.
Just wanted to point out that your ingredients listed differ from the ingredients in video. Also I think a teaspoon of pepper in my opinion is way too much.
Oh no! I'm so sorry to leave out such an important step. I'm definitely not a professional, I just love to cook! What other things would you like to see with my videos?
Hey, thanks for your comment. I really appreciate it. There's a lot of discussion of which is which. I'm going to look up the true definition of a frittata and get back with you. What is your favorite one to comment and what do you like to put in yours?
I appreciate your response! I was looking to do a low carb version of my favorite breakfast food, so I decided to leave out the crust. What is your favorite way to make a quiche?
There's so much discrepancy on if this is a quiche or frittata! What are your thoughts? All I know is that is tastes amazing!!

Kiran is correct- it's an omelette-or as we say a frittata, without the potatoes.

Thank you so much for your input! There seems to be a lot of controversy about that topic. Haha. I'll have to research a frittata.
wow, that really looks easy, and healthier without a crust. going to try it tonite on mu ultra-picky husband

What kind of cheese?
You can use whatever cheese you desire, but cheddar is usually what's used in quiche.
