JOY MACHINE IS BACK!!! WINTER IS OVER!!!
Thanks for watching!
Glad to see you back. These are my favorite moto blogs. No fake titles, just a ride.
Thanks so much, glad you like our style!
It's good to see you both back with another upload; they always make me itch to go moto-camping. Shame about the GT; but, knock on wood, it's out of the way and the entirety of the season is in front of you. Stay safe and stay comfy; well wishes from across the pond.
Got in a couple more with no follow up issues so fingers crossed we are in the clear. Thanks for watching!
Yeahhhhh!!!! Stoked on this new season!!!! New Hawg setup looks awesome... really digging those new pipes and the 21" front wheel!!!! Bummed about Neeka´s bike.... :( !!! Maybe its time for her to get a HD !!!!!! Keep having fun amigos!!!! Best greetings!!!!
You're the best - thanks for the support! Yeah the new pipes sound great, we are stoked. Can't wait to go again already haha
So awesome to see a new video, thanks so much! After waiting so long and rewatching all the old episodes multiple times, I couldn't wait any longer, so had to buy a bike myself and do the same thing (well the riding and camping part). Got an '04 honda shadow vt750, rode it home the 1600km (1000 miles) home, camping along the way. It was great, thanks for the inspiration!
Ah that is great to hear - thanks for watching and for the support. That sounds like a great road trip - enjoy the shadow!
Hi there, love your content. I have three bikes, one of which is the 2022 RE 650 Interceptor. I cleaned the relays but also bought a spare set cheap off Amazon. I never had a relay issue. However I did fill fuel to the top, past the ‘hole’ in the filler ‘neck’ of the tank. This drained into the evap canister. It prevented the tank from ‘venting’. I got down, yanked two tubes free from the evap on right side of the bike. Started up perfectly. The evap can be dried/cleaned with compressed air till you don’t smell fuel vapour anymore. I haven’t reconnected the fuel overflow to the evap. Too much hassle and the tank is 13,7L…. So I need top it off. Also sit on the bike, bike off the side stand, straight up, then turn on the ignition. This usually gives a more true fuel level reading. I don’t trust the fuel gauge. I have 2x 1L fuel plastic jerry cans in each saddle bag. A little insurance to know I can have 50km more worth of fuel to find a fuel station. Just thought I’d share these insights. 👍🙂
We did the same and got some backup relays. Should do the trick for sure. Noted about the gas fill issue, I'll keep that solution in mind.
Hell yeah! Glad to see you back.
Awesome - glad you like the vids!
Your back! 🤘🏻 glad ya got the RE figured out......sláinte!
Yeah we got it sorted and back on the road! Thanks for watching
Nice to see another vid from you both. Your videos are awesome and really capture what owning a bike is all about. Gives me wanderlust every time I watch. Man that Harley is nice, looks and sounds the way a real Harley should (character) XD. I've got an 08 dyna lowrider myself. Twincam motor sounds amazing, but there is something about that Evo growl. Really sounds like a machine. Keep up the great content, sending good vibes from Miami.
Agreed - something special about the evo for sure. Thanks for watching!
YES! So happy to see a new Joy Machine vid! Sucks about the GT. At least it was a problem you could fix on your own without an overblown shop bill 😉
Agreed - glad its a quick fix. Thanks for watching!
:) Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy! SO GLAD to see youo both back! Sorry for the tow and at least its fixed :) ALL the BEST and Cheers! !!1
Thank you! We are so happy to be back :)
Eastern Washington is so pretty! Many great scenery shots. Good job on the boots! Boot are like tires on your bike. The better you get the better off you are. You don't want those things coming off in a crash.
Totally - boots are key!
Awesome to see another video guys!!!. So cool to see your girl riding, both bikes are so nice...can't wait to see what's next.....
Mike from Pittsburgh, PA.
Thanks Mike! Yeah we will be doing lots with both bikes this year - going to be great. Thanks for the support!
Loooong time no see!!!
It’s great that you’re posting your adventures again, (even if I had to go searching for you several times in the last six months or so.)
Your pictures are better than ever, as well as sound and editing. Really nice job! I see the “death machine” survived the winter and the Royal Enfield is gonna do what they do.
Love that Harley! Great that you’re back out there. Ride safe!
Thanks again for the kind words!
GREAT TO SEE YOUR AWESOME VIDEOS AGAIN!
Thanks for watching!
Good to see you are back safe at home. I missed this video, so I am a bit late to watch it.
Cheers from Tim
Long winter..glad you two are back! Nika's like my wife in that she sleeps good wherever.. me, not so much.. see you soon I hope 😎!
Haha yes - it's a blessing being a good sleeper for sure!
Awesome to see a new video really enjoy them
Thanks for watching!
Glad it was an easy fix for the enfield. Good to see y’all again.
Thanks so much!
Joy Machine !! Definitely. So many cool places . Hi from the north 🇨🇦😊
Oh yeah tons of great spots - We have been to northern CA on the bike a couple times, beautiful riding there too. Thanks for watching!
Great to see you guys back! Greetings from Vancouver Island!
Oh awesome - thanks for watching!
Great video. "Gone Fishing" had me. Recently went fishing myself on the bike, was fun. Bugger with the Tow time. Great though easy fix..
Agreed - fishing on the bike is great. Someday I'll catch something haha
great to see you making videos again. Bummer that the RE had issues. Looking forward to future Joy Machine videos. Peace.
Thanks for watching, its going to be a good year!
Hi Calen and Danika. Great to see you both back out on the road touring around; I have been waiting for you guys since the weather is getting better. Not sure why I didn't get a notification that you had posted a new video; but anyway, I will check my settings. Great scenery; too bad about the bike, but good that you were able to get it resolved. Seems kind of a strange issue. Hopefully the company has checked into this issue and resolved it on the bikes built recently. Keep the videos coming. They are great. Take care. Stay safe.
Hey Paul - yeah weather is finally perfect here so we will be out lots! Yeah I read others with the issue but I'll for sure let Royal Enfield know on the next bike survey. I think I get one every year so I'll be sure to note it. Thanks for your support as always!
Big smile when i saw a new video and new season watching you guys! That stinks about the RE... i gotta say I'd go back to a carbed bike in a minute. Simple works for me, but maybe this is it and it will be fine now. Really looking forward to seeing a new season of your travels!
Yeah I totally get it - the electrical can really cause problems for sure. We stashed some spares on the bike so hopefully that solves it going forward. Thanks for the support :)
nice to see you back guys. Same happened to my interceptor 650. Year old, one day just didn't want to start. Same as you, realised the pump not turning over. There's 4 relays under the left side cover, one of them is for the pump, one starter motor and one for lights as I remember. That's probably what it is. One of the 4 is not actually doing anything and all being the same, you can just move it around and problem solved. Hope you got sorted by now.
Thanks for the suggestions! Ours was the relay in the end too. Nika stashed a spare on the bike just in case so shouldn't be an issue going forward. Thanks again!
Bros got some good angles on recording video 👌🏾
Thanks so much - yeah we try haha
my kind of ride!
Finally back! Awesome.
Great video as always. Glad you guys got the RE fixed.
Thanks for watching!
Yay, Nika & Calen are back! 🥰 Missed your videos the last few months. Really cool place you camped at. It looked very fishy, too. Shame about the RE breaking down. Looking forward to seeing the next trip...
Thanks for watching! Should be another good season of vids :)
hey, you are back! the good season is back!
thanks for the video, very refreshing. Good boots Nika!
Pity for the RE breakdown, at least you ere able to identify and fix it easily.
Thanks for the welcome! Yeah the boots are working out great, good stuff. Thanks for the support :)
Nice to see you back! I see you changed the front tire& rim, looks nice, although I liked the fatter tire to. Be safe and keep the videos coming.
Yeah the fat tire was sweet too - just time for a change. Thank you for watching!
Went fishing in one of those pothole lakes when I was younger and more naive or something. Didn't catch any fish but did rescue a cute little snake that was swimming out in the middle of the lake, we played with and let it hang out in the bottom of the boat while we cruised around all day. When we finally pulled out of the water I picked up the baby snake and showed it to one of the locals, he declined to take it and said he wasn't stupid enough to pick up a rattlesnake.
Oh wow - yeah that sounds like an adventure! Nika is pretty nervous about running into a rattler so I don't think she would do that same haha
Glad your both back!
Feels so relaxing. Thanks!!
Thanks so much for watching!
Great to see you back
So great to see you two back at it. Sucks about the Enfield, at least it's going to live! And you did a great job on all that gravel, outstanding.
Thanks so much! Yeah getting a bit more practice on the gravel was good, will try to keep doing that here and there to get better too. Thanks for watching!
Welcome back you two.
Thank you! Good to be back :)
I was wondering about you guys.
It's been a while!
Those royal enfield 650s are nice looking bikes, that's a shame there still working out some bugs. I'm up in edmonton alberta, geese reminds me of here too. I got a 2022 bonneville t100 and so far it's a dream bike!! Can't wait to see an update on you two.
Oh sweet - those are very cool bikes too, sounds fun! Stoked for more episodes this year. Thanks for watching.
Nice to see you guys back. As we head into our winter I will look forward to your summer camping/riding videos.
We will keep them coming to get you through the winter!
Turnout muffler for the season, not bad!
Glad you got the bike figured out - sucks when something like that happens (as they say on LNSPLTBLVD b-b-b-b-bobber breakdown!). I hope this season is even better than the last for you both! 🤙
Hahaha yes! Glad it was an easy fix. Thanks for supporting!
missed u 2!
👋😁
Looking forward to another season! That sucks about your RE, I've got a 2019 Himalayan and it's got a few annoying electrical gremlins going on as well. Beautiful bikes and great to ride, but apparently you've got to be willing to work on them. At least the fixes are relatively simple and cheap!
Yeah agreed - some little weird things. Overall good bike, and love Enfields but it was not fun calling the tow.
RE just screwed itself real good in this clip. Glad I’ve never experienced that with mine.
Easy fix at least but yeah it was not fun getting such a new bike towed.
Good job repen the great state of WN, the east side at least
Thanks so much!
Greetings from Mexico. 🇲🇽
What model is your Harley?
Its a 1999 FLSTC, thanks for watching!
I've just finished all of your videos and now I don't know what to do with my life... this is a problem. Might have to pack the bike up and take off for an overnight myself.
Glad you enjoyed them so much! We appreciate the support for sure.
Have you tried motorcycle camping and fishing over by the seep lakes
Not yet - but I'll add it to the list!
Royal Enfield arn't the most reliable. I love the way you-guys dont get upset
Hey guys... Sleep on the high side of your bike....
We have a plate for the stand so no chance of falling - thanks for watching!
My daughter is looking for boots like that what brand are they?🤙
Oh sweet! They are redwing boots, the model number wore off so not sure which exact ones, but the quality is great and will last for many more years. I would recommend for sure. 👍
@@joymachinetheshow thank you so much I will see if anyone sells redwings here in Clifton Springs New York. I enjoy videos very much extremely relaxing 🤙😎
Buy an indian yall.
