Hi Jake, can´t see any reason for embarrassment. Very authentic. Stay that way. And once you get used to seeing and hearing yourself on the video I could see a new career starting for you. As far as "planing the trips" is concerned : You already mentioned it, - you wished you had had more time. So, to all of you out there who plan a Bike Trip: don´t make the classic mistake and go easy on the miles/day! Depending what is there to visit and see along the road I find 200 miles /320 km already more than enough. Of course, if you travel on a German Highway to get to some place (and depending on the bike you ride) 600 miles is also possible. But if you are cruising twisties in the Alps - take your time! Jake my man! Stoked your back! 80 year old folks pulled through the COVID. Your trip pulled me though that crazy time. Been tripping on my bike as well, listening to the "chill" music as well! More vids please!
Hello Jake, Love from Indonesia. Thanks for sharing. Now i have motivation to start ride my motorcycle for a long trip. Stay safe and Health Jake 👍👍👍
2 weeks ago i got back from a 5200 mile trip. started in ohio. rode sky line dr. blue ridge pkwy. around the smokies then down to key west. up and over to the everglades. up the west side of fla. to new orleans. rode up to get the natchez trace trail then up to nashville then home. sometimes (when it rained) i stayed in a hotel. sometimes i camped (i have a 2 person tent. that way i can fit all my gear inside) in a campground. i once even stayed in the back part of of truck stop (with the managers permission). that was a 12 day trip. getting ready to ride to bar harbor, maine and acadia national park next week. i also want to ride rt.66. pikes peak. (pch) pacific coast hwy. one of these day. keep making those great videos and keep riding.
Use to do road trips all over Europe. Your vids brought back memories wich slipped away…. Thank you.
Looking forward to many more videos.
A superb follow-up to your cross-country videos! I picked up some great tips, too.
Thanks Kyle! Glad you found it useful
New Subsciber, Australia. I am back riding after a 2 decade break and am finding the bike content such as your Across America series so inspiring. Keep up the great content👍
Thanks Jake for all the info and letting us share in your trip. Hope to do some of this myself in the near future. It's been a couple of decades since I took an epic trip. Beyond ready for another. Ride safe
You've inspired me! I've wanted to do a trip like this my entire life. Newly single at 60, I'm doing it!!!!!!
Lovely video really enjoyed it, my first long Bike trip was over 50 years ago, from the uk around Europe,
Unfortunately no video's in those days or mobile phones I didn't have a credit card and didn't know any one who had one.
But I still have happy memories,
Keep biking stay safe.
I’m subscribing in the hope you put out more videos of traveling on your bike, even short weekend getaways!
Loved these videos. Great to see. You seem like a really nice person. Good luck for the future trips.
I'm in Portsmouth UK. Message of you're in Europe and I can help with anything. 🤙🏻
Bravo! Great job, I enjoyed it immensely!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Cooking looks nice.
I’m looking forward to uploading next.
Thanks Jake, I really enjoyed seeing a Triumph cross America, and to places I've been lucky enough to visit and places that I plan on seeing. Brilliant videos and hope to see more. Stay safe brother. Russ from the UK 🇬🇧
Great Q and A! Your videos have inspired me to do the same. I’m curious how you deal with the copyright issues with your music selection?
Thanks man! Hope you do! Unfortunately I just can't monetize them because of the copyright
@@jakeridesaway Thanks Jake! Not interested in making any money, just want it to have the right music. Gonna make my videos for friends and family to enjoy and the right music makes all the difference. Your ending with “Land Of The Living” was so powerful! Couldn’t have picked a better song. 👍
Really liked your trip, I have been on many of the roads you have been on. I have a 2012 Triumph Thruxton. I use one of my other bikes for touring. I do alot of dual sport rides. Like your channel.
wow I think I've watched you trip 4 or 5 times, this is pretty neat. I figured you'd finished your ride, and were done.
