I’m disabled and some days I don’t even want to keep on trying, a few of Elvis’ songs give me the courage to keep trying…this happens to be one the. Thank you for playing it and for your honest reaction.
Elvis is my favorite singer and has been since I was in high school (I’m nearly 50 now). His voice gives me goosebumps in this song. And when you said it feels like he’s singing *for* you? EXACTLY. Everything you experiencing listening to Elvis is spoton, his kindness his humility his love for all no matter who you are thise hatets out there was jealous of him he still has a large amount of followers even here in south africa and yip there was only one of him he was unique❤❤❤❤
Hon, we know how you feel. I am 80 years old and was there in 1956 and he is amagic. He is one of a kind he touched your heart. Why do you think he has sold more than records than any single artist of all time. Thanks for keeping his memory alive.
People hate Elvis because he was so good looking Beautiful voice Charisma Stage presence Amazing jumpsuits And most importantly Elvis loved his fans as much as they loved him Only one word why people hated Elvis JEALOUSY

When Elvis blasts out of the BARITONE RANGE and brings his BASS ROOTS into the TENOR RANGE AND ABOVE it's remarkable. NO ONE SANG LIKE HIM. It's that Southern CHURCH AUTHENTIC FEEL. He mastered that. Noone could stay in that MID SECTION that he does and score hits but Elvis did just that. Baritone and GRIT. He sells the song home EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Like he's not even trying. GOLDEN LICKS from the skies above.
Wow , that’s a great explanation. Didn’t know all the names of notes . I know he’s the only entertainer who can awaken my spirit, even on the darkest days .

Elvis's voice was kissed by god ,people till this day can't understand how is it possible that this man can sing in so many ranges ,Elvis can sing anything
So many old clips of him hitting insane notes, many didn't know he listened to Hispanic music, operas, literally everything. Cliche he typically hit low notes, but off stage he can hit everything
He was a man who transcends time. Elvis is so Charismatic he doesn't have to sing. Beautiful man and beautiful song. He does a passionate bent and he touches your heart. It's a slow build. Been a fan since 56 and no one comes close. Thanks for your great reaction. And you won't believe his gospel music. He has sold more gospel music than any single artist in the world. Be blessed
I'm not knocking Elvis, my sister was a huge fan of. his as was my Mother and most the rest of the world it was constantly playing in our house on the record player . I'm just saying that John Farnham is also an singer and entertainer, and perhaps does different genres. We all have our favourites , opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one, and I'm entitled to my opinion as well. Once again, Elvis was fine I'm not saying he wasn't .
Elvis's heart and soul was rooted in the church, that's where the power of his performances came from. I love seeing the awe and respect on your face as you watch/listen to Elvis... It is well earned and deserved.
Incredibly honest reaction to a mesmeric rendition. A bit of background to this performance - 11 August 1970, Dinner Show in Las Vegas By August 1970 Elvis was back on top, not just the king of rock 'n' roll but now arguably the King of entertainment. The six shows filmed by MGM for That's The Way It Is showcase Elvis at the height of his powers. He had managed to combine the theatrics and bombast of Vegas, and incorporate them in his show which resulted in a performance that was almost as much Broadway as Las Vegas. Now Elvis had finally found a way in which to integrate all of his musical influences, and country music for example, finally had a place within the Elvis repertoire. Probably the biggest musical influence on Elvis, and that closest to his heart, was gospel music and in 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' he found a song in which that influence could shine through. Whereas the original recording by Simon (the song's composer) and Garfunkel is somewhat subdued Elvis turns it into a powerful showpiece. This performance, only the second time that he had sung it live, is Elvis Presley at his absolute peak and anyone who hears this cannot possibly have any doubts as to his vocal prowess or to the magnificent entertainer that he had become.
Why he got hate its simply: He looked amazing, great dancer, amazing voice could sing anything and had charisma out of this world!. And people can't take that someone is so talented, therefore they criticize instead
People are afraid of the thing they don't get their hands one.. lack of understanding is a curse.. The man was a gift and still is - if you like it or not, the effect is unstoppable like circles in water - even in this time Just that should tell you enough!
The performance here must be the one witnessed by the song's writer Paul Simon. His reaction? He is said to have blurted out, "Now what am I supposed to do?" He knew Elvis had taken the song to a level no one else ever could. It was like a religious experience. It was as if God had spoken through Elvis, using the words of Paul Simon. Divine is a word that comes to mind.
You are seeing feeling how authentic Elvis was...Loved people all people...Never another man with so much raw talent and charisma. That smile is killer...
I love your Elvis reactions. One can feel the effect he has on you. And this reminds me of myself. Why some people still talk bad about him? Because he was so good, so different, so humble, so human and yet so alien-like (if you know what l mean). Elvis is love. Period. Thank you. Keep em comin'. TCB
Something happens to me when I listen to Elvis, there is a humility when he sings a most as if he is living it or has lived it. Please react to Elvis singing American Trilogy Aloha from Hawaii.another song that pulls at your heart. People are always going to hate no matter what the topic is. That's why it's so important to do your own homework.
I was born in 1962 and my parents were huge Elvis fans, I feel how you do when I listen to Elvis.. He was the greatest gospel singer I have ever heard.. I know he does a lot of different kinds of songs, but his gospel for me is very moving..
It warms my heart to see you falling for the Elvis experience!! I’m. 55 years old and was 8 when he died and I can remember it like it was yesterday. His story is a tragedy and sad!! But he was the most amazing singer and entertainer ever! He’s the king of rock and roll! He always said there was only one king and that he wasn’t him! Humor, humility, and passionate about life. Thank you for sharing your experience with us!! TCB⚡️
Makes me sad to hear ppl hate Elvis... the man loved everyone and was truly an Icon yes we now know he had a drug problem... but I think we should all let that go.. and just appreciate the man and his incredible voice and his impact
I like John Farnham. Legend. But Elvis owns this song in a live environment. Elvis’ passion and story telling is on another level. His deep baritone was something no one had - it was cavernous. And those backup singers raised the bar again. Impossible to match Presley on a stage- practically everyone including John Farnham were influenced by him.
The voice, the best band, the best back up singers...only Elvis ❤ Great reaction. Love his movies especially the early ones and some of the later ones too. Jealous of his talent and his great looks.
Elvis Presley holding court in the largest showroom in Las Vegas 1970 smashing the attendance records he broke/set the year before. Lets be honest, haters are going to hate, thats why Elvis’ manager The Colonel used to sell both “I Love Elvis pins” and “I Hate Elvis pins! The facts are what they are, Elvis Presley remains the most successful solo recording artist of all time, Elvis Rocks! TCB⚡️
Elvis fan forever, I remember all the music my parents listened to on the radio .Am 80 and so loved the birth of rock n roll..I am an original..My fave Elvis movie soundtrack is King Creole.. His first movie was love me tender and he was not the lead so it was awhile before he appeared on the screen all the girls in the cinema was screaming….
The GOAT. I’m 62 years old. I know of no one who dislikes Elvis. God bless you for appreciating what we grew up with. His voice makes you feel the song deep into our souls .
Love the reaction Brother ,I'm also late being a mid 60 s dude. Always liked the KING ,but in the last 6 months I abosolutly LOVE ELVIS. Let's continue to discover everything that makes Elvis The KING ! Much Love from MInnesota .
Elvis is Elvis, unique in every way. At the beginning of his career when he was asked: "Who do you sound like?", his answer was: "I don`t sound like anybody!"
Elvis was for the people. Elvis said help a brother along the way. Remember the same god that made you made him to. Elvis help a lot of people over the years. Most of it. Was not in public..................be water my friend
This performance is one of his very best! I've listened to this performance multiple times and every time I'm just as enthralled as I was the first time. One thing that makes this so unique is because he orchestrates every bit of it. From the rehearsals all the way through this performance and every bit of it is all his idea and his artistry. With this being a live performance with the musicians, the band members and his backup singers... it's just a masterpiece! He looks so good and he sounds amazing. I can also tell that this song meant alot to him❤ he was very passionate throughout his whole performance. You can also tell that he was sweltering in his outfit. There will never be anyone like Elvis❤ great reaction!
It’s called JEALOUSY! Anyone that says Elvis is trash tells me more about them than anything else ever could. Just because no one has ever or will ever come close to his all around talent doesn’t give anyone the right to bash him. The man could sing and he was beautiful to look at. He was the epitome of debonair. Many just can’t handle that. I would’ve volunteered to try, though! He’s the best, hands down. No one delivers a song like him or looks better doing it. No one. He didn’t need a choreographer, vocal coach, auto tune, nothing. That’s a lot more than more than a few can say these days. Put a real mic in some of their hands and we’ll all be running to the nearest exit. That’s the truth.
I Love how Elvis sings this song, about this song this is what I found out: It is made by Simon & Garfunkel. After the album Bridge over Troubled Water in 1970, Simon embarked on a successful solo career. No one else has earned the epithet "world class songwriter" more. For five decades, Paul Simon has built bridges not only over "troubled waters" but across entire oceans by musically uniting different continents. But Elvis sing this song so beautiful and graceful that you may think it was written for him.
Us Elvis fans know exactly how you feel believe me. If you are not an Elvis fan there is no way to explain it, and if you are a fan no explanation is necessary. Thank you for reacting to the GOAT!
I agree with you I always watch his face. He is always into the words, he feels them deep in his soul. And when he closes his eyes, he's lost in the music. Awesome, awesome.
You are spot on. Elvis is Elvis. No one has or will come close to the way he takes a song & makes it his own. He sings with such soul & heart. He tells the story with that exquisite voice with expert range. But never to disrespect the original artist. He never disappoints. That is why he is so respected and loved. Paul Simon had said when he heard Elvis' rendition of this song: "We may as well pack our bags and go home. How can you top that?" Enjoy your journey!😊
The reason there are haters of Elvis out there is as simple as one word ...... THAT IS STILL TO THIS DAY IN PLAY ........ 46 YEARS AFTER LEAVING THE STAGE ...... AND THAT ONE WORD IS .................... {JEALOUSY } ...... JEALOUSY SPREADS ...... RUMORS ...... LIES ...... GOSSIP ........ MISCONCEPTION ........ HATE ....... NO BRAG ...... JUST FACT .......
Magnificent. Elvis was unique and in a league of his own.I will stop there and let you enjoy the Elvis journey and you are so right about him touching your soul because that's what he does to me .
Elvis put so much emotion and passion into his performances that it's impossible not to sit up and listen to him sing he was n still is the Goat no one comes close he was the total package great reaction for a unique human being thank you for taking the time to discover how truly great he was 😊
I agree but It's unfortunate that there are so many of his shows that aren't available to see and hear, e.g. = certain lake tahoe shows, many from between 1954 & 56 ESPECIALLY the very early ones '54 & '55 too bad not on video - but thankfully we have what we have
I love Elvis Presley he grew up in poverty he Learned how to sing in a church in tupelo Mississippi he sang with Black people that's where his gospel roots came he was taught so much and also alot of people dont know which I'm a very big fan his but if I can dream was because of Martin Luther King jr. I recently also found out that Elvis Presley was so broken hearted when Mr King died he cried Elvis Presley loved him
Great reaction. And yeah, it wasn't just in his music, he was a really special human being. If you haven't watched it yet, there is a short documentary called Elvis and the Black Community. I've seen a lot of people react to part 1 of it, and it's a real eye-opener. I bet you would dig it.
Spot on! He sang with humility! No one can touch that man. He had it all! Looks, voice, stage presence and to boot, he was loving, generous and kind. Loving Elvis Forever from Canada 🇨🇦.
I think some people just make a living from showing hate to others, I've been a huge Elvis fan for 45 years. Although I enjoy other music, especially the purity of hearing Karen Carpenter but I always come back to Elvis because there is a warmth, peace and spirituality to his music. Hearing him sing you can just feel the beautiful person he was. RIP and thanks for showing us all what the power of goodness can achieve.
'THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE WORLD CROWNED KING''. The KING Of MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT.THE UNTOUCHABLE, GREATEST OF ALL TIME. KING ELVIS AARON PRESLEY. ''TCB'' UNTIL THE END OF TIME.
Anyone who doesn’t like Elvis is a hater or knows absolutely nothing about music. This man had the greatest voice ever had the greatest impact on the world. I mean, when I was a kid, I stood in my mirror, shaking my leg and singing, trying to be like Elvis Presley and I imagine a lot of the people did too, I was lucky enough to see him live 1973. I was 12 years old. My sister Lorraine took me five hours from the stage the experience of a lifetime.
That's Elvis. He has that unique voice. No one compares to him when you hear him sing. Brings out all the Feelys. You would've enjoyed seeing him live. I love watching your reactions to discovering Elvis for yourself 😊 Elvis all the way 🎤🎶🎸
Unfortunately it's easier for people to believe a lie that to do research to find the truth! All Elvis fans know the truth and have been blessed to be able to have Elvis in our lives! The ones who choose to believe a lie and not do your own research have lost out.
I was 12 when Elvis died, and I cried and cried for weeks. I loved him and his music so much. I think I watched every movie he ever made too. Now.... I just watched your reaction to our John Farnham doing this song and they are so completely different. Elvis has that deep, silky voice, where John has a higher smoother voice. Well, that's my opinion anyway. I love them both and although I grew up with easy access to John (I'm Aussie, living in Melbourne), I will always have a special place in my heart, and my music list, for Elvis. There will always only ever be one Elvis Presley and there will only ever be one John Farnham. Love your reactions too btw 🥰
It's always hard to explain the way Elvis can make you feel when you hear him ... he makes each song very personal , as if he is singing just to you ! He can move your very soul with his voice ! TCB forever !
I was watching Elvis back in 2005. There was no UA-cam to geek out with others. I legitimately felt alone in my love and respect for Elvis. This is wild watching all you reactors hear and see him for the first time. I was coming out of a marriage at 23 years old that obviously didn't work out. Elvis lifted me back up to where I need to be. I listened to many of his songs with tears in my eyes. Thank you to all reactors for keeping the KING ALIVE. Much respect to Austin Butler. R.I.P ELVIS PRESLEY.

Simon and Garfunkel wrote bridge over troubled water and they were in the audience and after listening to him they said to each other shit how r we going to sing this after he did such a perfect job 😅😅

When Elvis sings it as if he is singing directly to you. The way you feel about him is the way everyone who loves Elvis feels. I think you should watch the 2 part video "Elvis and the Black Community. It will teach you how Elvis really was.
You are spot on! Someone may remind you of Elvis, but noone can compare to him once you hear his vocal ability! He transports you to another world! Ty! I absolutely love your appreciation for this legend!
This song was written by Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel and a massive hit for them. But when Paul Simon heard Elvis perform their song he simply said” how the heck can we follow that?” Elvis’s voice is phenomenal and he always makes every song his own, singing with his heart and soul. He cared so much to entertain his audiences. It’s so cool to see his affect on you and see the realisation that he was an incredible human. No dark side to Elvis. What you see is what you got. A talented perfectionist,a humble, kind and generous soul who just wanted to make people happy. Millions of Global fans over 7 decades ( and still getting new ones) can’t be wrong. The haters in the background just pretend because of jealousy and the mistaken belief it’s not “cool” to admire Elvis, or are still mislead by bogus information put out in the 1950s. If you really want to go to church with Elvis, do listen to his Grammy winning gospel song” How Great Thou Art”👌🕺💕
Other entertainers were jealous of Elvis. Everything he recorded went gold, Platinum and multi-platinum in sales. His peers gave him the name "King Of Rock & Roll". In 1956 and 1957 Elvis had over 20 Gold Records while others were struggling to get a hit or at least 1 gold Record... You have to go to Graceland and witness the Largest display of Music Awards in History for a Solo Artist or Group. Over 1 Billion Records Sold. More than any other recording artist.
He was a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful man in so many ways, and like you said Dan chest, his voice, which was fantastic, and let me know either, but because he was just a great man, he did so much for so many others. He really had a heart of gold. He was amazing and there’s no one in this world that will convince me otherwise. It’s too bad we don’t have more people like him in this world, because the world would be a better place
Original is Simon & Garfunkel. Written by Paul Simon who said in an interview that Elvis sang it the way it should be sung. He also basically said even he couldn't sing it better than Elvis. Simon praised the "dramatic" version of the song in a 1972 interview. He added: "But so was the song. When I first heard Elvis perform Bridge Over Troubled Water it was unbelievable." He went on to berate himself, however, saying: "I thought to myself: 'How the hell can I compete with that?'" My favorite Elvis movie is Charro. No singing at all (only one where he didn't sing a single note other than the theme song). 2nd favorite is Harum Scarum because my favorite song is *So Close Yet So Far* that he sings in that movie.
You're right he was so powerful in his voice and at the same time so passionate and he really did make you feel like he was singing right to you. The best movies in my opinion are, loving you, jail house rock, king creole and blue Hawaii.
Amazing live The G.O.A.T.Thank you, Thank you, very much.theres so much Envy And jealousy for this man and he never hated any body. Mohammad ali, loved him,Sammy davis Jr, James Brown,Eddie Murphy, BB king,Asaa Hayes,Fats Domino,Jackie Wilson, and alot more God bless you, my friend,Rip Elvis, The G.O.A.T. 🕺☝👍👊🇵🇷🇺🇲❤🙏
I’m disabled and some days I don’t even want to keep on trying, a few of Elvis’ songs give me the courage to keep trying…this happens to be one the. Thank you for playing it and for your honest reaction.
Gebe nie auf ich wünsche dir viel Kraft lG aus Deutschland Elvis gibt uns die Kraft durch seine Musik nicht zu verzweifeln

Elvis' voice is like warm butter, flowing down a waterfall of warm butter, into a river of warm butter, that empties into an ocean of warm butter.
😂👍👍👍
You can’t find anyone better than Elvis❤️🔥

When u listen to Elvis he steals your heart and soul!!!!
A live recording from the 70 s. No tech stuff, just his pure voice, beautiful. No one can compare to him ever

The man and his music was off the charts. Beautiful soul.
Man, that just blows every other version of that out of the water. No one else comes close to this guy. As a pure vocalist, he has no peer. Add to that his stage presence and off the charts charisma...come on.
A vocal masterpiece!
Wow , that’s a great explanation. Didn’t know all the names of notes . I know he’s the only entertainer who can awaken my spirit, even on the darkest days .
Elvis grew up very poor, and had a very close relationship to his mother. She was very strict on him because she loved him so much. His dad was even in prison for a while, which made him his mom even closer.
Then, when Elvis served in the army, his mom died, and it was almost as if his whole world had stopped! He never ever really recovered from his mom’s death, even though he became a huge star.

Truth
Indeed!
You articulated what I’ve been trying to covey to non fans for years who think he’s overrated .
That voice that touches your soul... the looks 🥰
That's ELVIS A. PRESLEY
AND THATS JUST WAY IT IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE ONE..❤
Yes, beautiful. I can't get enough of my Elvis. I love you, Elvis, always.
Elvis's voice was kissed by god ,people till this day can't understand how is it possible that this man can sing in so many ranges ,Elvis can sing anything

Yes Ma'am!!!!!!!! For Sure!!!!!!!!
He hit every note perfect to my heart and ears!!! Long Live The King of Rock and Roll!!!!
He was a man who transcends time. Elvis is so Charismatic he doesn't have to sing. Beautiful man and beautiful song. He does a passionate bent and he touches your heart. It's a slow build. I think your right. Fans have always felt like Elvis sings directly to them, not to the audience.
Elvis's heart and soul was rooted in the church, that's where the power of his performances came from.
I love seeing the awe and respect on your face as you watch/listen to Elvis... It is well earned and deserved.
Incredibly honest reaction to a mesmeric rendition.
A bit of background to this performance - 11 August 1970, Dinner Show in Las Vegas
By August 1970 Elvis was back on top, not just the king of rock 'n' roll but now arguably the King of entertainment.
Well said Leon. ⚡👍🥇👊
Amen, Leon ;-)
Great
Why he got hate its simply: He looked amazing, great dancer, amazing voice could sing anything and had charisma out of this world!. And people can't take that someone is so talented, therefore they criticize instead
People are afraid of the thing they don't get their hands one.. lack of understanding is a curse..
The man was a gift and still is - if you like it or not, the effect is unstoppable like circles in water - even in this time
Just that should tell you enough!
Así nomas es puro talento de ay la envidia asia el rey
It's racist left-wing democrats who hate the king
💯 agree
Not all people. So many appreciated him including other stars. The ones hating just got louder…
Elvis Presley was more than a great entertainer - a civil rights supporter, a peacemaker, a great gift to humanity.
Elvis has the ability to draw you in , like he's singing directly to you. You can't take your eyes off him.
Elvis doesn't just sing a song, he puts his heart and soul in it.
I was born in 1962 and my parents were huge Elvis fans, I feel how you do when I listen to Elvis..
He was the greatest gospel singer I have ever heard..
I know he does a lot of different kinds of songs, but his gospel for me is very moving..
Beautiful song beautiful singer beautiful reaction ❤
There is nobody you can compare Elvis to. It's not stupid at all! Elvis is incomparable. That's why he was the real deal.. .
He could sing anything. His talent was so amazing.
TCB⚡️
Elvis fan forever, I remember all the music my parents listened to on the radio .Am 80
and so loved the birth of rock n roll..I am an original..My fave Elvis movie soundtrack is King Creole..
There is no comparison its only Elvis. Fan from south africa ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Paul Simon said this was his favorite cover of his song.. Elvis is Magic!!
Some can hate him all they want, but the man still has millions and millions of fans that still love him to this day.
Cool Brother.... The King 👑👍
Great reaction!! I LOVE how you appreciate Elvis!!! He's amazing!! Thank you!!
George Klein's words
Elvis had everything! Men were just JEALOUS! Looks, body, voice, every woman loved him!
How can you top that?"
Enjoy your journey!😊
Elvis live was unbelievable. Elvis was funny on stage he was fantastic in person
The reason there are haters of Elvis out there is as simple as one word ...... THAT IS STILL TO THIS DAY IN PLAY ........ 46 YEARS AFTER LEAVING THE STAGE ...... AND THAT ONE WORD IS .................... {JEALOUSY } ...... JEALOUSY SPREADS ...... RUMORS ...... LIES ...... GOSSIP ........ MISCONCEPTION ........ HATE ....... NO BRAG ...... JUST FACT .......
Nobody ever talks about Elvis" breath control which was amazing.
Love your reaction! I get it, we all get it, Elvis is a legend, The King.
Magnificent. Elvis was unique and in a league of his own.I will stop there and let you enjoy the Elvis journey and you are so right about him touching your soul because that's what he does to me .
Elvis put so much emotion and passion into his performances that it's impossible not to sit up and listen to him sing he was n still is the Goat no one comes close he was the total package great reaction for a unique human being thank you for taking the time to discover how truly great he was 😊
Yes, he is the GOAT in music, no one compares! 🥇👊⚡🔥
I agree but It's unfortunate that there are so many of his shows that aren't available to see and hear, e.g. = certain lake tahoe shows, many from between 1954 & 56 ESPECIALLY the very early ones '54 & '55 too bad not on video - but thankfully we have what we have
@@db90990 I can't understand why all the extra concerts and footage won't be released? I thought after the Elvis movie they'd do this??? 🤔
@@Wildlife_SA. yep, strange & unfortunate
@dannyb8588 At least we've got you tube now thank god for small mercies 🥺
His voice was phenomenal wat a legend never forgotten 🙏♥️♥️
❤ from scotland🏴 god was showing of when made ELVIS
And that why Elvis was and is still the King. Only Elvis ❤ Love your wonderful heartfelt reaction. Love his movies too.
Evis captures your soul ♥️
NO ONE SINGS THIS LIKE ELVIS. ANY SONG HE SINGS, HE OWNS. THE KING FOREVER❤❤❤❤
I love watching your reactions to discovering Elvis for yourself 😊 Elvis all the way 🎤🎶🎸
Elvis is the G.O.A.T!!!❤❤
Unfortunately it's easier for people to believe a lie that to do research to find the truth! All Elvis fans know the truth and have been blessed to be able to have Elvis in our lives! The ones who choose to believe a lie and not do your own research have lost out.
Elvis, never was a top 5, but always #1...
It's all in one word. Elvis.
Elvis is the man. Multiple ways. Sadly we probably never see talent like he. I hope we do of course.

Simon and Garfunkel wrote bridge over troubled water and they were in the audience and after listening to him they said to each other shit how r we going to sing this after he did such a perfect job 😅😅
Elvis makes you feel like Noone is in the room but you when he sings
That's what I love about his music

When Elvis sings it as if he is singing directly to you. The way you feel about him is the way everyone who loves Elvis feels. I think you should watch the 2 part video "Elvis and the Black Community. It will teach you how Elvis really was.
You are spot on! Someone may remind you of Elvis, but noone can compare to him once you hear his vocal ability! He transports you to another world! Ty! I absolutely love your appreciation for this legend!
This song was written by Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel and a massive hit for them. But when Paul Simon heard Elvis perform their song he simply said” how the heck can we follow that?”
Elvis’s voice is phenomenal and he always makes every song his own, singing with his heart and soul.
Paul Simon wrote the song. Art Garfunkle sang it...
@@jaredhowe2847 Correct. Paul joined in at the last verse, with Art...
Elvis, has a great and good gospel collection. He always gives it his all. What a big hunk of 😍 love.
Nobody, I mean no body can come close to S & G. Garfunkel was just out of this world singing this song. Elvis voice does not suit this masterpiece.
Elvis had so much pathos in his voice...
When I first heard Elvis perform Bridge Over Troubled Water it was unbelievable."
He went on to berate himself, however, saying: "I thought to myself: 'How the hell can I compete with that?'"
My favorite Elvis movie is Charro.
ELVIS... Immortal!! … A singer for eternity!!! … 💎🕺🏻✨🕯✨ Thank you
👑 ELVIS = GOAT………✌🏻🇺🇸
