Can vouch for the Lian Li Lancool 207. Picked it up for my recent build, and the thermals are crazy good. I also got the Lian Li Edge L shaped PSU, so I'm not sure how tough cable management would be with a standard PSU because of how tight things are. But this case/PSU combo was about $200, and it was excellent overall.

@ yeah my current pc has been having some issues with randomly crashing out of nowhere so I’m gonna do a little upgrade factory reset it and see how much I can get for it I can’t find the reason as to why it keeps crashing
I was lucky that I could buy my Sapphire Pulse 7800XT from Amazon Warehouse brand new, with extra discount, for 405€. But, seen that Amazon EU didn't participate in the free games action I haggled an extra 40€ of. So, I ended up with a 7800XT for 364€. You won't hear me complain. Combined it with a 7500F. I think I'm good for the next couple of years, and then I'll have a look at what the price of the X3D did.
Watching your videos for the past 3 months or so prepared me for my targeted build of under $2k. I've kinda settled on 9800x3D and 7900xt combo. I think the XTX is a bit too much overkill for my specific use case as I use a G9 Samsung super ultrawide 1440p 240hz and I play a ton of CPU intensive games. I realize even the 7900xt is overkill for 1440p as you've stated but at least it keeps the 9800x3d respectable haha.

Hi, I’d like some advice. I’m currently using a Ryzen 7 1700X and a GTX 1080 on an MSI X370 Krait Gaming motherboard. I’ve been recommended two configurations: one with a 12600KF and an RX 7800 XT, but I’d need a recommendation for a motherboard. The other option is a Ryzen 5700X3D with an RX 7800 XT while keeping my current motherboard, but I’m afraid I might lose performance. What would you recommend?

So if I’m a gamer who also uses his computer for AutoCAD engineering modeling, will the $1200 level gaming PC still cover the usefulness of that $1000 productivity build?
Hey Scatter! I’m planning to build my first gaming pc (1440p) and I’m able to get an RX6800 for £339 (Brand new). I’m planning to go for R7 7700. Will this be a good combo or you’d suggest something better for the same price range (£510 in total for the CPU + GPU I mentioned)
One question, how much is the Montech XR case over there? Seen some nice reviews of it and also ordered it now, would you try to put it in one of your builds?
Genuine Question, Which one do yall think is a better $1k pc build? CRATER’s $1k pc build from 2 months ago or ScatterVolt’s $1k pc build? I’m trying to build my very first pc and I want it to be worth my money.
@@ScatterVolt hahaha thats awesome. I can just picture that smile as you respond to this like *bro yer in my videos comments obviously biased here* haha thats great
The Phantom Gaming GPU has a flaw, they missed thermal paste on one of it's VRM so on benchmarks it looks like it's really cool but in reality, it's just because the temp sensor is getting less heat due to lack of heat redirection from the lack of thermal paste.
I’m very much considering purchasing the $1200 gaming pc I currently have a i5 w 1660 supra. Is there anything I should know before switching from intel to AMD?
yoooo love the video and i got a question for a 2300$ pc build should i go for rtx 4080 or rx 7900 xtx and what cpu do u recommend under 600$ budget bro
CPU I recommend for under 600? The one that's on the $600 pcbuilds.gg list obviously lol. For the GPU that's up to you. I describe the difference many times in videos like this: ua-cam.com/video/9km39U_ghmA/v-deo.html
@@Anonymous2837-c2lif your priority is gaming only, don't spend 600 dollars on cpu go with 9800X3D or 7800X3D. If you need for gaming and productivity, then 7950X3D or 14700K(but I won't suggest you to go with Intel, since there is no upgrade path).
I want to build my very first pc and all im gonna do with it is probably to play fortnite or call of duty with good fps maybe around 300-400. What would be the best build for that?
Yes I watched it already 😄 Thank you! 6800 seems like a no brainer but I am worried about AMd’s support into the future since it’s an older card. Much appreciate your hard work and content!
So I want a pc that will be able to create large video games in unreal engine 5/unity. It needs to render many objects at once and be smooth running it. Which pc would u recommend for this? (I also wanna game on it too)
I'd build my $2500 PC with a X870 motherboard, but, I'd wait like two months. Wait for the 9950X3D and the RTX 5090, both of which aren't out yet. Then also double the ram to 64GB. If that's too much for you then one of my existing multimedia and productivity PCs should be fine.
@@ScatterVoltSo um I really only have $1k max maybe $1.2k to spend 😢. Would the 1k or 1.2k work fine? I don’t need it to be the greatest but do u think those would work alright or would u say to save up for a while? Thanks
@@ScatterVolt Thanks so much for your help. Just 1 more question because I don’t know a lot about pc’s😅. If I got the 4070 would the cpu not let the 4070 reach its full potential bc it’s like limiting it or would the 4070 make the cpu work really hard? And would there leave room for improvement for the future? Thanks a lot and sorry for all these questions haha
Hi there. I discovered your channel yesterday. I am currently looking to sell my PS5 and get a gaming PC next year since Sony and Microsoft are both launching their games on the PC and it makes more sense to go PC for the future. Do you think it would be wise to wait for the next gen GPU's to drop or you reckon the current gen GPU's will be good enough for the forseeable future? I am looking to build a 1600 -1800$ PC mostly for Gaming and some light productivity/photo editing. I don't play multiplayer so its mostly for single player games with great visuals
I feel like going with a 5700X3D and going with a better GPU would be better for some builds like 1200$ or 1500$. Ofc the downside is you don't have any upgrade path.
can you have it where you can say include monitor or certain other components with the slider? I don't need a monitor or powersupply or case. It would be nice to have more options to customize your build guides
Thank you bro for the vid? I am trying to build something fast for trading. Around 1k budget. I need atleast 32gb and fast and stable connection to wifi. What build should I go for? Thank you so much in advance ❤❤❤
Invest more in your internet than a pc lol. It doesn’t matter what you use as long as you have a good ISP and an Ethernet cable from the PC to your router haha.
Regarding the $1000 build, is the $650 6750xt really a better choice than spending $50 more for a 7800xt or was that just in the interest of making the numbers work? I think I'd drop the cable extensions to make that trade.
@ScatterVolt Yeah, in Canada. Took me a minute to figure out why the numbers on the video page and the numbers at the links weren't lining up. By the time it registered, I'd already commented. My ego can handle a little public "oops" so I didn't bother deleting it. 😁
is it a good idea to wait for the nvidia 50 series to come out just to reassess everything? or are the 50 series priced so high that it will not affect anything? (price of older cards/ value of new cards)

Which phantom gaming GPU?
Whoa you’re that little kid lol, crazy, definitely time fly
Recently subscribed for content like this thank you man 🙏
Awesome, are you planning to build your first PC soon?
@ yep got some money saved up and I want to make use of these deals
Good luck!
I’m very much considering purchasing the $1200 gaming pc I currently have a i5 w 1660 supra. Is there anything I should know before switching from intel to AMD?
Nothing. It’s just different silicon at the end of the day.
yoooo love the video and i got a question for a 2300$ pc build should i go for rtx 4080 or rx 7900 xtx and what cpu do u recommend under 600$ budget bro
CPU I recommend for under 600? The one that's on the $600 pcbuilds.gg list obviously lol.
For the GPU that's up to you. I describe the difference many times in videos like this: ua-cam.com/video/9km39U_ghmA/v-deo.html
@@ScatterVolt yooooo the goat responded thanks and i love ur pc builds man ,i will be building one soon too hope its exciting and fun experience
How good is the Ryzen 7 5700x3d with a Radeon rx6600?
Lookup “5700x3d + 6600 benchmarks” on UA-cam or Google to see how good 😉
Just ordered my components for PC. It is gonna be first build. 7700x with RX 7700 XT
Congrats!
I’ve been considering doing my first build with that combo. Hope it works well for you!
Do you have any plans to update your website to include Australia?
We do, first we wanna make sure Canada and UK work though
@@ScatterVolt I appreciate your response I am looking forward to the potential
congrats on the great website too btw
Battlefield 1440p which one is better? with 240hz monitor 2k
7600x 4070ti super or
7800x3d 4070 super
7600x and 4070 ti super
I want to build my very first pc and all im gonna do with it is probably to play fortnite or call of duty with good fps maybe around 300-400. What would be the best build for that?
One of the 1080p 240fps, 1440p 240fps, or 4K 240fps pc builds depending on your resolution
Hey 👋 If you can pick one, 6800 or 7700XT, which one would you pick and why?
Considering 6800 is 16GB VRAM + $30-40 cheaper.
I answer this here:
🚨Black Friday Deals? - BEST 👑 Gaming GPUs to buy in November 2024!
ua-cam.com/video/9km39U_ghmA/v-deo.html
Yes I watched it already 😄 Thank you!
6800 seems like a no brainer but I am worried about AMd’s support into the future since it’s an older card.
Much appreciate your hard work and content!
AMD just finished supporting their RX 500 GPUs from 2017
Let’s get it done then 😄 6800 it is then. Thank you sir! Love your site and pre build pcs btw
When building a pc just watch out for the cables from the case to the motherboard.
Thanks
Build my 1K PC but get a 4070 or 4070 super next week on Black Friday
@@ScatterVolt Thanks so much for your help. Just 1 more question because I don’t know a lot about pc’s😅. If I got the 4070 would the cpu not let the 4070 reach its full potential bc it’s like limiting it or would the 4070 make the cpu work really hard? And would there leave room for improvement for the future? Thanks a lot and sorry for all these questions haha
My 7900gre, 7800x3d does 4k at around 60ish all max settings, no RT. I'm happy. However will upgrade later for VR...
Nice
Schould I get this pc?
Processor: Intel Core I7 6700 4GHz turbo
Motherboard: Gigabyte
RAM: 16GB DDR4 - Dual Channel
Video card: Asus RX 6600 8GB GDDR6
Storage: 250GB Samsung SSD
Storage 2: 500GB SSHD
Housing: GAMDIAS RGB
Operating system: Windows 11 pro
Get a PC with an old AMD CPU so you have a feasible cpu upgrade path
Hey great video quick question, does it really matter what GPU in the 7800xt series do i get?
If you get the wrong one then your pc will explode 😱
Black Friday Deals are going to be really good for Nvidia GPUs, which are the ones you’d want to look into for more than just gaming (AI, 3D modeling)
Does it make sense to buy a build like your 1200 dollars one right now, or should i wait for 2/3 months to get the new gpus?
What’ll be certain is Black Friday deals coming soon
What isn’t certain is how good and/or affordable those new GPUs will be (minus scalpers)
Is a 6800 just as good as a 7700 xt?
I have the answer in here!
🚨Black Friday Deals? - BEST 👑 Gaming GPUs to buy in November 2024!
ua-cam.com/video/9km39U_ghmA/v-deo.html
where’s the nvidia gpu builds? are they not worth it?
There is one in here. It uses the 4070 Ti Super which is my favorite Nvidia card at the moment.
I feel like going with a 5700X3D and going with a better GPU would be better for some builds like 1200$ or 1500$. Ofc the downside is you don't have any upgrade path.
I like futureproofing my builds to save money in the long run
Sorry new viewers here, why using amd only on cpu and gpu?
They’re the best all-around choices for pc gaming and are the most likely to receive steep discounts for BF & CM
can you have it where you can say include monitor or certain other components with the slider? I don't need a monitor or powersupply or case. It would be nice to have more options to customize your build guides
I’ll have to think about that. The idea is sound but the execution could be difficult lol.
I have faith in you brother! And it would be an amazing feature
Who can bless me with a gaming PC as an early Christmas gift
I got the 9800X3D, currently using my old 2070. Gonna wait for RDNA 4
Fair enough, I hope it delivers!
Does the $1600 build not need a storage component?
Oh, I forgot to add an SSD 😄
is there a build guide for your $1200 pc?
Click on the $1200 link and see if there is an attached video!
@ScatterVolt thank you so much for your reply. Waiting for Black Friday to come
Regarding the $1000 build, is the $650 6750xt really a better choice than spending $50 more for a 7800xt or was that just in the interest of making the numbers work? I think I'd drop the cable extensions to make that trade.
Let me guess, you’re not in the US? You’re using Canada pricing?
You’re on the right track.
@ScatterVolt Yeah, in Canada. Took me a minute to figure out why the numbers on the video page and the numbers at the links weren't lining up. By the time it registered, I'd already commented. My ego can handle a little public "oops" so I didn't bother deleting it. 😁
Yessir the mustache
It’s helping me power through
I dropped everything when i saw black Friday pc deals
Haha
is it a good idea to wait for the nvidia 50 series to come out just to reassess everything? or are the 50 series priced so high that it will not affect anything? (price of older cards/ value of new cards)
Good luck trying to get a 50 series card at launch
Will the 7700 xt push average 360 fps in CS2 1440p low settings?
Do i just order the moment blackfriday on amazon starts on 21st nov or wait towards the end ?
I answer that within the first minute of the video :)
Always provide the counter part for GPU with same price point of NVIDIA,
Because the price here for AMD GPU is always 15-20% higher here.
Where is “here”?
shopee is overpowered i was able to find a 475$ build with 5600 and 3070 (3070 on half price)
I have never used Ali Express can you rely on their PC parts?
Cpus yh, that's what I'm going to this black friday is get my cpu from aliexpress although it does take roughly 2 weeks to deliver 🤣
The ones I have linked yes
All I want for Christmas is for the 5090 to be under 2k
lol
wishful thinking am I right
Is 7800x3d and 7900xt a good pair? i want my experience to be playable in 4k and have good performance in 1440p.
See what I recommend on pcbuilds.gg with that same GPU and if I list is as 4k gaming capable or not 😉
Nah the best deal I got prior to Black Friday was a 1tb legion go for $450 blows the rest of the competition out the water
Oh that's insane
@ holy hell you replied 😭 and thanks man felt bad taking it off the dudes hands for so cheap but it was brand new in box couldn’t resist
Oh so that wasn't a black friday deal? You bought it from some dude on the used marketplace?
@@ScatterVolt nah and yes? Lol he said he gave me a deal for Black Friday
