I spent quite a bit more than you did at around 1700€ tax included, but I think with the amount of performance for the price I did pretty well. I really didn't want to skimp out on the ssd, ram and psu so I went with the more reputable brands (Corsair and WD). And I have literally no RGB except for the GPU which has a glowing Gigabyte logo which made it possible to actually build it at a reasonable price. RGB is expensive man especially if you want fans that have decent CFM, so love you Arctic.

I have a gutted Dell Optiplex 7020 MT FF shell that I plan to do this kind of gaming on that kind of budget with. I got it for $20 in a yard sale after opening it up and looking at it, gutted it and planning to use MSI motherboard, AMD processor, and Invidia graphics card. I am keeping it looking as factory as possible except with making the factory buttons and fans RGB and I would be cutting the side panels to add ventilation screens while having a USB C port to go with the 4 USB ports on the front of the case. I think the main issue is using the factory buttons and USB ports while also keeping cable management tidy. I hate dealing with messy wires whether it’s cars, guitars or computers

I found good deals on the 7700X and 7900 GRE so I went with those, but this was my initial pick for my build. Glad to see that I wouldn't have gone wrong with the 7600X and 7800 XT. AMD is really cranking out some beastly hardware for really good prices.
I chose the RX 7700XT in my new pc and i am very happy with it. If you can spend 50$ more go for the 7800XT but if you cannot, 7700XT is amazing at 1440p as well!

I have a budget of around 1500, pretty much nothing more. Could I just do this exact build but upgrade the CPU to a Ryzen 7 7700x, and put in a 4070 super? or could I upgrade something else that would help performance with the extra around 100$ I have. My main question here is can I just slap a 7700x and a 4070 super in this while following the same guide?
I’m in the process of buying my parts to build a pc. And I’ve watched a lot of your videos and in my head i deal like i can do it myself then again I’m afraid of breaking something 😂
You are my fav UA-camer I watch you videos and my dream is to build you white 4k $2000 gaming pc but I don’t know if I can achieve it but I’m trying you have the best vids
I built this exact computer, only got an arctic liquid cooler III 240, which to my surprise doesn't quite fit, it's too big for both side and top mount, so I had to put it in slightly offset, with only 6 screws... but it works.
i’m building my computer tomorrow, it’s gonna be a 7600x and the 7900 gre i’m going with a cheaper montech case though, i got a great deal from micro center it was a cpu mobo combo plus a stick of ram all for 300 dollars
Very similar to my setup but it was a bit more expensive, mostly because I built it around the launch of the RX 7800 XT. Back then the motherboards were much more expensive I paid more than $200 for just the motherboard. If i were to the build to day if think I would go with the GRE instead, it wasn’t out at the time. I use Sony m9 4K 144hz mini-led HDR600 monitor with my XFX Merc 319 black edition, you get away with in newer titles with FSR 3.1 frame generation.
Crazy how in just a few months when 8000 and 5090 release well likely be able to build a 4070s/77x bundle pc for like under 1000$ etc and a 4080s/78x for 1500

I found good deals on the 7700X and 7900 GRE so I went with those, but this was my initial pick for my build. Glad to see that I wouldn't have gone wrong with the 7600X and 7800 XT. AMD is really cranking out some beastly hardware for really good prices.
I never knew I needed pc advice from Shawn post boy meets world, but here we are
Just finished mine! Thanks scattervolt!
Awesome! Enjoy!
How has it been so far?
I chose the RX 7700XT in my new pc and i am very happy with it. If you can spend 50$ more go for the 7800XT but if you cannot, 7700XT is amazing at 1440p as well!
I love the rx 7800 xt with 1440p fps is the perfectly no bottlenecking
^^^
This is the best PC build video i have seen yet amazing work 👍the dude kind a looks like Shawn from Boy Meets World 🙂
Wish I saw this before. Had a friend help me make a build and I ended around 1400$ on just the pc. Luckily I already had a monitor. Only have a msi 3060, 12th gen i7 12700kf, msi mag z790, corsair 750rm, corsair vengeance 2x16, 2tb sn750,corsair a115 cpu cooler, and windows 11 usb. 🙃
Hey bro please tell me if it's fine. Budget is extended already for GPU now so the question is should I scrap the build or go ahead with this(no upgrade)
i5 12400f
H610 asus prime (really cheap in India. B series mobo is 1.5 time its price)
3200 mhz 16GB RAM
NVME SSD
C tier PSU 650w
7700XT GPU
Will drill holes in a cheap office cabinet for plenty of airflow.
What are your thoughts as I need UPS as well so budget is maxed out...
Im building my first gaming PC today, using the 7800X3D, 7900GRE, 32gb 6000mhz CL30 RAM. Cant wait.
Awesome!

Just came a few hours ago from the practical . It was Dissection of Frog...💀 well Atleast the video helped me from the trauma
Thank you so much……this is what I needed now with the same budget. Also would you suggest any 1440p 175hz+ monitor for this setup under 200$
This is my next dream build.
Awesome
First ever "ask for a like" that i actually find charming 😊 liked!
For some reason I like watching pc builds I can’t afford lol.
I’m in the process of buying my parts to build a pc. And I’ve watched a lot of your videos and in my head i deal like i can do it myself then again I’m afraid of breaking something 😂
remember i built my first pc off this channel like 5 years ago
You are my fav UA-camer I watch you videos and my dream is to build you white 4k $2000 gaming pc but I don’t know if I can achieve it but I’m trying you have the best vids
I’m selling it soon on ScatterVolt.com!
Thank you kind sir for this amazing guide. Was really looking forward for this :)
My pleasure!
What is a good upgrade for my 5900X and my 6700 XT with 64 gig of corsair clocked at 3400 MHz. Asus 570 Tuf gaming with WiFi motherboard.
One thing I always do on a build is make sure the BIOS is up to date with the latest release.
I have this build but with a 7900x3d on a b650m aorus elite, it's a monster
Should've got the 7800x3d its better
@annabeldomenech4806 i had 7800x3d took a dump on me in 2 months was defective. So I just got 7900x3d and I'm happy with it.
Kinda depends on what display u got. Im on a 5120x1440. What gpu is best for that? Im currently on a 2070s.
I am following your guide to build one . Your videos are full of information.
I built this exact computer, only got an arctic liquid cooler III 240, which to my surprise doesn't quite fit, it's too big for both side and top mount, so I had to put it in slightly offset, with only 6 screws... but it works.
Those arctic coolers, although they’re vastly superior, are tricky to fit even in pc cases that should be more than compatible to fit them haha.
Damn that was a good video. I'm so motivated now to build my own PC. LOL
i’m building my computer tomorrow, it’s gonna be a 7600x and the 7900 gre i’m going with a cheaper montech case though, i got a great deal from micro center it was a cpu mobo combo plus a stick of ram all for 300 dollars
This is the one 🙌.
Awesome!
"Down here, where the Graphics Card Is" ...that had me rollin man hilarious
Very similar to my setup but it was a bit more expensive, mostly because I built it around the launch of the RX 7800 XT. Back then the motherboards were much more expensive I paid more than $200 for just the motherboard. If i were to the build to day if think I would go with the GRE instead, it wasn’t out at the time. I use Sony m9 4K 144hz mini-led HDR600 monitor with my XFX Merc 319 black edition, you get away with in newer titles with FSR 3.1 frame generation.
Does this build support an upgrade to a 7800x3d GPU in a year or so?
atton rand eh? certified gaming over here
Crazy how in just a few months when 8000 and 5090 release well likely be able to build a 4070s/77x bundle pc for like under 1000$ etc and a 4080s/78x for 1500
It’ll be a fun time to build a pc for sure
Dang your lookin nice :) Last watched your vids a few years ago when i got my current pc, maybe it's about time to upgrade
Great video man similar to what I’m about to build ❤
Nice, what are you building?
7900 gre and a 7800x3d I know it might be a bit overkill 😂 but I got a good deal for it in my country
Great deal on the mobo man
Haha thanks
19:29 Firmly grasp it!
Does this build work if I use the amd ryzen 7 7700x
Nice guide! you forgot to show setting up the display refresh rate 😶🌫
I have read somewhere, that air do not like to turn 90 degrees, so front fans would be better....No reason to cooling glass side panel.
I think 7600 is plenty, X is only if you seriously plan to over clock. Also 7600 uses about 88Watts at base and I believe the 7600x is about 114Watts
Is the Lian li lancool 207 compatible with this build ? Currently ordering parts for this build
If it is ATX then it will work
What are your overclocks at?
Montech sky case is a banger
Hey! Awesome videos good instructions but It won’t let me buy a product key from the site that is In the link. Is there a different place to get one that is also cheap.
Did you use thermal paste & just skipped mentioning it? Or maybe this processor doesn't need it?
What braided power supply extension cables would you recommend?
Doing a very similar build this week! Thanks my friend
