FINALLY after over 2 years I finally get to receive my clout lmao Also feel like mentioning this, but my sniper loadout was never meant to be the tfc sniper that was something Sam pointed out and I don’t disagree with it looking similar, but I find it funny since that accidental similarity is what carried me through the tourney. Also also I wish drip or drown was brought back as a yearly event as there’s been so many more cosmetics and war paints that have been added and it’s a shame that people aren’t able to show them off. Honestly since this tourney I’ll make the confident claim that 7/8 other loadouts I use for the other classes could’ve made it to day 3 of this tourney, but alas there’s no more fashion shows.

I messed up and got nervous, and did the taunt, meaning Sam didn’t see our items. In this Samwiz1 is a father doing collage algebra for and needs all the students attention on. Unfortunately it’s Bring Your Kid to work day so his 20 leashed kids are running around the lecture hall like a pack of feral raccoons.
(Warning: Do NOT click "Read more" until watching the whole video as some things I bring up contain minor spoilers) This was a very fun event to participate in! Even though I already know how it ends, I'm willing to rewatch it simply because a lot of the loadouts featured a great! That and I just like witnessing the chaos that unfolded in this event lol. Going in, I knew for a fact that I wasn't going to win. I expected to make it to at least halfway through day 2. What I wasn't expecting was making it to the third and final day of the event. That was surprising given that I see my scout loadout to be pretty basic on its own (Minus my strange unusual scattergun). However, I knew it was only a matter of time before I would be eliminated, and looking back on it now... Yea, I deserved it. Not only was Rocktobot's loadout significantly flashier than mine (in terms of cosmetics), but the description on my Summer Shades was what killed my run. Even though I wasn't initially intending for it call out Sam, looking back on it now, I really should have just stuck with not giving it a description in the first place (Not that it would have mattered anyway because Rocktobot deserved the win on that round more than I did). This just goes to show that having a good reputation can only get you so far. Overall, I really enjoyed the event. And I can say the same for the entirety for the Drip or Drown series. Sam was one of the earliest TF2-centered UA-camrs that helped me gain an identity in the TF2 community. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't have considered continuing to make TF2 art. I don't do it as often as I used to, primarily because I want to focus on the things I'm doing in college, but I do try to make something every now and then. I'm also glad I got the chance to help out with the SFM renders toward the end of the tourney. Thank you so much Sam, both for giving us great TF2 content to watch and telling others about my work. God this whole thing feels nostalgic despite only being 2 years ago. It was a lot of fun to participate and watch! I am honestly really excited to watch the whole thing over again! Edit: Look mom I'm on TV! (2:36:35-2:37:05 Left stage) Making it to the 3rd day top 64 was great especially considering 500 other people were in there at some point. Kinda thought I might have been in for a little more time but glad I was on at all. Condensing 3 whole 6+ hour vods is probably hard to do. Glad that Legolas won in the end. Pumpkin moon was my gateway into style in tf2 so seeing pumpkin moon on the very hat that got me all of my favorite stuff win this tourney was awesome! Further edit: I genuinely can't stop adding to this comment because of all the memories that keep coming back. I still use that pyro loadout to this day however I no longer have the unusual wandering wraith (It's just a strange one now) and the only paint and the occasional different torso cosmetic. I am still really proud of that loadout. The wandering wraith unusual did however manage to get me the unusual that I always dreamed about (A specialized killstreak cauldron bubbles bonk helm) The tournament was awesome it made me think more about style and how inlook both in game and out. This was ultimately just a simple series to get some views but man the times I was in drip or drown (once or twice) and the tournament as a whole are things I fondly remember. I don't know if you will see this Sam, especially with how many times I've edited this comment but damn for slop this has made me feel more joy than any well put together video ever has. God speed.
A fun time this was, enjoyed being in these sessions. Have fun knowing this is no longer on the back of your mind with an entire server of Rats begging it be released. To those who where there, hope you had as much of a joyous time as I did.

I am absolutely impressed with all the creative ideas people can put together using TF2's cosmetic catalog. I got to see so many awesome unusual effect combinations, hilarious custom labels, and overall extremely creative loadouts! I can't believe its been 2 years since this stream happened, time really flew by.. 1:11:00 Was a blast getting even a little bit of the spotlight here folks! While I knew I was a bit screwed against Graveyard Zombie, I was shocked the judges thought mine was a good loadout if a little lacking! I have updated my outfit a bit to now include a tuxedo cosmetic to really sell the whole Entrepreneur stuff. If this ever returns I would love to make a return, but alas it was fun while it lasted!
I wasn’t gifted with wifi at an early age so smash bros brawl became my favorite game to play achievement hunting, fighting bot players, STORY MODE!, the coin mini game, playing the old nintendo game demos, character hunting, and yes i was really gullible enough to believe the fake videos of people unlocking shadow the hedgehog as a playable character to think my interest in the series all started with a smash bros brawl montage with peanut butter jelly time playing in the background

It was my Dream to be in a Drip or Drown video and this was my debut fun fact this tourney conflicted with my work sched but desperation and desire bested me as i wanna experience it first hand my sniper outfit was mediocre as I was holding back just to lose with intent but that one key detail (My jar full of orange juices) helped me made it through. Also huge shout out to Lord Asker my fellow other kiwi opponent i knew Sam did it on purpose since we are the only two New Zealanders in the tourney. I honestly wished the work was not interrupted so i can give Wyro my opponent from round 2 real competition and going all in with my fashion. Glad that Legolas won in the end. Pumpkin moon was my gateway into style in tf2 so seeing pumpkin moon on the very hat that got me all of my favorite stuff win this tourney was awesome!
Further edit: I genuinely can't stop adding to this comment because of all the memories that keep coming back.
I still use that pyro loadout to this day however I no longer have the unusual wandering wraith (It's just a strange one now) and the only paint and the occasional different torso cosmetic. I am still really proud of that loadout.
The wandering wraith unusual did however manage to get me the unusual that I always dreamed about (A specialized killstreak cauldron bubbles bonk helm) The tournament was awesome it made me think more about style and how inlook both in game and out. This was ultimately just a simple series to get some views but man the times I was in drip or drown (once or twice) and the tournament as a whole are things I fondly remember.
I don't know if you will see this Sam, especially with how many times I've edited this comment but damn for slop this has made me feel more joy than any well put together video ever has.

I am absolutely impressed with all the creative ideas people can put together using TF2's cosmetic catalog. I got to see so many awesome unusual effect combinations, hilarious custom labels, and overall extremely creative loadouts! I can't believe its been 2 years since this stream happened, time really flew by.. I'm very glad I was able to be a judge and get involved for this event, having this video come up has actually brought back my motivation to make more content.
Now about Demo's Last Mission, no I hadn't forgot about him! My plans for Demo was for him to have a cameo for The Late Ringer: Episode 2. This project has been in the works for a while and I saw Fashion Fortress as a fun and special opportunity to cast a TF2 loadout as a team member. Him becoming a fan favourite was a really wholesome to witness from the chat. He wouldn't have made it this far without your support. o7

While I knew I was a bit screwed against Graveyard Zombie, I was shocked the judges thought mine was a good loadout if a little lacking! I have updated my outfit a bit to now include a tuxedo cosmetic to really sell the whole Entrepreneur stuff. If this ever returns I would love to make a return, but alas it was fun while it lasted!

I wasn’t gifted with wifi at an early age so smash bros brawl became my favorite game to play achievement hunting, fighting bot players, STORY MODE!, the coin mini game, playing the old nintendo game demos, character hunting, and yes i was really gullible enough to believe the fake videos of people unlocking shadow the hedgehog as a playable character to think my interest in the series all started with a smash bros brawl montage with peanut butter jelly time playing in the background

It was my Dream to be in a Drip or Drown video and this was my debut fun fact this tourney conflicted with my work sched but desperation and desire bested me as i wanna experience it first hand my sniper outfit was mediocre as I was holding back just to lose with intent but that one key detail (My jar full of orange juices) helped me made it through. Also huge shout out to Lord Asker my fellow other kiwi opponent i knew Sam did it on purpose since we are the only two New Zealanders in the tourney. I honestly wished the work was not interrupted so i can give Wyro my opponent from round 2 real competition and going all in with my fashion. Did Sam forget to add some sections in the video? Because I was in the tournament (I was #213) and I couldn’t find when I showed up.
The significant majority of the participants didn’t make the cut just because I only wanted to include things I found interesting, be that by serious amusement or just a casual funny thing. At 3.5 hours long already, I figured any longer and the audience would die on the spot if I included more than what I immediately found of note.
If I was one of the judges, I would've voted for Vergil frame 1 every time.
