One of my favorite lines is from "Clear and Present Danger." Raymond Cruz (The Closer, Major Crimes) is the cadet who keeps ringing the target near the judges. He finally gets enough shots to pass and they ask him to stand up. He is inside 25 yards. "How did you get so close?" "Sir, by being a sneaky bastard, Sir!"
I need to watch HEAT again, it's been 20+ yrs since I've watched it and it was a great movie. I don't believe I saw Enemy At The Gates before so I need to.
Yes indeed Ryan. One of those scenes that make us feel embarrassed or embarrassed for Hollywood. Enemy at the Gates was also my favorite Sniper movie along with the infamous 'Lady Death' ( a Soviet Ukrainian incidentally)
"That;s an AR-15 with iron sights". Val starts shooting full auto. Umm... no it isn't? Unless its been modified, but I don't think you can tell that from there...

This was cool hearing Ryan's take. Ya'll should do more!
Awesome! Love Ryan! Good man!
More of this please sir.

Got to love Ryan. Wish I could go to his Sniper School!
In Heat, they used actual blanks so they could get the reflection of sound off the buildings.
When’s the next batch of shooting course Ryan ?
I remember watching American Sniper and laughing inside whenever they imitated recoil 😂

Yeah, very cool indeed. Thanks for the insight from a true warrior. I especially love it when Hollywood gets torn up,... but that's just me.
That is about the best movie gun fight scene. Real good film if u ask me
The sniper in clear and present danger intentionally put that cheese burger wrapping there to throw off the walkers
Should review den of thieves
HEAT firefight was so good because they had a military advisor from the SAS. I believe it was the author of Bravo Two Zero, Andy McNabb.
It was
No it wasn’t
Good job Ryan.
Andy McNab, S.A.S. trained the actors for Heat, hence the realism.

I remember when I saw Navy SEALs with Charlie Sheen and just remember pretending like I was the the sniper they called "God" in that movie.
Give Hollywood some credit for effort.
