I love characters like that old man, it's what makes seeing the world great. I used to do a lot of traveling years ago on my bike and whenever we'd rock up to a new town we'd always end up in the local pub meeting the local characters, it was fantastic!

As someone who loves pizza (and worked in a pizza place for a little over 8 years), this challenge had me drooling. It looked so delicious and yet I can only imagine the challenge that came with it. The pizza did look pretty girthy for sure, but as the waitress said it's a meat lovers dream. That gentleman that was there during this challenge was a character for sure, allowed for some great comedy back and forth between you two (as well as the rest of the staff). Great video as always, such phenomenal work.

I love this type of video, when its full of banter with customers and the staff are genuinely willing you on and get behind you. Its amazing, unlike that Connors scam place where they gave you a third extra of everything, and 20 million portions of chips and 6 slices of toast. I don't think I will ever get over that, I was so raging when I saw the facebook posts.

I don't just love your videos for your superhuman feats, I love them because I get to see so many unique people that you encounter during these challenges. You get to witness more personality because you're there for an 'event' rather than just a day-to-day customer. Really excellent way to meet people, and it just adds more uniqueness due to the fact that you travel to do these as well.
I absolutely abhor burning the roof of my mouth! I just don't know how you manage after that. Every time I see you getting ready to dig in, I yell, "It's too hot! Wait a little!". You are crazy, but we love it. Staff and patron involvement is always the cherry on top. :D Still thought, it would take longer than that, massive effort. 🤘

I was just thinking, could you imagine ordering one of these and eating the entire thing without knowing it's a challenge, and then being given the t-shirt?
How big is it? I feel confident that I can eat a whole 16 incher when I'm particularly hungry, maybe even an 18 incher. But with THAT many toppings? I'd probably have to starve myself, but I might just barely be able to do it. 45 minutes is not guaranteed though, I can say that much
Come for a visit sometime. We Canadians like to work hard and play harder and there's a little bit of something for everyone here from urban activities to the great outdoors (that we have in extreme abundance as the country is largely empty).
Don't forget, any time you are in Canada, it is very important to point out that it has been over 30 years since a Canadian team has won the Cup (don't ask what cup, there is only one cup that counts in Canada).

I am seeing is older people used to be able to banter back-and-forth without being easily offended but nowadays, the younger generations get extremely offended I even the smallest of comments. I see this all the time, even with the younger people in my family.

The great thing about the Beard, he can go into any restaurant completely stealthy and no one will ever know he's a pro eater. He doesn't let the food cool down, he has the confidence of a five year old that just fell off his bike and he can't be bothered to check his clothes for stickers or tags. Brilliant! omg this looks so good. 95% of food challenges I see either have something I dont eat or cant eat on it, or something that just looks disgusting. Now THIS.... no problem. looks delicious, guess if I ever goto montreal Im going to have to do this. I eat 24" pizzas locally by myself no problem 😅
Nice man! I'm French Canadian. You're eating that pizza in the area I grew up. In Monreal, most of everyone is bilingual in French and English as you noticed. But if you drive an hour out of Montreal good luck to find someone who speeks English lol I hope you enjoyed the taste.

I’m an Aussie who briefly lived in Toronto, ON but frequently visited MTL because I’m a big Habs fan. Montréal is like no other city in Canada. It just has its own heartbeat and it is just so fun to explore. Loved this video a lot. I was smiling the whole time 😊
probably could have flattened the crust all around first to give the rest some time to cool off, but even that wouldn't buy much time. In my experience melted cheese tends to take quite a while to cool off

I live about 15 minutes from this Pizza place. It's very very good. It's honestly one of the best Pizza places in the West Island of Montreal. So good :)

Nice man! I'm French Canadian. You're eating that pizza in the area I grew up. In Monreal, most of everyone is bilingual in French and English as you noticed. But if you drive an hour out of Montreal good luck to find someone who speeks English lol I hope you enjoyed the taste.

probably could have flattened the crust all around first to give the rest some time to cool off, but even that wouldn't buy much time. In my experience melted cheese tends to take quite a while to cool off
